After crashing into the country scene with their hit song "Carolina" in 2013, Parmalee have found themselves at the top of the charts again in 2021. Their song "Just The Way" featuring Blanco Brown is a certified platinum country/pop mega hit. It's featured on their album 'For You' that was released in July. Our station Q104 is one of the first stations in the country to play their new single "Take My Name" & I think it's gonna be another smash. We talk how they came together as a group & "Tamata Bisquits"...

Tater got to catch up with Jordan Davis while he stopped in KC. Hopped on the tour bus and got in a great episode.
We talked life during quarantine, fatherhood, new music that's coming and his newest single "Buy Dirt".
We also chatted about football (Tater and Jordan are Saints fans) and we find out why Jordan thinks Patrick Mahomes
is the best football player in the NFL.

Episode Eight - Shy Carter
This week Todd and Tater are excited to hang with producer/songwriter/artist Shy Carter. His journey to Music City is anything but boring. From producing for rapper Nelly, writing for Rob Thomas, having his first country number one with Sugarland and then putting out his own music via Warner Music Nashville. Oh and we can't forget writing multiple number one hits with his buddy Kane Brown (Good As You) (Heaven). His debut single to radio, "Good Love" is such a great message and needs to be heard. This week Todd and Tater catch up with Lainey Wilson. Lainey is a bell bottom wearing fiery young lady ready to take the country world by storm. She just released her debut album Sayin' What I'm Thinkin' via Broken Bow Records. We chat about her first songwriting credit in Music City was a Luke Combs song, how a childhood dream of playing the Opry came true recently and how her hometown has a connection with the Tiger King. Also, Lainey was one of the last performers Todd & Tater got to see before the pandemic hit. All that and some laughs during our latest episode of 'Behind The Strings'.
