In this episode, Saoi + Michelle reconnect with an old colleague and former boss, Mandie Caroll. Mandie is a fabulous example of the saying, "life is what you make of it." Her transition into parenthood is an inspiring story on its own, but it's not the only thing that makes Mandie a breath of fresh air. Despite being a single mama (by choice) and working a job that provided a lot of comfort, Mandie took a risk and bet on herself... she returned to school to earn her Masters of Fine Arts to focus on her career as a writer. Today, she works as a professional design writer in the tech industry, while also working on her first book!
