Life brings change for everyone. To navigate and thrive amid life's uncertainties, it’s important that you hold on to God's unchanging Word.
Psalm 34:8-9
The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

If change for a beter tomorrow is your hope, then go where God leads.
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. - Isaiah 43:2
Today, you might not feel the closeness of God's presence, nor hear His voice, but I want you to know, God sees and He hears.
You did not take a breath today, that God didn't know about. Not a bird falls to the ground without God knowing it. He knows the number of hairs on your head.
If it concerns you, it concerns God.
Trouble comes to all; no one is exempt. Yet, we who trust in God, have a hiding place. In Him, we can find shelter from the storms of life.

And He changeth the times and the seasons: He removeth kings, and setteth up kings: He giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:
He revealeth the deep and secret things: He knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with Him. Daniel 2:21-22
Meekness is not weakness, but self under control.
Blessed is the meek for they shall inherit the earth, and they shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
Without Him, there is no going.
Without Him, there is no knowing.
Without Him, there is not living.
Today, choose God...
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and He delighteth in his way.
-Psalm 37:23
**Meteorologists can help prepare us for incoming storms, but they cannot stop the storms from coming.
There are many things we can do to make our lives more secure, but we cannot prevent troubling times from happening.**

Peace without Jesus is transitory; it's short-lived.
Whereas peace with Jesus is indefinite; it's never-ending.

1 Peter 2:9
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvellous light;
Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. - Matthew 24:42-44
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. - Ecclesiastes 9:11

Yet, in the midst of it all, there is hope…
“Therefore, leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ: let us go on unto perfection…” -Hebrews 6:1
It is time to move beyond the basic teachings about Christ; not to forget them, but on to maturity in our understanding.
Ephesians 2:11-14 (NIV)
11. Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called “uncircumcised” by those who call themselves “the circumcision” (which is done in the body by human hands)— 12. remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. 13. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 .For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility,
Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them. Isaiah 42:9
You can never be an overcomer without first embracing change.
“And Jesus said, "For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not, might see; and that they which see, might be made blind.” John 9:39
Avoid spiritual blindness. Embrace God’s goodness for your life.
Knowing the truth, and applying the truth, makes you more than a conqueror.
Change for better begins with the truth.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. -1 John 4:18
Jesus came not to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.1 Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion,
2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.
3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves,
4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
– Philippians 2:1-4 (NIV)
Adversity is good.
Change for the better is birthed out of adversity. You will never know what you can do until you are forced to do what you thought you couldn't do.
Resistance builds strength.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Revelation 3:6
God is calling. Can you hear Him?
He is speaking. Listen.
His Word is your lifeline to a balanced life.
“…be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” **Romans 12:2
How the world sees us is not how God sees us. The world sees only our outer covering; God sees our hearts.
It's not how we stand before people that matters, but how we bow before God that matters.
The world in which we live is morally corrupt. It's gauge for measuring success is ineffective and without honest judgement.
Dressing successfully begins with God.**
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. -Philippians 4:8

In the Book of Job, chapter one, the Lord questions Satan as to his whereabouts.
And Satan answered, “…From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.” -Job 1:7

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. - James 4:7
Apart from Jesus we can’t do anything. All our efforts are fruitless without Him.
Be careful for nothing: but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
- Philippians 4:6-7Trust God with your tomorrows.
**The LORD is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He taketh me to lie down in green pastures. - Psalm 23:1-2
The sheep follows the Shepherd for guidance, not another sheep.**
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting live.” -John3:16
"It's vain to labor and strive for that which cannot satisfy the soul." **Ecclesiastes 6:7
When all of your labor is for your belly, then your appetite is never fulfilled.**
Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. -Hebrews 12:2
The will of God is our refuge and our fortress. In His will, He surrounds us and protects us. There is safety in the will of God.
For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. - Galatians 5:13

Don't despise the day of small beginnings. God is growing you. Every great tree starts with a tiny seed. Be still.
God has not forgotten you, neither has He forsaken you.**
Isaiah 57:15
For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
For the love of Christ constraineth us: because we thus judge, that if one died for all, than were all dead: And that He died for all, that they which live should not hence forth live unto themselves, but unto Him which died for them, and rose again,”
- 2 Corinthians 5:14-15
Jesus is our pacesetter.
A pacesetter is a runner or competitor who set the pace at the beginning of a race. Jesus is the author of our faith. “In the beginning God…”. Genesis 1:1
Before we were...Jesus was already here.
He has set the standards of achievement for us.
He came that we might have life and that more abundantly.
Following Jesus leads to abundant living.
We are living in a time where gross darkness seeks to cover everything and everyone.
It is only through true discipleship that the light of God is us will move away the darkness that seeks to envelop us.
Our battle is not as much with one another as it is with ourselves.
Jesus came to give us life, and that more abundantly.
However, until we learn how to subdue our flesh, we will live defeated lives.
Jesus said in Matthew 7:13-14
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
In Christ, God was reconciling the world unto Himself and He has committed unto us the message of reconciliation.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. - Psalm 23:5-6
For every trial we patiently endure, a gem of wisdom and knowledge is imparted.
**If you sat and listen attentively, you will hear the instructions of the Master Teacher.
Our trials are not designed to destroy us but to refine us.
Be still…God is molding you into an image of Himself.**
It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23
Even though the storms of life are blowing in your direction, and it seems like the winds will never die down; do know this, God has not forgotten you, neither has He forsaken you. You are still standing because He is upholding you.
Trust God...He won't let you fall.
“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
- 1 Thessalonians 5:18
"...Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." Psalm 30:5
Your troubles have an expiration date. No storm lasts forever.
This that you've been going through will soon be over.
Expect change.
Expect God to move on your behalf, and that quite early.
Change is coming.
"Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son: In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins:" - Colossians 1:13-14
The sufficiency of God's grace is truly amazing.
The righteous person may have many troubles,
but the Lord delivers him from them all;
He protects all his bones,
not one of them will be broken.
Evil will slay the wicked;
the foes of the righteous will be condemned. Psalm 34:19-21 (NIV)Every day will not be a day of rejoicing. But if you exercise confidence in the Lord, you shall prevail. With Christ Jesus, you are more than a conqueror.
“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in Him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” -John 15:5**When there's a power failure of any kind, we want to quickly connect back to the power source.
Lack of power can become a problem.
When you are not connected to Jesus, you will experience grave problems.**
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” - 2 Timothy 1:7
**Fear is an emotion, real or surreal, that receives its’ power from the lies upon which it is built. It’s the belief that something unpleasant is going to happen.
Fear is the assumption that you will fail…that things will never get better. That God doesn’t love you. Fear is a tool of Satan.
Listen and learn how to live life daily without fear.**
"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV)
Forgiveness is the highest form of love.
And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
-Mark 11:25-26
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in
heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my
burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30 (NIV))
**There's a spirit of greed, self-love, and sensuality permeating the atmosphere. It's a seed that has bred world wide corruption.
God is not pleased: "*Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness..." -Isaiah 5:20But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God - having a form of godliness but denying its power.
Have nothing to do with such people. They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.
- 2 Timothy 3:1-*7 (NIV)
**This is not the time to run. This is not the time to walk away.
This is the time to stand, and having done all to stand, stand fast and stand strong.
God is doing something. Be still and know that He cares.
He will not leave you. Trust Him. This too, shall pass.**
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; - 2 Corinthians 10:3-5
"And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favored, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women." Luke 1:28
Gabriel, the angel of the Lord, told Mary that grace, love and favor had been summoned by God to rest upon her. What a salutation!
Regardless of the rejection and the pain you might be experiencing. In spite of the unpleasantness surrounding your life, God wants you to know, you are blessed and highly favored,
God wants you to know that He cares.
**Is it bread or is it a stone?
Life can be hard!
But Jesus said, "...*what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?"*If we know how to give good gifts to our children, then doesn't the Father of all creation knows how to give good to His children when we asks?
By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion.
We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof.
For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.
How shall we sing the Lord's song in a strange land? -Psalm 137: 1-4**Trouble besets us all. No one is exempt. Yet, we that are in covenant with God, possess a remedy for tragedies.
We can sing in a strange land!**
"***If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." - 2 Chronicles 7:14
The p*rayers of the righteous can move mountains of difficulties and can break the yokes that binds.
The prayers of the righteous is the most effective and powerful tool we have in our arsenal against Satan and his demons.
The devil is powerless against the praying saint of God.**
And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: Genesis 3:14We can change our circumstances by changing our words.Satan is empowered when we wound others through our language or immoral and toxic thoughts.
Destructive, discouraging, and demeaning words feeds the devil.
The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
-Psalm 119:130The things you’ve been struggling to know; the things you been struggling to see; the doors that’s been closed to you; if you allow God to come in, He will give you understanding and clarity.
"And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me." Luke 9:23The time for change is now.
God is calling us to turn aside from that wide road of selfish entertainment and to follow Him on the narrow road that leads to abundant living now and everlasting life thereafter.
"...I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."
- John 10:10**There is peace and happiness in following Jesus. In the world you will have tribulation, but in Christ you will find joy. That type of joy the surpasses all understanding.
God wants you to trust Him with your tomorrows.**
God's Grace is sufficient for whatever you might encounter today and everyday.
As He holds the stars in the sky to keep them from falling, and holds back the waters of the seas, that they not overflow the land; surely He will uphold you, too. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. - 2 Corinthians 2:10
"The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble: and He knoweth them that trust in Him." Nahum 1:7**We can no more stop the evil that is spreading itself like a green bay tree, then we can stop the wind from blowing.
But we do have One who can abate evil and stop the wind from blowing.**
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
- Colossians 3:1-2
You don't have to live bound.
There is a remedy for your problems.
You can be free!
"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free". - John 8:32

- Proverbs 22:6Happy Mother’s Day to mothers everywhere. To those who raised their own children and to those who helped raised other people’s children.
**May this day be a day of great blessings and prosperity!!
God has chosen to use your hands to help shape and mold the world.**
The Bible tells us to raise up a child in the way that they should go, and when they are old they will not depart from it.
***I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. -John 15:1-2
We are not what we will be. In the fullness of time, God will reveal to you who you are in Him.*Every tragedy…every unfortunate happening…is nothing more than the gentle pressure of God’s hand shaping you into the person He purposed you to be in Christ Jesus.
All things: the good that has been, and the bad due of lack of judgment; God will use to work together for your good and His glory.
**Because Jesus rose, you can arise!!
God did not create you just so you could exist. There is a divine purpose for your existence. Jesus came that you might “live”. He rose that you might enjoy life abundantly.
Without Jesus, you are just existing. You were created to enjoy life to its’ fullest and to have it in abundance.*Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.*-John 12:24 (NIV)
The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
Psalm 18:10
**God wants His glory to fill the earth.
We are God's workmanship, created in His image and for His glory. We have been bought with a price; therefore, we are no longer our own.**
Navigating the complexities of life can be challenging and frustrating without the wisdom of God.
Knowing the will of God for your life, and doing God’s will, is the key to opening the door to your destiny. Great things await those who put their trust in the LORD.
It is not by our strength that we prevail; but it is through and by God that we get the victory.
If Black lives really matter, then why do you keep killing your sisters and brothers?
If you love me, then why do you keep hurting me?
Love doesn't kill.
The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
-Proverbs 18:10Over 25 years ago, the Lord said to me, “You don’t even know My Name.”
I was stunned. I had believed I did know His Name. I had studied my Bible. I attended Seminary. What did God mean by saying I didn’t “even” know His Name?
He did not just say, “I didn’t know His Name.” He inserted the adverb, “even” to emphasize my lack of knowledge. That in all my learning and getting, I still did not know Him.
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. - Matthew 5:14 -15Our lights are not shown so that the world might see us, but we show forth our light that the world might see God. We are the channel through which the righteousness of God is revealed.
Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved. -Matthew 9:17Jesus answered him, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless a person is born again [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified], he cannot [ever] see and experience the kingdom of God.” John 3:3 (AMP)
***"For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:" -James 1:23
We are God's ambassadors. When we enter a room; even before we speak, the Presence of God should be felt. You will encounter great hatred or much love.
And, when you speak, your conversation should show forth the kindness and love of Jesus.
Again, you will either encounter great hatred or much love.
Faced with hatred or love, your stand must be to glorify God. *Don't allow the troubles of today distort your view of who God is and what He requires of you.
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me…".

“Verily, Verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. - John 12:24
The presence of God is seen and experienced only when we come to the end of self.
Your peace, your prosperity, and your strength are predicated upon you wholly following Jesus.
**Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? John 11:25-26
In every Believer's life (and non-Believers') something dies. But death is not the end. Death is only the beginning. Unless we die, we will never experience God's glory!!
Do not let the loss of people, nor things, discourage you. God is up to something.
God wants to perfect that which concerns you. Be still and know that He is God!!**
"For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of the which is to come." 1 Timothy 4:8
While bodily exercise is good and beneficial, it does have its' limits, but training in holy living provides benefits without limitations.
Our relationship with God will not just bless us on this side of heaven, but will be with us throughout all eternity.
It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes. - Psalm 119:71
Trouble gets our attention.
“And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.” - Jeremiah 18:4
Brokenness is God’s Requirement for our uttermost usefulness.
· God will not use us until we have been broken.
· The sacrifices of God are a broken and repentant spirit.
“Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.” - Micah 7:8
Calamity visits everyone at one time or another. Do not faint because of the trouble that has come your way. No one is immune from adversity.
Yet sometimes our struggles are the result of the bad choices we made.
Nevertheless, if we turn back to God, He will forgive us our sins and heal the land.
God is a light to the humble and contrite in spirit.
“Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and His praise in the congregation of saints.” Psalm 149:1
God dwells in the praises of His people. And because He dwells there, praise becomes a weapon of defense in the mouth of God’s faithful.
Like a two-edged sword, praise has the power to inflict punishment upon the heads of our enemies.
The strength of praise can bind kings with chains and dignitaries with iron shackles.
Praise will bring restitution to the afflicted.
When you praise God in the midst of your trials and struggles, your walls of opposition will crumble and fall down.
Praise the LORD!!!
It is written:
**Have you not noticed that it is the loud and boisterous person that gets the attention of the majority.
But it is the meek and humble that God takes notice of.
Don't despise the days of small beginnings.
God is doing something.**
“Whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.” -Matthew 23:12
God desires that you prosper even as your soul prospers.
(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) - Philippians 3:18-19
Our accomplishments have no value if God is absent from our lives.
Like a fading flower, that which you worked so hard for, will cease to flourish.
Unless the LORD builds the house, your labor is in vain. For what does it benefit someone to gain the whole world and yet lose his life?
- Mark 8:36 (CSB)
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands. -Psalm 138:7-8**Life changing moments are unavoidable. They can be exceedingly challenging to endure. Intense trials have a way of knocking us off our feet...the pain and loss can be agonizing.
However, the LORD will not abandon the works of HIs hand. God will uphold you.**Don't despise the day of small beginnings. God is up to something!!!
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. -Isaiah 43:2
**Today, you might not feel the closeness of God’s presence, nor hear His voice, but I want you to know, God sees, and He hears.
You did not take a breath today that God didn’t know about. Not a bird falls to the ground with God knowing it. He knows the number of hairs on your head.
If it concerns you, it concerns God.
Difficult times will come, but God wants you to know, He is your strength for today.**
***Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. -Psalm 37:1
God doesn't want you getting upset and agitated by what your enemy does.
One day, you will look for them and they will be gone.*The recipe for living in peace in the midst of an unloving world is trusting God and doing what is good. Love you enemies and pray for those who hate you and persecute you. Then, watch God do a work on your behalf.
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, - Hebrews 12:1 **The race is not give to the swift, nor to the strong, but to those who endures until the end.
The joy in running this Christian race is not predicated on what we have but upon whom are serving. The race is easily endured when we let let go of what we want and put on what God requires.**
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear”.
The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? -Psalm 27:1The stars are always shining, but they are only visible to us when the night is most dark.
And, sometimes God’s Presence is most vivid to us during our moments of darkness, during those times of struggles.
There are some things in life that God teaches only in the dark classrooms of life.
Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you.**-2 Chronicles 20:17
God has called us to walk in victory. The battle is not yours but the Lord's, yet how do you get the victory in the midst of the chaos you are going through.
God has called us to a position. It's in the position that we get the victory.
The battle is the Lords's.**
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1 **Storms are inevitable. You will go through a storm.
Expect it. For this cause, Jesus has prepared a place for us.**
Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
- Deuteronomy 28:2**Your location in life does determine your success in life.
It's only through a relationship with Jesus that you can live successfully wherever life takes you.**
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: -1 Peter 4:12 **Don't be surprise at the fiery ordeal the has come along side you to test you. But, rejoice!
God is working something out in you and through you. This is for His glory and for your good.
Be still and know that God is God!!**
When life throws your lemons, make lemonade.
***And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. - Romans 8:28
Our God is a good God and a just God.
Nothing good will He ever withhold from you.***
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” - 2Chronicles 7:14
I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. John 12:46
Being in the dark about God’s purposes for your life will keep you forever living beneath your means.
In 2 Samuel 9, we have the story about a man name Mephibosheth, who was the grandson of King Saul, living in a lowly estate, in a place called Lodebar. He was serving people who should have been serving him, because he didn’t know whose he was. It was only after King David revealed unto him his real identity that he began to enjoy the privileges of kingdom living.
Doing what you believe is right will become plain as to what you are really doing, when what you are doing is seen in the light of God’s Word.
We see through a limited mindset. We believe in only what we know. We see in part, and we know in part, but when Jesus is come, we shall know fully.
**As high as the heavens are above the earth, so are God’s ways and thoughts higher than ours. It is only when we take what we know and bring it into the light of God’s Son: His Word, do we see our flaws.
Jesus came that we might enjoy the abundant life; a life overflowing with His goodness.**
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." -Matthew 11:28-30**God never intended for us to go this earthly journey alone.
If we had been able to love our enemies and to do good unto those who treats us despitefully, then there never would have been a need for Jesus to come and die for our sins.
If we were able to love without dissimulation, there never would have been a need for Jesus to make that ultimate sacrifice for our soul salvation.
Jesus came that we might live life abundantly; and that requires being in relationship with Him.**
"For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly." -Psalm 84:11
Suffering is inevitable. We live in a fallen world. We all were born in sin and because of that, we will have problems. But Jesus came and died for us to remove the penalty of sin. He came that we might live life abundantly. And, to do this, we must follow Him and trust His plans for us.
We can't put God in a box; believing that He should do things our way. In God's sovereignty and providence, He uses our circumstances (good or bad) to achieve His divine purposes in the earth and in us, and through us.
"The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. " **2 Peter 3:9
God has given us all things that pertains to life and godliness; however, we will never partake of His promises unless we pursue God first.**
God is immutable!! He changes not. Because of His kindness, we are not destroyed.
The Lord is my portion; therefore, I hope in Him.
The Lord is good to them that hope in Him and patiently waits on Him. Nothing good will God ever withhold from those who follows Him and trusts in Him.
Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He will perfect that which concerns you!!
***Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. -Matthew 5:43-58
Love does cover a multitude of sin...***
**We can be loosed from thoughts and habits that bind us. Jesus came that we might have life, and that we might have it more abundantly.
With Jesus, we can live life in overflow because it is through and by the anointing of the Holy Spirit that we are able to exceed the limits of what we can do:
"*Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we
ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us," - Ephesians 3:20The power of God working in us, and through us, enables us to do more than we could ever imagine. With God we can live life beyond measure; beyond the level of what we can do.When we break loose from the strongholds of Satan, we can soar to great heights.*
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” -Ephesian 2:10
Like rocks in a riverbed, made smooth by the continuous pressure of water, so are we changed by the continuous washing by the Word of God.
**We are God’s workmanship; created in His image, after His likeness (Genesis 1:26) and for His glory.
God has a plan and a purpose for your life. You are not in existence because of happenstance. Your beginning has no impact on your ending unless you permit it to.**
It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. -Lamentations 3:22-23
In life, you might be innocence, yet because of the wickedness of the nation in which you live, or the neighborhood around you, or even the home environment in which you abide; you, too, can suffer the fallout of God’s wrath.
Sin is far reaching. What we do can affect those around us.
Nevertheless; what you are going through will work out for your good, and God's glory.
Nothing good will God ever withhold from you.
Trust Him. This too, shall pass.
Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. -Psalm 91:14-16
"Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life." -Proverbs 4:23
Set a watch at your mind. If you are to have any peace, and any joy, then you must focus your attention on things above and not on things of this earth.
In the world we will have tribulation, but Jesus overcame the world. And, those who look to Him, have peace. His peace is not like the world's peace; a peace that is predicated on external circumstances, but a peace that surpasses all understanding.
***But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. -Romans 13:14
Your daily success begins with God. As you prepare for your day, start with Jesus.
Only what you do for God will last; all else will burn away.***
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. - Isaiah 43:2
"Save me, O God, for the waters have come up to my neck. I sink in the miry depths, where there is no foothold. I have come into the deep waters, the floods engulf me. I am worn out calling for help; my throat is parched. My eyes fail, looking for my God." -Psalm 69:1-3 (NIV)
**Why do the righteous suffer and the ungodly oppress those who fear the LORD?
Everyone at one time or another experiences undeserved suffering. The Bible tells us that the afflictions of the righteous are many, yet God will deliver us if we put our trust in Him.
Weeping may endure for a night, but those who trust in the LORD will be delivered.**
***Do not be agitated by evildoers; do not envy those who do wrong.
For they wither quickly like grass and wilt like tender green plants.
Psalm 37:1-2 (CSB)
In these challenging times, you can trust God with whatever it is that your are facing today.
He will keep you and protect you, if you put your trust in Him.
God is touched by your infirmities. He knows and He understands. Put your complete trust in Him, and He will give you the desires of your heart.
Patiently wait upon Him, and He will soon bring it to pass.
Trust Him with your tomorrows.***
***"But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up."
-- Matthew 24:43
It behooves us to be watchful! The time is now to set a watch in your homes; on your jobs; and in your neighborhoods; and even in your church. The devil is after your home.
If you allow him, Satan will steal your joy and rob you of your peace. He will turn your place of refuge into a battlefield.
The devil is after your home! Set a watch!!***
"O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. "
(Psalm 34:8)
Open wide your mouth, and God shall fill it!
To receive their nourishment, the baby bird must first open wide its' mouth.
For us to receive our petitions; we must open wide our hearts in faith towards God.
**God will fill out mouths with good things if we stay loyal to Him.
Obedience brings blessings.**
**Many Christians will declare that they are not ashamed of the Gospel, but are we really not ashamed?
Let's open our Bibles and view our lifestyles in the light of God's Word.**
Eve**ry Christian has been called into the ministry of reconciliation.
Our mandate from God is that we submit ourselves unto Him that He might live through us, and draw people from every nation unto Himself.
Are you ashamed of the Gospel?**
**There are benefits to praising God.
Through praise we receive forgiveness, healing, restoration, and God's lovingkindness and tender mercies.
The windows of heaven opens in our direction when we praise Him. God satisfies our mouth with "Good Things."*When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. -Isaiah 43:2*
**When the children of Israel entered the Promised Land, they entered onto a battlefield.
When you gave your life to Christ Jesus, you entered onto a battlefield.
It is written, "*Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all*." -Psalm 34:19
"Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you..." - 2 Chronicles 20:17
Words spoken seeks entrance into the hearts and minds of people everywhere. If receptiveness is found, “that word” will gain a foothold and establish an atmosphere for wider acceptance.
Be it for good or for evil.
**How we respond, determines the culture in which we live.
Be it for good or for evil.
Whatever spirit is predominant; our response is to either feed it…or starve it.**
It is written, "... Resist the devil and he will flee from you." -James 4:7
A refreshing word of encouragement and strength for mothers everywhere.
**Being a mother is not something God called you to do alone. Do not despair. God is with you, and He has heard your cry.
He sees your child, and if you abide in Him, and His Word abides in you, God will abide with your child, too.**
Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.
-Psalm 27:11
**Several passages in the book of Psalm reveals the writer's desire to be taught God's precepts.
When you purposely seek to follow God, you will hear Him. And, when you hear Him, He will guide you. The steps of the righteous are ordered by God.
Victorious living is the product of following Jesus; for it is God's Word gives that gives us the wisdom to make wise choices.**
**It's the things in which we do not understand, that nourishes us the most.
It doesn't taste good; and sometimes, it surely doesn't feel good, yet it is that which does us the most good.
Sometimes to get the healing or relief that we need, we must go through some distasteful things.**
And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live. - Deuteronomy 8:3Don't despise the day of small beginnings.
Do you want the favor of God on your life?

***As fine jewelry enhances the wardrobe, let mercy and truth adorn you.
Live life so that the world might be drawn to the priceless treasure of Christ in you.
Favor and good understanding is the product of mercy and truth.***

We can learn from plants how seeds can be planted…
Plants make seeds that can grow into new plants, but if the seeds just fall to the ground under the parent plant, they might not get enough sun, water or nutrients from the soil.
Therefore, God created other means of transportation for these seeds, called dispersal…some plants are moved or dispersed by the storms that we have: such as wind, fire, and explosions.
The next time you are in a stormy, fiery, or explosive situation, Put a Seed in the Ground...
You have been chosen to glorify God. Today is your day to make a favorable difference . Be willing to add to your environment, and not take away from it. Make today count!
Obstacles can become a hinderance to your destiny when you allow frustrations to become the gauge by which you live.
Overcome frustrations by relying on the Word of God.
**Good gave no armor for His soldier's back because we are to always face our enemy.
Don' be afraid off the devil; the devil is afraid of you. The Bible says, "...*the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devou***r:" -1 Peter 5:8
He's roaring loud but has no teeth. Jesus took the sting out of death. No longer are we in bondage. We are free; and not just free, but God has given us authority over the wiles of Satan.
If Christ is in you, you are more than a conqueror. You can do all things through Christ Jesus.
It's time to quit living in defeat. Stop running...**
**Peace is not the absent of war, but serenity in the midst of war.
We will never be totally free of chaos and tribulations as long as we abide in time. Complete peace is begotten only as we transition from time into eternity with Jesus Christ.
Yet, God has given us the remedy for "His peace" while we live in this world.*"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto
you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." *-John 14:27
The world's way to peace is won by strength and a sword.
Jesus' way is by suffering and dying...**
**Want change for a better tomorrow? Then change how you see all people and proceed to treat others as you want others to treat you.
There are no perfect people, but we do serve a perfect God. It is only by allowing Jesus to live through us, can we make a positive impact in the lives of people everywhere.
Love is not selfish, but kind and considerate. Love is forgiving: it really does cover a multitude of sins.**
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. -**1 John 4:18
Only by believing that God loves you, can you live in peace, and live worry-free.**
In 1 John 4:18, we are told, "There is not fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear has torment**..."
If Christ is with you, then you have no need to fear; who can stand against our God?
God will take care of you; not because you are perfect, but because you have set your face to seek Him. He will provide for you; not because you deserve it, but because He loves you.
When you remember that God is in charge of your life, then you have no need to battle with anxiety and fear.
Jesus wants us to cast our cares upon Him because He really cares for us.**
Trials will come. Suffering is inevitable. Yet, in the midst of whatever happens, we have an anchor in God. He is our peace in the midst of every storm. He is our covering against every attack. Trust God with your tomorrows.
God has already empowered you to, "...have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." (Genesis 1:26).
God created you in His image, and blessed you. God forth today...and be fruitful and multiply. Replenish the earth with God's Presence. Make an impact in the world for God. And, subdue it!! Take back what the enemy has stolen!!!
God did not create you for trouble and sorrow, but for His glory and your happiness. You were not made to just function, but to live life abundantly. And that can only be, if you are following Jesus. Jesus is the life; without Him there is no living. Jesus is the truth; it is thought knowing God that one is freed from living in bondage. And, He is the way - it is only through Christ Jesus that you will ever achieve ultimate satisfaction in living.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
- Proverbs 3:5-6
When chaos reigns and trouble abounds, there is security in the presence of the Lord. There is safety in serving God. "Behold, the eye of the LORD us upon them that fear Him, upon them that hope in His mercy." - Psalm 33:18
Success begins in the mind. Your outlook on life reveals your destiny. As you think in your heart, so are you. You will never change your circumstances until you change how you see your circumstances. If you don't like what you see, then change how you think.
You might not be able to change your circumstances, but you can change how you perceive your circumstances.
The answer to your problem is closer than you think.
As you start your new year, start it out on the right foot.
Start with Jesus. When we seek first the will of God; then do we prosper and have good success.
