Pastor Trevor continues our series in Ephesians, we pick up at chapter 4 where we read this. Give grace to your brothers and sisters in Christ because we love one another. We all have been given gifts in the spirit. We must be active in using them on this side of earth. Grace and Truth.

Pastor Tori, Youth Pastor at Peoria Nazarene joined us as our guest speaker to bring forward Galatians chapter 5. She broke down the fruits of the spirit and talked about how our lives would look if we served others in love.

Pastor Christy continues 1 Corinthians 12, she started by sharing he strength finders and explained how they work. Then after reading the chapter broke down how balance works in our world vs how it works through Christ!

Pastor Trevor begins 1 Corinthians 1, Pastor Trevor broke the chapter down into three parts, we walked through who the people of Corinth were and Paul's greeting to them. The problem begin division and how Paul addressed it in love, and the Wisdom of Jesus.

We are joined by Pastor Andy from Crossroads, he continues in Romans chapter 12. It was a great moment to focus on what worship truly is and how we as followers of The Way can do everything in worship.

Pastor Trevor continues in Romans chapter 6, we spent most of the time in discussion, so join us as you get a look into how we break open the scripture together.

Pastor Christ breaks open Romans Chapter 1 as we looked towards the search for common ground in what matters most. It has been a wonderful journey through scripture as we continue to reflect on who Jesus is in all of scripture.

Pastor Trevor continues and wraps up Acts with Acts 15 and a touch of 16. He continued on the theme of unity and talked about how having disagreements in the church are okay and healthy, as long as they don't break apart the body of Christ.

We were joined by our next guest speaker Estevan Zamora who comes to us from Renovation Nazarene in Phoenix. Not only did he bring a great message, but also doubled the size of our church with his family and friends. Having all of those new faces was perfect for his message about unity and living as one body in Christ regardless of your denomination or theological understanding.

Pastor Trevor continues into Acts 9 as we covered Saul's transformation on the road to Damascus into Paul. Though likely all of us have never killed someone simply for their belief, Trevor related to the pharisee that Saul had become, and how we can live a better life if we are committed to Christ as Paul was.

Pastor Christy continues in Acts 2:42-47. She talk about the beginnings of the church and how we have possibly seen it in our past and how we can see it differently today! Check the website for the circles she drew! How we can apply this she asked? The “apostles teachings” included the compilation of the story of Jesus’ life and teachings, and the declaration (like a sermon or lesson) of what all of it meant for human redemption. The fellowship “implies there was something distinctive” about this group of people. They were not JUST another sect of second Temple Judaism. They were something altogether different. Breaking of bread…Lord’s Supper? Shared meal? Pastor Trevor explains the thought behind our new circle groups launching August 2024! What would it look like if instead of the church creating programs that people have to volunteer for and so many resources are spent on, we the Church brought Christ into our already built rhythms?
House Church will remain our focus, but expanding that understanding into four categories.

Ali Gafford joins us at The Table from Hawaii, she continues our series in Luke chapter 23. One of our values is to Innovate. In trying new things we planned quarterly worship nights, our goal was to make it interactive. We joined together with our church and worshiped through song, and opened the floor to share what Jesus was leading us through in our lives. We were joined by guest speaker Jennifer Bentley, she comes to us from Crossroads Nazarene after recently receiving her District License. This week, Pastor Ryan preached about how we can believe the Bible is true because Jesus is true and the Bible is the best testimony to Him! There are a lot of reasons why people think the Bible might not be true, but Pastor Ryan discusses how it has been researched and proven time and time again and how it is the most faithful testimony we have to the love of God, through Jesus Christ!

We were very thankful to NHCC for the time we had there, but the MCA provides a couple of great advantages, especially when it comes to our kids! The people become to complain and mumble, so God provides for them over-and-over again, and He gives us a gift to remember all that he does for us, in the Sabbath.
