The religious leaders and many others were so preoccupied with preserving their power and authority that they missed recognizing Jesus’ Triumphal Entry as a fulfillment of prophecy and the arrival of the Messiah.

In this sermon, we explore the transformative story of Jacob, whose encounter with God led to a change in his name and identity, signifying a new beginning and divine purpose. This story reminds us that our true identity is not determined by our past mistakes or the opinions of others, but by how God sees and values us, calling us to embrace the new identity He offers.

Big Idea: God’s desire is for us to forget the old things in our life, and pursue Him above all else.
The Christmas season is a time of joy. God wants his people to be joyful in their redemption.
God wants to comfort his hurting people and a hurting world through the work of the Messiah, Jesus.
Surprises can be great to give and receive during Christmas. But, as we enjoy them, it is good to remember that the fulfillment of God's promises is not meant to be a surprise. Christmas is the celebration of God's fulfilled promise to send His very son to be our savior. Just as God promised to send Jesus the first time, he promises to send him again. We can look forward in HOPE, confidently anticipating Christ's second coming and the fulfillment of his promises throughout scripture.
Even though the book of Acts ends with Paul in Rome, the mission of God and the advancement of his kingdom continues today.
As the gospel begins to go to the ends of the world, God directs Paul where to go to advance the kingdom.
Saul was a murderer of Christians and was redeemed by Jesus to become Paul the apostle.
In this message, we explore the journey of Peter, an unassuming fisherman who became a pillar of the early Church through the power of the Holy Spirit. God often elevates the ordinary to a life of extraordinary purpose and action.
We see God using suffering for His purposes as Stephen's death expands the Gospel from Jerusalem to Judea and Samaria.
The Table of Grace- The table of grace reminds us that we have been given grace over our sin, we are in constant need of grace as we are tempted regularly, and will one day experience a grace in heaven free from sin, sickness and death.
Early believers were committed to learning Jesus' teachings and what they meant for this growing organism known as the church.
Big Idea: The Holy Spirit produces fruit in us that we are not capable of genuinely producing on our own.
Despite challenges and opposition, the church's mission is an unstoppable movement led by the Holy Spirit, calling us to embrace change, overcome our suspicions, and allow the Holy Spirit to shine through us.
The Holy Spirit empowers God's people to be witnesses of the good news of Jesus Christ, beginning in Jerusalem, then Judea, then Samaria, and finally to the ends of the earth.

Most of us struggle with prayer and often feel guilty for how little we pray. Jesus teaches us how to pray in Matt. 6:9-13. Because of my relationship to the Father and who His character, I can trust that in Him and His answers to my prayers.
Even among suffering and loss, Habakkuk has learned that he can trust God, and that with trust comes great joy - not in the circumstances but in God himself.
God is always at work, and while his work might seem slow to us, God will fulfill his Word in his own time and ways.
God is answering Habakkuk's prayers through not according to the prophet's expectations.
Habakkuk pours out his heart in a complaint to God, questioning why he appears silent and uncaring toward the situation.
Jesus extends an invitation to outsiders before they clean up their life, not because they cleaned up their life.
Jesus can answer our desperation because He has the power to change our story.

By the grace of Jesus, we are granted the gift of freedom and the ability to share that grace with those in our lives.
God wants us to know with certainty that He is gracious and invites outsiders to become insiders.
