In Luke 4:14-30 Jesus returns to Nazareth his home town and is welcomed to teach in the Synagogue. After reading from Isaiah 61 Jesus announces that the prophecy is fulfilled in their hearing. They begin to speak well of Him, yet the passage ends with them trying to kill Him by throwing Him off a cliff. What happened to cause these people of Jesus' home town to turn on Him so suddenly?
