Hello, my name is Maddy and I’m Hannah, we are reading-partners-in-crime. Over the last 2 years, we have had over 50 book-based adventures together. We investigate a real-life case using advice from murder mystery authors. We review a book, find the sleuthing tips and hopefully, solve the case. Welcome to the Unsolved Case of the Missing Salmon.

In each episode, we talk about a different murder mystery book. It could be a familiar Golden Age novel or a modern thriller. All our choices are written by women mystery authors .In Season 4, we continue our search for more Queens of Crime- who will be crowned next?

Indeed and in Case Notes, I am still investigating the missing salmon that disappeared on 22nd July 2017. That is determination, mon ami. I’ll be there every step of the way along with our feline sidekick, Hercule. There will be more about him in regular Purrcule Pawrot updates.

Hope you enjoy listening to the trailer. If you would prefer to read then here is the transcript:

Hello, my name is Maddy and I’m Hannah, we are reading-partners-in-crime. Over the last 2 years, we have gone on 45 book-based adventures.

All our choices are written by women mystery authors. In Season 3, we will be searching for more Queens of Crime to join the 8 mystery geniuses that we’ve already crowned. In Case Notes, I’ll be re-opening the investigation into the missing salmon. Are you? Yes, there have been some new leads and fishy suspects. Well, that’s very intriguing! I know, and (of course!) there will still be Mystery Business, expert guests and special bonus episodes. Wow, Season 3 sounds like (to use an excellent mystery phrase) the berries, the absolute berries. Doesn’t it just? We can’t wait for you, Mes Amies to join us. Welcome to Season 3 of The Unsolved Case of the Missing Salmon.

Hope you enjoy listening to the trailer. If you would prefer to read then here is the transcript:

Hello, my name is Maddy and I’m Hannah, we are murder mystery bookworms and aspiring amateur sleuths. We are reading partners-in-crime and over the last year and a half, we have gone on over 30 book-based adventures. We investigate a real-life case using advice from murder mystery authors (and with the help of our feline sidekicks- Hercule and Hastings). We review a book, find the sleuthing tips and hopefully, solve the case. Welcome to The Unsolved Case of The Missing Salmon, the book club for amateur sleuths.

In each episode, we talk about a different murder mystery book. It could be a familiar Golden Age novel or a modern thriller. All our choices are written by women mystery authors. Indeed, and in Season 2 we commit to reading books that represent a diverse range of women and their experiences. Yes, and in a new feature, Queens of Crime, we will sharing more about women writers who we think are murder mystery geniuses and deserve to have their excellence recognised. Yes! And we have a new case that we will be investigating and I, Maddy will be taking the lead as we extract nuggets of wisdom from the murder mystery novels to help with the ongoing investigation. It’s all very exciting! And for any listeners who are fans of our feline sidekicks, Hercule and Hastings. Never fear, because there will still be regular Purrcule Pawrot updates. Oh and we’ll be chatting about Mystery Business and having special guests! Season 2 really does have it all, doesn’t it? Yes, it does and we can’t wait for you, Mes Amies to join us.
