Wayne the Sage takes a little trek up Highway 221 to Chesnee, South Carolina and chats with Arnie of Outside Influence Brewing at their soft opening and gives a preview of what to expect at the brewery.
Steven and Wayne take a trip up to Asheville, North Carolina- not to brewery hop (thats for another time) but to learn what a malt house is. Brent from Riverbend Malt House gives the Boys a tour and then sits down and gives us the history and inner workings. As an added bonus Shawn joins the interview not as the owner of Plankowner Brewing but as the Sales rep for the Carolinas for Riverbend. Check it out!
This week's adventure finds the Mayor & the Sage taking a short trip to Piedmont SC to a hidden gem of the Upstate SC craft beer scene- Golden Grove Farm & Brew. Andrew shares some Cold Beer, stories of how Golden Grove came about, and all the things they have to offer which is more than most breweries- beer, cider, pizza, wings, disc golf, music, fishing pond etc. Talk about #SupportLocal ! There they meet up with Bobby (co owner) and Mike (head brewer) the day after Kite Hill's inaugural beer fest and talk about the brews, sweat and tears into making Clemson's first brewery a powerhouse in the Upstate SC Craft Beer Scene!

Episode 41 finds Steven trekking down to Columbia where he joins Eddie and Eddie 2.0 from Clocktower Taproom at Columbia's oldest craft brewery, River Rat Brewing where they brew Eddie's latest collaboration - 1700 American IPA! They chat with Tony & Katie from River Rat about brewing the beer and what River Rat's about, and also chat with special guest Chase aka Nutmeg2Palmetto!
After the break (3 weeks later) Steven meets up with Wayne and Jer Bear from the Clocktower Taproom to drink the beer before Eddie's birthday bash!

Our next adventure finds Steven and Wayne taking a hop, skip and a jump to a familiar place off of the hustle and bustle of Woodruff Road- Habitap Brewing in Greenville SC. The Boys lend a hand to head brewer Candice and her assistant Everette where they turn hops, grain, water and yeast into our next collaboration brew! Now they just need to name it!
After wrapping up their interview with the team at Replay, the fellas sat down again with social media guru Andrew as well as being joined by Charlotte Beerfluencer @RickSpeed for a staple segment a little forgotten lately... What're We Drinking? After they shared the good stuff, they got a bit of an announcement from The Producer.
The fellas put some miles on the tires and get their retro on in Fort Mill to catch up with the Head Brewer Logan and Taproom Manager Ryan of Replay Brewing Company.
