Trust and managing money with your spouse go hand in hand. Which is why this week we’re prompting you to ask yourself - Do I trust my spouse with money, and does my spouse trust me with money?
Building trust with another person takes time and most of us aren’t really sure exactly how it’s done. We’re definitely not conscious of the sneaky ways we reveal that deep down - we don’t trust our partners with money. At least as much as we like to tell ourselves we do.
But just as others might think this topic is off limits - to us that means it’s fair game. Because some of the problems that you may be having in your marriage when it comes to managing money and making financial decisions together, might be rooted in an issue with trust.

Earning interest from a High Yield Savings Account is the easiest way to start earning passive income. Yet only 82% of Americans are benefiting from having one of these accounts!
In a High Yield Savings Account you could be earning between 4-5% interest on your savings. That's more than $600/year on a $15,000 Emergency Fund.
While that's not going to make you rich. It's more than that savings account you got when you opened your checking account.

When we decided to get serious about our finances, pay off our debt and reach Financial Freedom - we had no idea the benefits it would bring to our marriage!
Of course there were the obvious benefits that motivated us to protect our marriage. Less stress, fewer arguments and having the freedom to travel more.
But what we didn’t know was how learning to work together toward a challenging goal was going to help our marriage not just survive, but thrive!
What we realized much later was that through the process we cultivated Financial Intimacy in our relationship. Rather than financial issues being something that pushed us apart, it brought us together. All the while building trust, learning to communicate effectively, and other “soft skills” necessary to reach financial goals.

When you're focusing on things you cannot control like the economy, constantly comparing your salary or Net Worth to others, or focusing on other peoples lives rather than your own. Then you give up your personal power and lose the ability to make changes and move toward your financial goals.

Does the world really need another money podcast?
We asked ourselves the same question before starting this project.
But this isn’t just another “how-to” for your finances - full of jargon, judgment, shame or guilt.
radmoney will change the way you think and act! It’s casual, practical, passionate and candid!
Because you don’t need more “tips” - you need a better understanding of yourself, and how money plays a role in your life.
Every episode will be about our habits, behaviors, relationships, the psychology of money - and so much more!
We're your hosts Rebecca Brooks & Dylan Pollock! We’re partners in life, and in business, and we’re so excited to share our combined knowledge with you!
So if you’re ready to get real with yourself, and take an honest look at how money is at play in your life and in the world around you. You're in the right place.
This journey may not be easy but it is necessary if you want to be in control of your finances, live the life you want, and have a positive impact on the world!
