Hello and welcome to this incredibly fun video where I claim some vampiric airdrops, talk about the latest Townhall and the upcoming arcade mini games and, of course, my favourite subject, yours truly. As I am growing along with you, my delightful audience, I am learning to let go and have so much fun! We will look at Iza the Fanged art along with her lore, open some Gladius and Chaos Legion packs and let’s not forget our ritual battle. In a post from @yoog, we will see what the odds are for getting a legendary card with and without potions.
That’s it for today, expect a reworking of the reward system soon and so much more from the astonishing team at Splinterlands! The growth is very real and reflected by a pipeline, strengthened by countless new employees and contractors!
I would like to thank the incredible @theycallmedan and the team at 3Speak without whom these videos would not be possible!

Hello Splinterpixies and Splinterfairies,
2021 marked the year for an explosive growth. The pandemic may have played a role in Splinterlands being considered as a legitimate source of income. In the Philippines for example, Yield Guild Games has emerged as a beacon of light as far as player-run guilds are concerned. First with Axie Infinity and then with our favourite fantasy trading card game, players are organizing all around the world to take advantage of what Web 3.0 has to offer.
Gameplay has not evolved all that much this year but the Land expansion promises to do that in 2022. The townhalls, have strengthened the community by keeping us in the loop about the latest developpments while putting faces on the game we love. The arrival of Hardpoint, taking some burden off of Mat's shoulders is great news. Nate is helping us embrace our roles as Battle Mage, which in turn gradually transforms Splinterlands from something external to an immersive experience.
In-game guilds like my beloved Goat Gang has allowed for players to bond and communicate like never before.
Guilds are fun, engaging and I could see new dynamics be implemented between them like diplomacy or spying. Mechanics that go beyond coding and promote roleplay, enabling a virtuous cycle between player interactions and user experience.
I love the art for Gladius cards as the characters are showcased having a special relationship with their weapons which reminds me of the Arenas of Antiquity in terms of badassery.
While SPS airdrops have been an incredible bounty, they can be difficult for new players to understand. However, this airdrop has been a generous gift that makes me forever grateful to Splinterlands.
Although a JRPG style game can only emerge in the distant future, I catch myself dreaming about falling for this genre again, just like I did in the Super Nintendo era. I would love to see a select lineup of NFTs from different Splinterlands sets, allow you to push through difficult side quests by virtue of ownership.
A decent project in that genres is Another Eden, which I have played for a while but it is making me miss that golden age where RPGs were self contained with no in app purchases. They drew you inn with their incredible storytelling, the likes of which I haven't seen since Xenogears for Playstation.
A Splinterlands comic book would go a long way to make the mythology engaging and creating relationship between different characters because let's face it, envisaging an entire universe from the lore of individual cards can be challenging and we need bridges by way of fleshed out scenarios.
That being said, the narrative department is on fire, with narrated shorts pioneering this new era of gaming, brigning the Chaos Legion to the players. We are witnessing history being made both in the game and outside of it.
On that note, Happy New Year everyone, thank you for suporting this one drop in an ocean of engaing content. I much value all your comments, be well.

Hello everyone, I am so happy to finally be opening some Chaos Legion packs and more importantly, to share this experience with the community.
So far, I love the variety in the art, ranging from playful to spooky. I am surprised that there was no ability introduced which would affect all Goblins or all Venari, this will eventually make the meta quite interesting, but we will have to wait some more.
Today's spotlight is Queen Mycelia, I will be reading her lore and of course, stick around for the Final Battle!

In this video, I will be purchasing a Splintertalk NFT that symbolizes the launch of Chaos Legions and along with it, an era of abundance for Splinterlands. The the recent attention from the likes of YGG has given the ominous DR Blight a paradoxal aura of charisma. Dealing with the trials and tribulations of COVID, his plague doctor outfit is helpful in dealing with real life fears through the lore of Splinterlands.
The animation on the NFT is part of the graphic innovation that Nate and the team has been putting forward and it really helps to flesh out the universe, slowly but surely.
In this video I will take a look at what a DAO is, comparing it to the Hive proposal system. One major difference however, is that instead of simply funding useful projects, gaming DAOs can be used to have the community vote on what rules will be implemented, effectively influencing gameplay. One common question is: will new land plots ever be minted in Splinterlands and this is a perfect question for the community to vote on, each individual weighted, according to their staked SPS.
The Voucher aidrop might be over but the use case for SPS is only beginning.

Crypto and NFTs are volatile assets and can be more or less secure, do your own diligence and only invest what you are willing to risk loosing.

I mean just look at this handsome bear of pure Pelacor sexiness, how could he not become a gay icon?
Today I present you with a video that has allowed my channel to ride the NFT wave like no other. It is a typical pack opening video including Djin Denova and a gold Pelacor Mercenary. I will be reading the lore of this husky beast of an angel in the video.
I notice that the Pelacor Conjurer looks like the Wall Street Bets guy which, I know, is very perceptive of me.
Getting all these views is super encouraging and has prompted me to start a series and engage with the community more than ever before.

My godmother Caroline is the best. She has worked hard, all her life, to build a dream home on the riverfront in Joliette, renovating a long-standing summer cottage in her husband Martin's family. They had the flooring done, which allowed them to start other construction stages according to the different permits required. Truth be told, they pushed the limits of what could be done within the municipality. You will find a glimpse of the place in my video, but today I would like to show you the nature of the province I never really left behind, the greenery close to my beloved godmother's house.|

She is a very generous woman who loves birds so much, that one winter she decided to give a helping hand to the geese, providing them with a rare winter food. | content2One evening during this visit, I asked Martin if instead of encouraging his children to play soccer, he could have sent them to dance. | Auntie Laurence, Lolo to her friends, is the godmother of my brother Patrick. If you remember, I introduced him to you recently. She is a musician, very entertaining and has a great imagination. Her childlike heart is very rare, I wonder how she managed to preserve it in the urban jungle. She has probably had to choose herself time and time again so as not to let others dry up her abundant well of vitality. | Here we are on a small stretch of beach, ready for a swim, to enjoy the last splendid days that nature wants to offer us. I love spending time with Caro and Lolo, it's the perfect combination. The only problem is that the time spent together goes too fast. | | --- | --- |
| I consider myself extremely lucky to have been born into such a good family. I have done nothing to deserve this, and I try to give back to others as best I can. My aunt Caro is very kind, but the charm of our relationship is that together we are totally relaxed. It is the miracle of contemporary life, each one goes about his or her business independently and when we meet again, we have evolved but it is easy to find each other's personality, which is truly reassuring. In our case, reaching a balance between being level-headed and bon vivant is a game that never ends. I have great respect for my godmother who has always strived to be part of my life, and I feel that it is my turn to value her, because she is an extraordinary being and she deserves it! If you are anything like me, you enjoyed pretending to be a grownup as a child, having a job and perhaps even handling a cash register. This is what inspired me to celebrate the last Creative Blast class of the summer, with a game of bartering and trade. I love the fact that usually the virtual imitates the analogue with “buttons” to click and ways to “pet” your virtual critters and yet, this game did the opposite, with drawings standing in for Jpeg and ultimately NFTs.
I remember a certain Art Theory course in university that focussed on the philosophical impact of copying art, my presentation was a Tarot reading and quite successful to boot. I learned that most of what we do online is an extension of a culture of reproduction that came centuries before the internet. Archetypes are constantly recycled and gods of old become saints, dish soap brands and yoga poses. Such is the curious wheel of beliefs, power and inventions, it is dictated by what society places its faith in the most; regardless of how aware one is of their devotion to the miracle of washing dishes.
One fun fact on this topic is that we often refer to copyright infringement as theft. However, when someone steals from another, they lose the object they were stolen. With copy, the person still has their valuable item in their possession so although it may be wrong, it is fundamentally different.
This collection shows wisdom beyond this pupil's years and reminds me of alchemy and oracles.
Back to my wonderful creatives. The whole activity was a challenge to get across to young minds around age 10 and some understood more than others about decentralization and how the ownership of video game items is truer on the blockchain and with NFTs.
We named our currency Babyhearts and used monopoly money to trade once ready.
Step one was to create a video game or an art collection idea. The individual pieces should not take too long to make and be cohesive.
After a round of approval and funding on my part, they would continue to draw for step two, and the students who expanded on their game concept would need to hone into their NFTs, making them visually pleasing. This is risky as one entrepreneur may feel like my distribution of Babyhearts is unfair but it went smoothly.
Step three is when the trading happens. Machines excellent when it comes to reproduction but for this simulation, the buyer needs to copy the NFTs they purchase on their own sheet of paper. It becomes a cheerful dance of intellectual property that is as intuitive as it is fun!
You get to bring your NFTs home with you, both the ones you “minted” and those you bought. It was so cute to hear their bright voices say the term over and over again as children do. They should be made aware of these marvels of technological innovation.
Being on Hive for so long, I have been in a privileged position to see the NFTs enter the mainstream. After all, I made a Crypto Kitty video on the day of launch.
I love the idea of an accessible blockchain that is fast and feeless so in that respect, Hive beats Etherium any day of the week. I can see children using large and small budgets to mint some creations on this blockchain.
Artists constantly learn from their mistakes and require an affordable platform to experiment and fine-tune the monetization of their art. Hive just perfect for this.
This collection is fascinating with its mythical creature theme and anyone would be charmed to use these creatures within Splinterlands, for example.
Do you think Splinterlands should take a page out of the Pokémon book and allow players to transform certain cards from cute to fierce similarly to how Charmander evolves into Charizard down the line? Or should it stay like this with adorable designs being few and far in between?
I caught this maverick off guard as he was convincing me to purchase a power when I pointed out that he had yet to attach the proper drawing to the specs he had designed. What can I say, I'm a sucker for a special FX drawing.
The kids were very nice to each other the whole way through and showed particular interest to each other's work. They laughed and were utterly amused while drawing the hours away.
I think that playing with money, while good for teaching math, is best used occasionally to make sure that art is experienced in a larger context of pure enjoyment and a place for emotional growth.
If you are still here, I kindly invite you to answer my special Splinterlands question in the comments.
Thanks for stopping by, you are amazing, be you, be true and don't try to be a hero... or do!

Hello everyone, today, I present to you my unboxing video featuring a collaboration running shoe between Asics and Vivienne Westwood.
I am happy with my purchase as I love the design. Like Westwood, I am stuck between my environmentalism and a love for active wear. I think the trimmed mesh coming out from the sole is a nice touch that adds an edge to the design.
It is not my first Kayano gel which I really enjoy as it allows for interval training which includes high-impact exercises. They are comfortable but also have a unique structure that gives the foot more support.
They were $300 which is fair for this type of design, but I have a feeling they will not be durable given that the fabric supporting the heel has begun to wear out after two workouts. It is barely noticeable so time will tell.
I was happy to wear them at the gym, where I work, the other day. It felt good and one of my favourite patrons Noemi, complimented them and said that my boss just bought a new pair. I really like my boss; I think she’s cool and has an acute understanding of her environment. I have respect for her as an entrepreneur, it must be a lot of effort to be a business owner. And she sure loves her shoes!
I also enjoy my colleague Diana who got me this job and the previous one, teaching fitness classes for this business. She is a hippie at heart in that she is a free spirit and a burner. We do hang out occasionally which is always great.
Fitness brings us together, it uplifts, entertains, and provides us with countless opportunities to go and explore the world around us!

This summer has been an ongoing outdoor journey, fitting in a bike ride around Stanley Park after my shift at the gym when the weather is nice and ending it at third beach for an invigorating swim. We have had very hot days when I stay longer in the water but when the breeze is blowing, just a quick dip does the trick. This was precisely my idea for Day to of the IAAC.
In the spirit of my beloved Abundance tribe, I will say that celebrating the simple pleasures of life is the key to happiness and there is an abundance of adventures within reach here by the Pacific Ocean. I spend time alone, unfettered by other people’s plans and schedules which allows for countless snap decisions and I feel free. Sometimes I feel lonely but I tell myself that it is appropriate for this strange era we live in.
You can see me at the end of the video, dancing at the drum circle which helps me feel more alive as I vibe with the community. I stay only for a short while, to charge up my batteries, because the rhythms can be hectic what with all sorts of levels of musicians involved in this joyous melting pot. But it does the trick and the loneliness completely subsides even as how I am familiar with no one. My grandfather was the same way, a mere walk down the Vegas strip where he lived intermittently, would give him the social infusion he needed. Of course, he had a wife and I am single, everything comes with pros and cons and I am glad to embrace the contemporary nature of my lifestyle characterized by pure freedom.
Aside from the video, I had a little fight with my best friend yesterday who also happens to be my ex. He could not take the fact that I spent time creating an avatar for tenis video game. I yelled at him, “What about what I want?"
I actually celebrate these inconsequential fights that serve as cues to orient one’s self in a friendship. They point to deeper things worth keeping an eye out for. I live two blocks away so I said that I am not mad but I am leaving. I lied, I am a little bit angry at his general impatience and his reflex to remind me that this is HIS console and HIS TV. Well bitch, this is MY time and it can be better spent.
I say this with a lot of love though. When fights are more serious, it’s hard to blog about them, far be it from me to throw my friends under the bus. Like many, I have an argumentative streak focusing on the ways I am right.
Nevertheless, these tiny squabbles are a great opportunity to dwell on our own hilarious pettiness and come together around our imperfections. Human nature is a fascinating topic. The day when I become a pure hermit will arrive… probably never.
Thank you for popping by, it has indeed been real. Be you, stay you and celebrate every day you are alive with a special emphasis on those you actually feel life coursing through your veins with an unapologetic passion for all things stimulating!

I am so thrilled and excited to join the I Am Alive Challenge on Hive!
For more information, check out the We Are Alive community, the rules simply
could not be easier to follow because it is a challenge that is all about you, your
life, your struggles and your accomplishments.
In this video, I kick things off with my trials and tribulations regarding depression as I have had
low energy of late. Of course, the pandemic is affecting me but also the fact that
I recently broke up is a tough pill to swallow.
Concerning the little pleasures of life, the local produce in Vancouver is making me
happy with and endless exploration of subtle flavours. The peaches for example are to
die for!
I had a dream where I befriended a partial colony of bees which I was struggling to
carry in a mason jar. Think this is a good sign for the future of Hive? Why not?
Being a social justice warrior an identity that fuels the drive for each new day and I touch
upon 2SLGBTQ+ rights in Africa. South Africa is the sole location where gay marriage
exists in the main land and a few islands under colonial protectorates also favour this novel tradition.
Thank you for encouraging me this far everyone, editing this video, I can see a
growth that can only be attributed to all your support!
