A staggering number of Americans are leaving the church every year. In fact, a recent study showed that membership to a house of worship fell below 50% for the first time since 1937 - Gallup Poll in 2021. People leave the church for many reasons - some valid, some not.
Where We Stand

A show that helps make the Christian faith practical and God approachable.
We're Kenny Lange and Ashley Fisher. We've been friends and served in ministry together for over a decade. During that time, we've come to see that there are a lot of intellectual discussions about our faith that make God seem like either a cosmic Santa Clause or some angry Dad in the sky.
We want to dive further into those conversations, poke holes in Christanese culture, and explore how
Christians can disagree (sometimes passionately) and still be friends.
Some topics can expect us to talk about are:
- Getting hurt in church
- Expectations of God and Christians
- The Theological Police and where to find them
We may not get everything right but sitting on the sidelines of faith isn’t an option and we hope you’ll participate in your own way.
