This week Bryan Dawson sits down with Dallas Terrell, a Personal Trainer in Huntsville who recently authored a book, "Who Kidnapped Uncle Tom and Why It Matters?"
Uncle Tom's Cabin played a pivotal role in Terrell's early life in liberal St. Louis where he watched Democrats destroy everything they touched. Terrell was always one to ask "Why?" His family's response was to hand him a book. The constant questioning and reading of countless books led him into his current vocation, as well as his conservative and theological stances.
Terrell’s father died in an accident when he was three, so he was raised by a strong conservative mother who refused government assistance. He was blessed to have many men in the community that treated him like a son and shaped him into the man he is today.
This is a great conversation that offers a unique perspective on black history from a conservative perspective.

That is an incredible quote shared by U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer on this episode as he discusses his vision for the Western Hemisphere Prosperity and Security Alliance.
Much like the space race in the ’60s, there is a race to secure rare earth minerals for semiconductor chips and other digital hardware. This is absolutely necessary for our national security. Currently, we are completely dependent on other nations, many of whom are not our allies and most of which are actually adversarial like China, for our needs in this realm.
Palmer shares his vision for how we can solve this problem, recounting conversations he has had with Elon Musk and others in Trump's inner-circle about the topic.
We also hear Palmer's personal story—everything from playing for Bear Bryant, to starting the Alabama Policy Institute, and then winning as the major underdog in a congressional race.
Esquire Magazine was recently awarded a Pulitzer Prize for a factually bereft, emotionally driven editorial about the life and death of Bubba Copeland in which "right wing media" was blamed for his death. That "right wing media" of course was 1819 News. The Esquire article failed to tell the full story or any of the details of Copeland's sexually deviant extracurricular activities.
In October of 2023, a trusted source told 1819 News that the Pastor of First Baptist Church of Phenix City, who was also the Mayor of Smith Station, Ala., was leading a double life as an online trans pornstar. A very bizarre lead, indeed, but things
turned out to be far worse. Copeland wasn't just dressing up in his wife's clothes and taking pictures, he was a public figure posting homoerotic slasher fiction on public social media pages under an alter ego. He was creating memes encouraging children to transition their gender using pictures from children in the community.
1819 News published several articles exposing these things and it soon became a national story. The Lee County Sheriff's Office went to do a wellness check on Copeland, and as they turned their lights on to pull him over, he sped off, getting into a chase with law enforcement. When the chase ended, Copeland exited the car brandishing a pistol and pulled the trigger, ending his life.
This was a tragic ending, but an ending that Copeland himself chose.
Unfortunately, the national—and international—media blamed 1819 News, reporter Craig Monger, editor Jeff Poor, and CEO Bryan Dawson, all of whom were doxed by unhinged liberals posting their home addresses and family pictures online. The lunatics relentlessly attacked all 1819 News staff and their families, trying everything they could to cancel anyone associated with the organization.
It didn't work; the fire only galvanized the team. 1819 News didn't lose a single donor or employee, and the adversity brought everyone together and made the organization stronger than ever.
Upon Esquire posting the announcement of their Pulitzer Prize to Twitter/X, the post was immediately Community Noted with the following: "The article that was awarded a Pulitzer prize trivializes the fact that former mayor ‘Bubba’ Copeland used photos of women and children to create transgender fetish content, and even wrote a sexual fantasy about murdering a woman in order to steal her identity."
The comments section was even less forgiving. Esquire was "ratioed" as the kids say.
Dawson brings on Craig Monger, the author of the original Bubba Copeland news stories that led to all this, to discuss the Pulitzer Prize and the details of the original reporting.

Butler says if the big pharmaceutical companies want to advertise, that is one subject, but why is our government funding these ads all over the state, especially now that we’re several years removed from the "pandemic"?
Butler also has a piece of legislation that will prevent sexual indoctrination in our public schools. Again, common sense, but extremely controversial. The bill is making serious headway, and if it passes, educators will not be allowed to talk about sexual orientation, gender identity, or other sexual subjects in the classroom.
The conversation then turns to RFK, MAHA, and what the powers-that-be are doing to our foods. Grateful that there is so much momentum in D.C. right now, Butler says that we are fortunate to be living in what will be written about in history books decades from now.
Dawson ends the conversation by asking Butler what it will take to get the momentum in D.C. to Montgomery so that our Republican Supermajority government begins to move towards a more conservative way of doing things.

Brother Chette Willimas went on to be the Chaplain for Auburn's football team and the Director of Auburn's chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes. His ministry was incredibly impactful and Coach Tuberville said his success would not have been possible without the ministry of Chette Williams.
Brother Chette passed away last year and at his funeral the large crowd was asked to stand if Chette Williams had led them to the Lord or baptized them. 70% of the crowd stood.
Collins took the reins of the Freedom Cowboys, formerly the Rocket City Cowboys, a homeschool football team based in Huntsville, from Stan McDonald 20 years ago and has been working tirelessly to evangelize and disciple young men through football ever since. It's an interesting mix of homeschoolers to at-risk youth that make up the team and no matter their background they are being introduced to biblical manhood and having their character developed through adversity.

Yarbrough has also introduced legislation—the Prenatal Equal Protection Act—seeking to give unborn children the same right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness that children out of the womb receive. Richard Scrushy is back in the news and is asserting that exculpatory evidence was intentionally withheld which would have exonerated him from an unjust conviction back in 2006.

In February 2023, U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville discovered that the Department of Defense, under the Biden administration, was paying travel and PTO for female employees who desired to kill their unborn children but were prevented from doing so by state law.
There were not many options for the Senate minority to stop this, but Tuberville placed holds on the mass promotion of military officers, drawing the ire of radical leftists, mainstream media, the Biden regime, and worst of all, many fellow Republicans.
Sen. Tuberville essentially waged war on the culture of death for 10 months, going through hell as the media sought to destroy him while his colleagues left him to fight by himself.
Recently, President Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth vindicated Tuberville, saying the Biden administration’s policy violated the Hyde Amendment, exactly what Tuberville said for the 10 months he was pummeled in the media.

In October 2024, Gov. Kay Ivey used her ""supreme executive power of this state"" to unilaterally fire then-Alabama Department of Veteran Affairs Commissioner Kent Davis.
Quite a saga led up to this unceremonious removal of the beloved ADVA commissioner, and many questions remain on whether Ivey has the authority to terminate a state agency head that serves at the pleasure of an appointed board of directors, in this case the State Board of Veterans Affairs.
A similar situation arose in the COVID pandemic years when the state health officer, who acts as the head of the Alabama Department of Public Health, Scott Harris, came under fire for his tyrannical measures in response to the virus. The governor's office claimed there was nothing Ivey could do, as an appointed board of directors chooses the state health officer, not the governor. Ivey claimed her hands were tied, so much so that legislation was passed to give the governor some authority over who the state health officer is in case another pandemic or health crisis arises.
The only conclusion that can be drawn from this is that Ivey had the authority to fire Scott Harris all along and chose not to, or she didn't have the authority to fire Kent Davis, but did it anyway.

Two Alabama Political Firestorms to Start the New Year
Retirement Systems of Alabama (RSA) head David Bronner recently published an article in the RSA's monthly publication The Advisor in which he bashed conservatives and conservative organizations, lamenting that we never offer any positive solutions and then pitching gambling as the panacea for all that ails the state. He named 1819 News specifically as one of those “smart” but troublesome organizations.
Bronner added to his attack with a letter to the editor of Lagniappe Daily in Mobile, criticizing 1819 News' Editor-in-Chief Jeff Poor.
Turning to the other firestorm, there was an obviously coordinated communications strategy in which numerous state agencies showered Governor Kay Ivey with praises almost in eulogistic fashion. In the wake of those adulations, rumors have abounded that she is going to step down. When 1819 News reached out to her office to see if. these rumors were true, we were told "No Comment."
All of that has set the conspiracy wheels ablaze as her stepping down would hand not only the throne to Lt. Gov Will Ainsworth but also incumbency going into what could be a hotly contested gubernatorial primary in 2026.

God is always weaving His way through apparently terrible circumstances. This week we get to hear a story that exemplifies this in an unpredictable way.
Kaleb Dillard is a young military veteran who grew up in Birmingham and attended Briarwood Christian School. A relatively normal, upright young man, Dillard found himself questioning the 2020 election results, a fact which landed him at the national Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, a day that will unfortunately go down in history.
Dillard was caught up in the momentum of frustrated and distrustful Americans, and as a result, came under federal indictment for crimes committed at the Capitol that day.
Dillard is not innocent and never claimed to be, but his story will frustrate you as you hear how his home was raided by federal law enforcement in a massive, publicized show of force with armored vehicles and SWAT teams. Even his parents were cuffed and detained in the back of a cop car as their house was ripped apart. Ironically, Dillard was released a few hours later on a $5,000 bond as he posed no threat to society.
This week we take the journey with Dillard from Birmingham, to D.C., to federal prison, and back to Birmingham, detailing just one of the many ways the federal government retaliated against those who showed up to voice their distrust and displeasure on Jan. 6 th . If we learned anything through the COVID nightmare it is that the medical industrial complex has no limits and no conscience. The things done and the decisions made and enforced from on high had horrific consequences and few positive results, yet no consequences came from the complete failure that was the COVID response.
This week Bryan Dawson hosts Dr. Jordan Vaughn, recent recipient of The Albert Patterson Courage Award. Vaughn, CEO of MedHelp in Birmingham and a Co-Executive Director of Concerned Doctors, discusses President-elect Donald Trump's healthcare-related appointments, offering insight into what these appointees will need to do on day one to right the public health ship and bring transparency to these agencies.
The two also discuss the life-saving work Vaughn is involved in, including helping those dealing with microclotting from the spike proteins, long COVID, and other injuries stemming from the experimental therapeutic we were told was safe and effective.
Perfectly healthy individuals received this therapeutic and became invalids, but after treatment from Vaughn, they were basically "brought back from the dead." Vaughn’s work helping these folks has also opened doors into treating dementia and Alzheimer’s.

The worst thing for conservatives to do now that Trump has won is to go back to their normal lives and assume everything is going to be hunky dory because our guy won. No, winning the election was the first battle in the war to reclaim our nation and to save Western Civilization.
We are in an existential crisis, meaning that if we don't do what is necessary in these next two years, the America you know and love will not exist in any real or meaningful way.

City – known for being one of the most ruthless business environments in the world. He

A few things have been getting under CEO Bryan Dawson’s skin lately. Naturally, he sat down with Joey Clark on his radio show News and Views, which airs on Montgomery's News/Talk 93.1, to air some of those concerns.
We thought the “radio rant” was too good not to share! Bryan and Joey's conversation begins with the discussion of Alabama State Health Officer Scott Harris' new appointment as the president of the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials. The public health organization has ties to George Soros and focuses on important topics like “health equity” and “dismantling white supremacy.” This brings out Harris' true colors – we all knew they were there – to the surface and reminds us that he should have been fired years ago.
If you recall, Alabama was told Harris couldn't be fired because he was appointed by a board of health professionals and therefore did not serve at the pleasure of the governor. This situation was such a problem that bills were filed in the last three legislative sessions to give the governor the authority to fire the state health officer. Last session one of those bills finally passed.
That stands in stark contrast to a recent move made by Governor Ivey to use her “supreme executive power of this state” to unilaterally fire a different state agency head who was also appointed by a board, Rear Admiral Kent Davis, the director of the Alabama Department of Veterans Affairs.
Either Ivey had the authority to fire Scott Harris and refused, or she doesn't have the authority to fire state agency heads like Rear Admiral Kent Davis who are appointed by a board, but she did it anyway.
Bryan and Joey's discussion turns from Ivey’s actions to the lack of leadership in the Alabama House, Senate, and Governor’s Office, which creates an environment where special interests reign supreme.
The conversation brought into clear focus the reality that since the Alabama Speaker of the House has been under the heavy influence of political consultant Steve Raby, the House priorities have been an increased gas tax, medical marijuana, and several major pushes for full blown gambling. The last push for gambling included Medicaid expansion.
It’s unbelievable that these are the priorities of the Republican supermajority of a state House in the most conservative state in the nation!
Finally, the “radio rant” ends with harsh criticism of local elected leaders such as mayors, county commissioners, and city councilmen who desperately seek reasons for why they can't do what is right and necessary, and that will allow them to pass the buck. Whether its Haitian immigrants being dumped into their cities or pornographic grooming literature in the children's section of their library, local leaders’ mantra is too often the same: "Ain't nuthin' I can do!" Obviously, you’ll want to give this episode a listen!

If you had any doubt that evil forces intervened in the 2020 election in favor of Joe Biden, the Twitter Files should have rid you of those doubts. In this episode, 1819 News CEO and Editor-in-Chief explain the decision making process that went into publishing the stories about the late Mayor and Pastor Bubba Copeland.
On Nov 1st, 2023, 1819 News published a story about a small town Alabama Mayor who was also a pastor. The story exposed that this elected official and Baptist preacher was leading a double life by posting sexual photos of him dressed in drag, as well as posting memes encouraging children to transition, and writing explicit homoerotic fiction stories. All of which were posted on public forums.
After we published the story, we had many citizens in the area reach out to provide us with more information, including the fact that the children pictured on the transition memes were actual children from the community that he used without the parents permission and the memes appeared on porn sites. We were also made aware that one of the fiction stories written by Mayor Copeland was about killing an actual female Phenix City business owner with the intent of stealing her identity to have sex with her husband.
In the early evening of Friday, Nov 3rd, 2023 Mayor Bubba Copeland took his life after being involved in a low speed pursuit with law enforcement that was attempting to stop him for a wellness check.
Media outlets from across the nation proceeded to place blame on 1819 News for his death saying that 1819 News had no right to share those aspects of Mayor/Pastor Bubba Copeland's life.

Kids to Love CEO, Lee Marshall, has been in the news recently regarding their battle with DHR. This week Bryan sits down with Lee to hear her story and about the incredible services that Kids to Love provides.

Sergeant Noah Galloway, a Birmingham, Alabama native, is the personification of valor and resilience. This Purple Heart awarded, double amputee decided to join the military as a result of the September 11th terror attacks. However, his battles didn’t end in the field when he was forced to adapt to a life with only two limbs after an IED attack during Operation Iraqi Freedom which would take his left leg above the knee and his left arm above the elbow.
