Welcome to Capitol Ambassadors where we are focused on the Christian mission and ministry of reconciliation. In 2 Corinthians 5:18-21, the Apostle Paul provides us the ministry we have as Ambassadors of Jesus Christ.
Prayer is not changing God's mind, but changing us and molding us to what God has decreed in life for us.
J. R. Miller reminds us that in the Christian's devotional life prayer has an essential place.
John Newton understood that the Church was the supreme institution that Christ has established.
Namely that God was in christ, reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them and he has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
Unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall not enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
Even when we were dead in our transgressions, he made us alive together with christ for by grace, you have been saved and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in order that in the ages to come, he might show the surpassing riches of his grace and kindness toward us in Christ.
The reality is that the church needs to fulfill the other end of that obligation and pray for our leaders.
