The forum featured Ward 1 candidates Dale Copeland and Tim Sherrick; Ward 2 candidates Larry East and Loren Roszel; Ward 4 candidates Aaron Kirkpatrick and Quinn Schipper; and Ward 5 candidate Trevor Dorsey. Ward 3 Councilor Jim Curd, Jr. provided an opening statement, but is not facing opposition for his seat.

Ward 4 candidate Christian LaTorraca; and Ward 5 candidates Karen Monroe and Matthew Snodgrass were invited, but decided not to participate.

Congressman Kevin Hern: U.S. House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on a bill this week that would rename the Owasso post office in honor of TSgt. Marshall Roberts who was killed in action in March of 2020. The Congressman will also be participating in the National Prayer Breakfast and wants to discuss the importance of prayer. Additionally, the Congressman would like to discuss the Canadian truckers protests against overreaching vaccine mandates. Finally, Rep. Hern shares his concerns over the “America COMPETES Act”, which he believes further weakens America’s foreign policy positions by conceding to China on several fronts.
