Valleyview Church's Teachings! We are excited for you to grow with us and discover the truth's that are in God's Word! Come grow with us.
As we read through Philippians 2, we see the perfect example of humility in the life of Jesus.
Humility is NOT weak, it is NOT cowardly, it is NOT timid.
There is power in humility. And humility is required for God to work in and through us.
As we read through Romans 8, we see that Creation is groaning for the children of God to be revealed!
God has destined for Creation to eagerly expect us, and it's God that is going to conform us to His image.
How are we to let His glory out? (Micah 6:8).

Join in with one of our missionaries as he shares the power of God dispersing the Kingdom by any means necessary!
"HOW do we do this together?"
We want to, as the body of Christ, to have personal revelation that God wants to use us, AS WELL as corporately.
GOD wants to use His body, to be ministers of reconciliation.
When we have the mind of Christ, we will be unified. When we are pursuing wholehearted obedience to Christ, we will be unified.
As we connect with God, and ask Him the question, "WHY DO WE OUTREACH TOGETHER"?
We began to realize that this question should be "HOW do we do this together?"
We want to, as the body of Christ, to have personal revelation that God wants to use us, AS WELL as corporately. GOD wants to use His body, to be ministers of reconcilation.
As we go through the final point of "WHY ME" which is to say why do you matter to God and His plan, it's important to remember that you are seen by God and valued by God.
Not only that, He receives all that we do for others, as if we're doing it for Him.
And lastly, He values our heart posture and who we do our good works for.
As we caught up with Cross Ministries, Erika taught on the powerful passage of Luke 5.
Be encouraged that God sees you, He steps into your situation, and He wants to partner with you in the blessing.
As we walk in Sonship, knowing who's we are, who He is, and that our actions have value; let us, in word and in deed, let everything we do be for His glory. Because we love Him!
As sons of our Father in Heaven, we want to everything we do to give Him glory.
And He calls us to do, whatever we're doing, do it with all your heart, as unto Him.
He rewards us, and He is excited when we do it all unto Him. Because He understands value, and when we do everything and whatever unto Him, this has value.
Our Father in heaven is always at work, always changing lives, and as His sons, it's important that we understand our identity as sons, and participate in our Father's work.
He wants us to work with Him, and that is where our authority comes from.
Our vision as a Church body is to live outward. There has been committed to us a message of reconciliation, and a commission to make disciples of all nations.
We don't do this in words and in speech, it is our desire to do this in ACTION and in TRUTH.
God has qualified you and God has deposited something in you that needs to be shared! And He wants to use you!

As we read in John 13, Jesus, who knows that His hour is about to come, desires that God's name would be glorified.
And as He is lifted up, He WILL draw all people to Himself.
Let that be our prayer in this hour!
Join us as we confront our hearts with the supernatural call to love one another as Jesus commands us to do in John 13.
How do we love one another as Jesus has loved us?
The Father has given us Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, that leads us into all truth. Through His Spirit, and His Word, we have access to truth.
Not only that, but He also establishes the Five-Fold Ministry to protect that truth, guard that truth, and to disciple into that truth.

As we read through Ephesians 1-2, and Romans 8, we see that we have the Holy Spirit that testifies to our spirit that we are God's Son.
With this comes family benefits.

Join us in part of out this focus on Holy Spirit. The reality is He longs to make His home in us, and He longs to transform us, from the inside out, into the image of Jesus.
What if this reality was fundamental to every believer?

God's ultimate goal for redemption did not end at the cross, and didn't end at His resurrection; God's ultimate goal for redemption was to have a fully justified, sanctified, and glorified humanity, indwelt by the very life of the Holy Spirit.
Today, we talk about the 2 places we can set our mind's eye, to behold God, just like Jesus set His eyes on heaven in John 17:1.
We want to behold God, magnify Him, establish Him as king of our hearts AND as God who resides IN US.
As we shift to life with the Holy Spirit, we take a look at Paul's blessing to the people of Corinth, as he prays that we would experience fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
The gift of Holy Spirit, His presence, His desire to live in you, is the advantage to us as believers.
Join us we complete the journey of Jesus' life with the Holy Spirit.
We cover a lot in this teaching: Jesus' death, resurrection, ascension, and 2nd coming!
Press in with us, as we not only look back at what Jesus did for us, but also we also look forward to what's to come; Jesus' return!
Join us as we wrap the last teaching on Jesus' life with the Holy Spirit.
We get to partner with Jesus' heart and role in Isaiah 61. To proclaim freedom, to see the captives set free.
Picking up where we left off, we read of Jesus' next steps, as He goes from His Baptism, the Revelation of the Father's love, to being tempted in every way for 40 days.
After His victory, He declares His purpose as the Anointed One.
Join us as our dear sister in Christ, Lisa, shares on temptation, and our desperate need for God's power to deliver us through each trial and each temptation.
Join us as we learn from 1 Peter, as Fred walks us through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Join us as we are inspired and challenged to keep seeking God's purpose for our lives. Even in the darkest times, we must endure, laying aside every weight.
Join us in part 2 of our teaching, as we look at the life and relationship between of Holy Spirit and Jesus!
As we dive into what Jesus' life with the Holy Spirit must've looked like, we begin with the conception of Jesus, and the working of the Holy Spirit.
As we dive into the book of John, hearing from John the Baptist, he's declaring Jesus' purpose, that He has come so that He came, not only to set us free, but to baptize us with the Holy Spirit.
Jesus was foretold in Exodus as the Rock from which would pour out living water!
This Sunday, we read through the Old Testament, as the prophets share that the Messiah would be anointed with God's Spirit.
As we read through Luke 18, we see Jesus' desire to give us the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, but first He must be baptized for us.
It's our desire to be slow to speak, and to hear from the voice of the Lord. Too often we talk from our own perspective, but what we truly need to be filled with is the Word of God.
As we grow in the prophetic, we want to be quick to listen, clothed in humility before our God, desiring His Word.
We want to make space for Holy Spirit to move in our lives, but there are ways in which we grieve or quench the Holy Spirit.
Join us this morning as we go over the importance of staying in step with Him, connecting with Him.
Join us as we continue the purpose of Prophesy, who has God purposed to prophecy, and how we must grow strong in hearing from the Lord.
This weekend, we spent a treasured time, engaging with our Sin, immersed in God' mercy, and encountered with Holy Spirit.
There is no good person, but praise God for His abundant mercies!
God is consumed with LOVE for us. The love of John 3:16 is what we focus on today, as we prepare our hearts to celebrate the life, death & resurrection of Jesus.
We continue our series of what it looks like to be consumed by the Word! As we read His Word, and let it dwell in us, we are matured into what God has intended for us to be.
And the more we read the Word, the more realize that we are sustained by it! How we need His Word!
Last week, we covered the importance of having His perspective, and the importance of God's Word dwelling in us richly.
This week, we focus on God's Word, and that it must become our hope and the truth we align our hearts with.
Join us as we dive deep into Colossians 3:1-17, and set our minds on the things above, and put on the things of Christ.
As we put into practice fasting our words and yielding to His thoughts and His perspective, we are asking for supernatural responses, and a supernatural heart that speaks from the heart of God.
Hebrews 12:1-2 talks about laying aside every weight and every sin, and fixing our eyes on Jesus. We are trading our weights and sins for surpassing pleasures and promises of Jesus.
As we choose to pursue the Lord, we are laying down every weight & sin. We are saying "less of me, more of you", and choosing the way of a Fasted Life-Style. Knowing that God has given us desires, as we Fast, we are actively pursuing Godly fascination, and are becoming established and rooted in His love.
As we choose to pursue the Lord, we are laying down every weight & sin. We are saying "less of me, more of you", and choosing the way of a Fasted Life-Style.
But what is it, and why are we pursuing this?
As we press into the end of our 21 Day Fast, we want to make sure that we end it strong!Â
So hold on, stand firm, and take heart! God is longing to encounter us in the secret place, so keep your eyes fixed on Him.
As our Church is pursuing this Fast together, it's important to remember to keep going (receive God's grace for fasting) and to re-focus on who you are doing this for. What you are giving up is worth replacing with more of Him.
When Jesus says, "When you fast" it is important to not only know why we fast, but for whom we are fasting for.
When we realize that must remain STEADFAST before the Lord, and that Fasting is meant to increase our capacity to receive more from Him.
When Jesus says, "When you fast" it is important to not only know why we fast, but for whom we are fasting for.
Knowing that we are spiritually barren without Jesus, and that when we fast, we are setting our heart to seek the Lord and His perspective.
As we enter into the month of December, we can find ourselves busy and lost in the busyness. But God is inviting us to seek after Him, love Him with all that we are, and discover the treasure that we can find in God.
Much like the Wise-men, God has made a way for us all to seek Him, to discover Him, and to worship Him.
It's important that we understand that becoming Plumb-lined is an invitation to being in relationship with Jesus, that God of all of Creation, the speaker of life. He says "follow me". What is our response?
When we hear "give thanks", we often think of the good times, and the blessings of life. But when we hear that sentence end with "in all things", suddenly we are faced with the heartaches, the brokenness, and the pain. How do we "give thanks in all things" as a Spiritual Discipline? Who are we giving thanks to? And why?
As we pursue to be in line with Jesus and His Word, we experience the power that God's Word has, coupled with the Holy Spirit! There is power in speaking the Word, declaring the Word, and hearing the Word declared. And only by the Word can we discover foundational, and irreplaceable truth.
As we pursue to be in line with Jesus and His Word, we experience the power that God's Word has, coupled with the Holy Spirit! There is power in speaking the Word, declaring the Word, and hearing the Word declared.
This morning, we get to hear from a dear brother in Christ! Tune in as Jeff shares on the importance of spending time with Christ (Ephesians 3:14-29) and the importance and significance of Paul's prayer.Â
The Word is what we compare ourselves to. It brings life and fills us fully! And it cannot be overvalued nor replaced.
We are family, we are because of the redemption of Christ. He desired that we would be together, one, like the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are One.
And being family requires Humility and our absolute Reliance on God's Word.
We are family, we are because of the redemption of Christ. He desired that we would be together, one, like the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are One.
The importance of communication with one another, our senses, the importance of exemplifying with, not only our words, but our actions, the love we have for one another, will all be covered today by our amazing brother in Christ, Daniel.
We long to know how to pray, this is what the disciples asked Jesus. And what better way to pray, then to take the prayers from Jesus and the disciples and begin applying them to our prayer life. Praying from the Word helps us align our hearts and our prayer life to God's desires and His ways.
It's our desire to see ourselves become more and more like Jesus. As we behold Him, we become more like Him! This is how He gets the glory, and how we can truly partner with Him, by being His hands and His feet.
Join our Church Family, as we pursue what the Gifts are and begin touching how we begin operating in them. Headsup though, it requires us dying to ourselves, but what a beautiful resurrection it is!
As we discover God's calling in our lives, we discover that we've all been given gifts, give to us by our Heavenly Father.Â
We want to know what they are, we want to grow in the place of trust, and become an instrument of Christ that shows the love, the power and the glory that only He is worthy of.
This week we continue getting to know the promise of the Holy Spirit, the intercession of the Holy Spirit, and the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit.
Last week we talked about the purpose of the gifts that are given to us by the power of the Holy Spirit! This week we get to know the promise of the Holy Spirit, the power of the Holy Spirit, and how we are Sealed as a Promise, given Supernatural Wisdom and Boldness, all through the generous power of the Holy Spirit.
As we continue growing in our weakness, we begin looking at the topic of operating in our spiritual gifts, and how we are called to work together in unity!
In all that is happening in the world, it's the question that is running in all of our minds "What is my response to this?" We dive into the Word, where we find see what God's response is to this, and how He desires for us to respond.
