Henry Sinclair is made Earl of Orkney by King Hakon Vl of Norway and enlists the help of the Fortress Keeper, John Work, and the Work Clan. An account of Rognvald’s travels is found. The Earl sails to Greenland and Newfoundland.
Anna Work and her family live in St John’s Newfoundland. The scientists continue their work, examining native specimens of Greenland and Newfoundland for a possible antidote.
Newfoundland 1005. Rognvald, a member of the Wark Clan of Orkney, sails to the northern peninsula of Newfoundland (the Western lands) for wood and stays in Leif Ericsson’s camp. He is given healing plants by a native.
Thé Cathédral in Gardar is dedicated. Magnus Havardson, a member of the Work Clan of Orkney, sails to Greenland. A family amulet is opened.
Scientists gather to find a cure for a pandemic. Anna Work, a physician and biochemist, who works with the World Health Organization (WHO) is among them.
