Elena, like many of us, did not realize the impact of the trauma, how it had become trapped in her neural passageways, preventing her from resolving feelings from the incident, years after the events had occurred and counseling had concluded. In 2013, her husband, who was being treated by neurologist Ron Ruden,  inventor of the Havening Practice,  came to her with an interesting proposition to be the live demonstration model at a training for practitioners. The effect of  this demo convinced Elena to leave her career as a securities attorney and  brought her to her mission of getting certified as a Havening practitioner to support her clients to free themselves of their traumas.
