On today’s episode I am discussing my cannabis use and why I have decided to quit. I’ve talked about cannabis a bit before but thought it was time to give it it’s own episode. I started a monthly challenge for November I’m calling “New Me November” or “No Weed November” where I’m taking all the personal development information and techniques i’ve learned over the years to truly create a new me and stop smoking. To start off the month i figured I would start by talking about why I’ve smoked for years and why I’m quitting.
Although its becoming legal and more accepted there is still a huge stigma when it comes to cannabis. My hopes with this episode is to show you that it can be beneficial but also explaining how (like with anything) too much of a good thing can be bad. We’ll be discussing this topic more in the month of November on the podcast and social media as well so find me on Instagram @CandidCayla or on TikTok @caylaawithaC to continue this conversation.
11 years ago I lost my mom suddenly and tragically. Since then my life has never been the same. My mom’s death and my grief are a huge part of my story and today I’m taking the time to talk more about it.
In this episode, I talk about the lessons I’ve learned over the past 11 years and how I have managed and continue to manage my grief. I hope the lessons I’ve learned and this episode helps you on your own grief journey.

I love to plan. Give me all the planners, notebooks, pens, pencils, ALL OF IT. I will plan and dream all day long, but put things into action? Nope. Not gonna happen. This can often be the case with those of us that have ADHD we get dopamine from dreaming, creating, or planning but to actually put those plans into action seems impossible so we just keep planning and planning. At least thats what i did, until i found Notion.
Notion is a free all in one planning, productivity organization app & so much more. It is a blank slate for you to do whatever you want with and customize as you go. I discuss in this episode how I use notion and what I’ve learned from people like August Bradley & Marie Poulin on how to build a life management system in Notion.
I’ll be sharing some of my system and talking more about it on my instagram & tiktok so find me there @CaylaawithaC for more.
