In both video and audio podcast formats, Terry freely explores motivational topics not often discussed when speaking about accelerating one’s career in corporate america. Too often the emphasis is just placed on the actual work but there is a range on topics and ideas to be examined as it relates to the actual approach to that work as well as the strategy behind the work when thinking about what’s most important to be seen as invaluable and promotable.
When I think about my career journey, what I know now is that IF I knew how to maneuver the political landscaping of corporate America and IF I had someone who could have taught me all the hard lessons I had to ultimately learn on my own, and IF I was apart of a program that helped me create a customized strategy where I could learn valuable lessons from experience professionals, I could have saved myself from a lot of growing pains, a lot of unforced errors and accelerated both the height and the speed of the trajectory of my career.
The dream that was given to you is yours to bring to life. Your journey is yours to travel and no one else’s. It’s so easy nowadays to allow what other people say and think really interfere with our own thoughts about who we are and where we are going and even what we want to achieve in our lives. Remember what you want is valid and it's important.

During this episode, I discuss abundance vs scarcity and offer my thoughts on how to maneuver the path in moving from one to the other to be able to get what you want out of your life.
Before we can have the promotion or the career that we want in our lives to materialize in the present, it usually first starts out as a thought in our minds. The path that we go on to actualize that thought into reality is largely determined by our beliefs and what we believe is possible – or our willingness or capacity to imagine that thing we have thought of can actually happen in real life! During this episode, we explore the power of believing in actualizing what you want in life!
The conversation and all the coaching I have given over the years to employees wanting more out of their career, always seem to go back to the idea of being good enough or being worth it. When you don’t have a clear understanding of what your colleagues or co-workers are doing to get noticed and ultimately to get promoted, the process seems very mysterious and ambiguous and can even feel downright unfair. During this episode, we dive into the topic of being good enough and what that looks like in today in corporate america when you are looking to get promoted and increase your pay.
