Jesus sent his first followers on a mission to advance his kingdom on Earth as it is in Heaven. It is the same for us today. Through this prayer, Jesus tells us that we are a part of a relationship that is engaged in a revolution, and we are partnering with the community of the Trinity to carry out our Father's family business.
Jesus has much to teach us about how to declare our dependence on His Father as we participate in the mission He's given us to be "beggars who show and tell other beggars where we've found bread."
