In December of 2017 my whole life changed with four words, ”You have breast cancer.” In the shock of it all, I had 3 weeks to make many crucial decisions and opted for the double mastectomy that would save my life. In a daze of appointments and choices I considered reconstruction but I’m so thankful I opted out and am now enjoying the flat life! I want to help other women with their decision and life moving forward. There’s far too much pressure to conform to standards of beauty that may not be the best choice for your health.
