Teaching children about boundaries and body autonomy is crucial. It's not just about physical contact, but also about respecting others' boundaries and needs. Setting limits on physical affection, time, and attention helps kids learn patience and empathy. These lessons prepare them for adulthood and help them succeed in life.
This isn't easy, but it's essential for real life.
Why does it seem like everything nowadays needs to be a clickbait headline?
What does it actually accomplish?
I would argue that it actually accomplishes nothing and that in reality, it is a toxic trend that must be to be stopped.
Sometimes it can be hard to take criticism.
But what if someone comes at you with a suggestion?
Are they criticising the way you are doing things?
Sometimes it can be so easy to prickle with offense.
What do you do next?
It’s right after the baby is born and someone walks up to you and says,
“Oh yeah you’ll get your body back. You just have to work at it.”
Or its 3 years postpartum and your belly just isn’t the way it was before,
your boobs are pancakes and all you can keep thinking is
“I want my body back.”
What do we do when post baby, life changes?
Sometimes it feels like life has gone from the 90's Labels are toxic, I must be different to Everyone now labeling themselves to belong to a specific group. Was the 90’s onto something or is there something more going on?
“What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell just as sweet.” Yes I did just quote Shakespeare and no I don’t understand what he means by the second part. But the quote does make me wonder. What is in a name? Do names have power?
Real life is busy and self care is hard to remember. But self care is not what you think, shut out the pamper yourself ideology and embrace the secret to true self-care.
Real Life is lonely, and it can often feel like you are the last of your kind, but the truth is, You're not the only one. You. Are. Not. Alone.
My Life is Perfect. My Life is Perfect? No seriously! I have 3 amazing, chill, happy healthy children! And a loving supportive husband. But do I actually HAVE the perfect life? Or is it something else?
Growing up is hard, Growing a family is harder. Building new traditions while trying to relive the old ones is impossible.
