Ankit is the founder and CEO of IdeaForge, a company that specializes in the design and manufacturing of drones. IdeaForge drones today are used across a variety of defence, law enforcement, and commercial applications, including the surveillance and security of India's borders. IdeaForge is a completely indigenous company of India with most of the senior leadership, including Ankit, being graduates of IIT Bombay.
In this conversation, we talk about how IdeaForge came into being, their early struggles, the development of the drone industry in India which they led, the technological challenges of building high quality drones and the future of the industry.
