In this episode I have the opportunity to speak to Elder David and Sister Janis Rowberry, Both are tremendous mentors and friends. I've only know them a short while, but have learned so much with every encounter I've had. Currently they serve in Salt Lake City as service missionaries in the church office building. Their focus is on identifying and providing online service opportunities. 'They both have such fascinating life stories, branching from a career in the military, becoming a licensed therapist, & serving as missionaries in Africa.
In this episode I have the pleasure of speaking to Elder Lane McGhee and Elder Charles and Sister Therese Steadman join me. All three have been a big part of my missionary experience and service. Elder and Sister Steadman the missionary leaders over the Tempe Chandler Service Mission which I currently serve in. and Elder McGhee is currently serving in Salt Lake his focus is on service missionary learning and development. We get to talk about so many unique and spiritual experience that we have experienced in the course of our service. As well as how we can all be disciples of Christ. I’m eager to jump in and I hope you are as well because this is going to be a good one.
Today I’m going to be talking to my good friend Eldon Haymore. Eldon and I have known each other since we were little kids. every time we hang out, I learn a little bit more about him. Eldon originally was called on a church mission to Singapore which I’m certain we will learn more about today, however once Covid hit, he was evacuated and brought back to the states where him and I had the opportunity to connect and serve together in the same mission here in Arizona. Never did I think I would have such a wonderful opportunity, but I’m so glad I did. If you like comradery, adventure, and the language of Iban than this is the episode for you.
I met Matthew about a month ago at a birthday party. He instantly captivated my attention with his positive energy and personality. he was so kind and asked so many thoughtful and deep questions I knew I had to get to know more about him. He has had some neat experiences, that I only heard parts of while at this party. So I’m excited to hear the full story for the first time as well. Matthew is a wonderful new friend, and I think by the end of this you too will want to be his friend as well.
Lund Johnson is the type of person everyone needs in their life. A teacher a friend and a follower of Christ, Lund has inspired me and countless others in his lifelong adventures as a religion teacher. I honestly cannot think of a time Where I was in a room with Lund, and didn’t learn something fascinating and perspective changing. He currently hosts a video show called Lightbulb Moments with Lund where he shares inspired religious messages. He is incredible and I’m excited for you to get to know a little bit more about him.
