Jackie Feminella at Senior Frontend Engineer at Guru Technologies.

I started my career in television production and then in technical recruiting. About two years out of college, I found Software Engineering, switched careers again, and have been in this field for 5 years now. Something that I learned from the get-go was that experiencing Imposter Syndrome is normal and widespread, especially in this field. However, I often felt that I was on my own in figuring out how to actually combat those imposter thoughts.

A couple of years into my engineering career, I remembered Carol Dweck's research on Growth Mindset from studying Psychology in college. Over time, I've begun to leverage Growth Mindset habits and found myself more comfortable in the unknown of each new challenge, even when I feel Imposter Syndrome thoughts creep up.

In this chat, I want you to walk away with:

  • What a Growth versus Fixed Mindset is
  • Specific tips to foster Growth Mindset thoughts and habits
  • How a Growth Mindset can help you in your career

In this chat, we want you to walk away with:

  • Recommendations on what criteria to evaluate when thinking about your next career move

Today the UN estimates that 2/8 working women are victims of domestic violence, which means that statistically speaking most companies will be confronted with the issue (even more so after the sharp rise worldwide in domestic violence cases as a cause of the COVID19 pandemic). Domestic violence is a workplace issue and therefore workplaces need to have policies and programs to best respond and assist victims in the workplace. Preventing victims of domestic violence also means protecting women from losing their jobs and facing financial insecurity on top of domestic violence, thereby preserving their livelihood freedom, and lives. Therefore companies need to have the appropriate policies and practices to accompany and refer victims of domestic violence (that includes paid/unpaid leave, security protection, job security, etc). Large companies such as Facebook, L'Oréal, and Vodafone already have put such policies into place.

We will discuss how domestic violence affects women in the workplace and how companies can best address the issue to respond in the most effective manner

The chat will delve into best practices and the report that I have worked on with Dentons, Kering, and Thomson Reuters that compares international best practices on measures to put in place to protect victims of domestic violence in the workplace.

The report is accessible here:

I had thought that my background in science and specialty in complex contracting at law firms prepared me to be an expert in-house attorney. It wasn't until I joined the startup world that I realized that my expertise couldn't just live in a vacuum. I've learned the key to success in any organization is working across cross-functional teams effectively. In other words, it's crucial to work with people from different functional areas of the company (for example, Engineering, Marketing, Product, Business Development, Customer Success), and understand how these individual team goals contribute to the organization's overall mission and goals.

In this chat, I want you to walk away with:

  • Confidence in how to interact with functional leaders and manage their expectations
  • How to keep common goals in mind while working with functional teams on their departmental goals
  • Tools for collaboration and building trust, respect, and willingness from cross-functional teams
  • Tips for effective communication across teams, understanding how to approach and work with individuals stakeholders

Companies often limit or assign the “people” related activities to the HR team, expecting them to “be responsible” for building their culture. But HR teams alone can't build community or culture for a company. Great cultures come from a group of people united in a shared mission.

In this talk, I will share some stories and practical advice for companies and HR teams on how to foster a sense of belonging internally in remote and remote/hybrid work environments.

This talk will give practical and simple tips to execute programs. We'll also work on a framework that will help you create alignment and belonging for all employees.

I’m the daughter of a refugee whose family was tortured and executed in his native country, then arrived in the United States only to build a life plagued with targeted anti-Asian violence that continues to escalate today. Overcoming systemic oppression and inherited generational trauma is a lifelong marathon, not a sprint -- this is a mantra that I carry with me as I build my own life and career. As a woman of color in the tech industry, finding ways to advocate for myself and my colleagues is a continuous process.

In this chat, I want us to reflect on:

  • Leading with empathy and vulnerability

I get asked a lot of questions on breaking or pivoting into tech and almost in all those questions lies doubts and misconceptions about the stereotypes who have made it in tech. Candidates are busy wordsmithing their resumes or trying to get a referral and network without meaningful results. My question to you is - Have you thought about flipping the question around and asking yourself how likely doing the same things again and again should give you different results. So I set out to reframe the classic Chicken & Egg Problem of "No experience, no role & no role; no experience" conundrum to help jobseekers solve this.

In this chat and learn, I want you to walk away with:

  • Actionable steps you can start taking today to kickstart your journey in a tech career that won't cost you money

Networking goes to the very heart of who we really are, how we feel about ourselves, and the toxic messages that hold us back. Since I was a young girl I heard about meditation, however it seemed something esoteric and far from my reach. For many years I read books on the subject but still did not understand how to practice or explore my inner world. After many years of study and search, I finally started to understand from my own practice what meditation is along with experiencing many of its benefits.

One of my biggest struggles was allowing myself to show up as my biggest and brightest self. What held me back was the situations that I faced growing up that made me feel a loss of love and connection with my fellow humans. I had to go through my own process of discovering love, building belonging, and then helping others to build belonging as well. I began this work through crafting my own equity lens and helping others do the same. We are here to live our truth and love our lives.

In this chat I want you to walk away with:

I wouldn’t be where I am today without my network of connections, advocates, and sponsors. While mentorship plays a tremendous role in guiding our journey, that’s just one piece of the puzzle. There are “career boosters” all around us. My favorites come in the form of an advocate to shine a light on your value, a supportive community, and a healthy dose of self-promotion.

  • Women helping women: raising each other up

Initially, I always assumed technology was used to do good - solve problems to the challenges humanity faces. I never realized that there is a dark side of technology and how deep the roots go. You see, none of us is born choosing their race, gender, citizenship and many other things that define us that we have no control of. Technology has contributed to making life easier through things like using mobile money, shopping online, making robotics arms for the disabled etc. However, technology has also been used to discriminate, using those very things that define us, to deny access to opportunities, services, control power and to commit other injustices/unfair practices.

In this chat, I want you to walk away with:

  • Examples of how Al can be discriminatory

I found a career path which I loved, but how could I thrive with 2 special needs toddlers and no support system? The first step was the hardest: tuning out the negative voices and telling myself "you can do this because failure is not an option." The trick was taking things one day at a time so I wouldn't get overwhelmed by the sheer number of steps I had to take to get through the day. I don't know if I would have succeeded had I not been so passionate about Email Deliverability. While I often felt overwhelmed by the ongoing challenges in my life, I found satisfaction and a sense of control in a career path that enabled me to fix problems quickly. As I solved more problems for my clients, I gained strength and confidence, which helped me develop more skills to advocate for my children's needs. My sons are in their 20's now and one of them even worked for Salesforce for 2.5 years. I have a thriving career in Deliverability and every challenge I overcame has made me a better person.

In this chat, I want you to walk away with:

  • Actionable steps you can take to drown out negativity
  • The importance of keeping your eye on the prize

Imagine waking up in the morning, and instead of rushing up to the office, you open your laptop, make your breakfast and start your working day, as you want, wherever you want and how you want. Is this possible?

Kelly and Anina work with clients every day to help them re-design their lives and many are focused on remote work life with no plans of looking back. While there are more opportunities for ‘remote work’ being offered by companies their definitions and practices may differ.

Working remotely, means you have control of your schedule, of your tasks and you are in charge of your progress. In other words, it means you are in control of your own work life.

Remote work is NOT office life in your home. Remote work allows you to organize your work sessions around the life you choose.

Block your calendar, take a break and go for a walk, turn off notifications and stop living on-call all day to react immediately to every message. Stop waiting for time when you can focus and create it, structure your day around you. Manage your calendar, don’t let it manage you. Your job doesn't own you, you own your job and you‘re more than just a job.

You’ll learn realistic examples and expectations for:

  • How to design your remote work life?
  • Where to find remote opportunities?
  • You got that remote job, now what?

If I didn't enjoy a particular class, did that mean perhaps I wasn't meant to be in this field? Years later, when my husband and I decided to expand our family beyond our dog, I had a desire to stay home with our first child. Would my career have to wait? Could I do both [well]? Would I be able to hop back in if I took time off? Over time, I've been able to reflect on the decisions I've made and hone my ability to weigh the trade-offs in choices life presents. Self-doubt, especially as a woman in tech, doesn't magically disappear one day...but like so many other aspects of life, you can learn how to take control of it.

“Being a boss” and delegating tasks is just micromanagement in disguise. In my experience, I learned that the inclusion of ideas - and empowerment of the people around me - really did produce better outcomes. Then again, how can one actually get to the promotion ladder of empowering people, when the promotion ladder is so hard to reach with nowaday's function of the corporate world? Obviously, it's easier to leave Senior Designers at their Senior positions, give them some leadership tasks and delay their promotions, until it's completely inevitable. Or so one might think.

I've struggled a lot with those, and not only, outcomes of the corporate design world and I've come to the conclusion that we all need a framework that we could use to combat micromanagement and corporate professional outcomes - a framework I'd like to call Purposeful Ignorance.

As a Director of Product Management in the Cyber Security Industry, part of differentiating my product wasn't just the security that it brings, but also the value, usability and confidence the product gave to customers. Understanding what customers need is a challenge and it's not always what you might think it is. Sometimes as product managers we might rush to conclusions and create a feature when there is no user on the other end for it.

In this session I will answer:

  • How to approach product management with the customer in mind
  • What tools you can leverage to do so
  • How to adopt a customer centric approach when building a product

We are living in a time where all of us are waking up to what’s happening in the world. And as we awaken as WOC, each of us is being called to reconsider our views on what power and success really mean. We’re being challenged to look at our families, organizations and institutions and within those halls -who has been entitled to achieve versus who hasn’t.

We are being invited to revisit what we thought was “true” about things we’ve taken for granted—from the quality of our leadership to the potential of our children. But nowhere are we more challenged, or more called, than in how we’re being forced to look at ourselves—who we are versus who we want to be. We’re being asked to defy the odds and push against the status quo in honor of a more authentic and powerful existence. But do we really have permission?

In this provocative conversation, we will share about:

  • The importance of community
  • The need to create brave, safe, new spaces to harness our collective power,to align with our purpose, and to lead as our whole selves

  • Aprender a priorizar.
  • Cómo optimizar tus tiempos con diferentes proyectos.

Several years ago as a new technical manager, I would dread our Monday morning staff meetings, which were comprised of 7 men and me. Each week I would listen to the men talk over each other for an hour, and I would leave without saying a word. I was operating under a story that everyone knew as much or more than I did; that my voice was not additive. One Monday on the drive in, a different thought occurred to me: I trusted myself. There was no way these other people knew any more than me, but they were taking the lion's share of the time, resources, and mobility available to us in that space. I decided to change my behavior and say whatever thoughts occurred to me, without editing. And here's what happened: some of it was received by the group, and some of it wasn't. Sometimes I wasn't challenged, sometimes I wasn't. The important thing was that I spoke up. I got to know my own voice, and with practice it has let me hone my story and my style. Fast forward a few years and I am able to influence a room not just of men, but executives, investors, and clients.

Storytelling is a powerful tool. But the stories we tell ourselves are perhaps the most powerful tool we have in achieving our goals and vision. What stories are you telling yourself that are self-defeating or operating out of limitation? How might you recognize these stories? How might you change them?

In this Q&A I'll plan to cover:

  • How to uncover and articulate your personal story
  • How to identify stories you are telling yourself, approach them with curiosity, and evaluate their value
  • How to articulate your story to others at work and in life
  • How good storytelling influences others

Imagine this: you show up for an in-person interview. Prior, you made sure your technology worked, joined the virtual meetings early, and made sure the space around you was clean, organized and quiet. You were dressed professionally and ready with notes and questions. You made eye contact, addressed each question as best as you could, and tried to include unique examples from your past experiences any chance you could get.

Sounds about right? If only.

This is likely what’s running through your mind: My interview starts in 10 minutes and I am starting to feel anxious. I think I am prepared, but I really wish I knew what they were going to ask me.

If the second scenario is ringing a bell, this is the conversation for you. I, Steve, will be bringing my insights and tips as a hiring manager and I, Kelly, will be bringing my insights as a recent hire to Waters during a global pandemic.

We want you to walk away from this Chat & Learn with:

  • The best tips to prepare for (and ace) your next virtual interview
  • Strategies for making your application stand out amongst the rest
  • Insights from the people who are/have been involved in the process

For many beginners in the data analytics field, the first analytics project can be challenging, because there seems to be an ocean of information from various scattered sources, all sounding important.  Although there is no end to learning, there is a generalized template that everyone could use to get started (and ship!)  It is all about walking through the entire process. Hopefully, you can walk away from this session with a better understanding of what you need to focus on to deliver a satisfactory first project.

I will cover the following steps:

  • Objective and scope: What makes a meaningful analysis?
  • Data wrangling: it’s less scary than you think; what do I need to do?
  • Exploratory Analysis: What are the steps and how do I evaluate them?
  • Visualization: What do I need to present?
  • Recommendation: What does your boss care to know?

I used to find it hard to talk about my achievements. This tug-of-war between showing humility and showcasing my accomplishments played out daily in my professional and personal life. When it was time for me to advance my career, I’ve realised that if I wanted to be recognised for my work and become visible for opportunities, I had to fight through the discomfort and so I decided to learn and practise the art of self promotion. And guess what? Over time, I have increased the impact and visibility of my work and, as a result, more opportunities were open to me! I felt so passionate about this and compelled to help others believe in themselves and speak vocally about their achievements, and decided to train as a facilitator of #IamRemarkable, a Google initiative empowering women and underrepresented groups to celebrate their achievements in the workplace and beyond. Now I am able to help others all around the world understand that talking about their accomplishments is a skill that can and should be learnt.

In this chat, you'll walk away with:

Actionable steps, including practical exercises and tools, to build a habit of effective and authentic self-promotion to increase your self-development and impact of your work;

A healthy dose of self-belief: an opportunity to recognise your remarkable attributes – small & big- and use imposter syndrome to your advantage

The ability to challenge the social perception around self-promotion, including modesty norms and unconscious biases, and become a force of change in your own organisation- help create a diverse, inclusive workplace.

You may think of Blue Cross NC as a health insurance company, but we are so much more than that. Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of our customers and communities. That starts with addressing non-medical factors called drivers of health – access to food, transportation, and housing. Think about it – if you don’t have consistent access to healthy, quality food, you don’t have a way to get to and from work/school, or you don’t have a safe, stable home, then those barriers need to be addressed before anything else.

You’ll hear from Cheryl Parquet and Tia Bass who are passionate about this topic. Cheryl was fortunate to grow up and experience life in a small town, but she also knows firsthand the struggles her community faced. When she became part of the solution at Blue Cross NC to invest in drivers of health, she was overjoyed with how our partnerships would make positive impacts on people in rural communities, like her hometown. Tia’s entire career and formal training has been dedicated to keeping people from getting sick and promoting healthy behaviors. In her role as an Analytics Consultant she uses data to understand the root cause of barriers that impact health and create interventions in partnership with our community programs that make a real difference in people’s lives.

As we continue to focus on drivers of health, it’s important for us to understand how health equity affects us all. Increasing health equity increases the opportunity for all to live the healthiest life possible.

In this chat, you’ll learn:

  • The importance of addressing food insecurity
  • How data can inform investment and intervention strategies
  • Community investments and programs that improve the health of vulnerable communities

At the time that I joined a then “Big 8” accounting firm in Detroit, Michigan, there was one Black female partner in an office of close to 1000 professionals (Deloitte & Touche, 1991, Betty Maple); and she was in tax, not audit. It never occurred to me that I would remain at the firm for more than a year or two since I had no indication that someone like me could succeed there. Fortunately, two of my professors planted the seed that I should consider returning for a PhD. And even more important, The PhD Project launched as I started the third year of my PhD program so that I had a network and the support that I needed to complete it. In 1994, I was one of the 175 minority doctoral students in business schools across the country. Today, I am one of the 1346 faculty.

You will walk away from this chat with:

  • An understanding of why you should pursue the PhD program you’ve been considering
  • The link between diverse education and diverse professionals
  • How you can apply to The PhD Project

Did you know one in every five children in the U.S. comes from a Latino home? I believe these children deserve to see themselves in books, film, media, and all forms of storytelling helping to instill self-love and stimulate learning.

There are too few books, media, and content that speak to our communities. While the Latino student population is rising, they see themselves in their curriculum materials and other classroom resources.

I wanted to do something for my daughters to see both themselves and their mother’s childhood memories on the pages of a storybook. Storytelling helps to keep our culture alive, and I’m grateful to be part of a broader community of creators developing content that will inspire the future generation.

You will walk away from this chat with:

  • An understanding about how you can help your children learn to love themselves, and their cultural heritage and backgrounds
  • Tips on finding content that is representative of your family and children
  • Strategies for how to use storytelling to help your child understand your story, and build a deeper appreciation for your culture

In July of 2018 life was perfect as I knew it...everyone was healthy, going about our daily life, etc. On a picture-perfect day in the Summer of 2018, while sitting on a boat with my sister, we talked about our future and retirement, little did I know that life would completely change about a month later.

My mammogram was scheduled August 1st, 2018, 1 year and 1 day exactly after my July 2017 exam. I had every excuse to postpone it being that the July 2017 mammogram came back normal, but I did NOT. The results from my August 2018 mammogram were normal besides a dense tissue and cyst in my left breast. Although I had to go back to get a sonogram, the callback was not concerning to me at all. After all, I have zero family history, I exercise 4 days per week, I JUICE, I breastfed my kids, I never smoked, I don’t drink alcohol. Every question on the medical questionnaire that might indicate something was a big ‘no’.

Then, my doctor confirmed my worst fears. In August of 2018 my life took a turn for the worst. On August 22nd, I received the call that I had breast cancer. This was not what I was expecting in the prime of my life, but I am here to share my survival story and share some key information about early detection.

I want you to walk away from this chat with:

  • An understanding that breast cancer doesn’t discriminate
  • Tips on what you should look out for

Making new friends as an adult is just like deciding what to make for dinner; it’s surprisingly (and almost universally) difficult and tedious, and no one ever seems to talk about the struggle! And if you thought making new social connections was tough, try adding the pressure of maintaining professionalism and it’s suddenly easy to understand why the art of introductions and referrals seems so murky! But Kelly Kugler, Founder & President of Allora Collective, is here to demystify this process AND help us understand how to make and use connections like this to our professional advantage!

Kelly is happy to share her expertise, but be sure to bring your questions so you can take full advantage of her knowledge! Your pre-submitted questions (during registration and leading up to the event) will help direct the direction of this chat, but you can expect to leave with these key takeaways:

I used to see this as good luck, or being at the right place at the right time - and of course there are elements of both. But I realize now that there are things we can do to make these kismet moments happen for ourselves - namely cultivating a community of supporters, putting intention out to our network, being able to effectively ask for what we need.

It had been a while since I felt joy or a great passion to do anything. I would wake up, unwillingly open my laptop for work but even at the end of the day, I could get almost nothing done. I tried meditation and exercise but after a moment of calm, it all came back. I tried being positive, grateful and tried living in the moment. Not being able to do any of this successfully, I felt guilty of being an ungrateful wretch only to realize my problem was much bigger than this and meditation alone would not save me.

The United States 2020 presidential election has been declared "The most important election in U.S. history" by Biden supporters, Trump supporters, historians and the media alike. The estimation is that 4 in 10 eligible voters did not note in the 2016 presidential election, putting the United States far behind most developed countries when it comes to voter participation. "My vote doesn't matter" and "I don't know how" are the most common excuses that I hear from that forty percent, both within the United States and abroad, the first simply being untrue and the latter 100% solvable with the right resources. I never liked the word "no". In fact, my father often told me that, as a child, he was fascinated by the fact that I rarely used the term as an act of rebellion like most children did. The word "no" has always conjured negative and self-deprecating feelings in me and, so, I avoided it like a plague, whether hearing it used by others, or in my own vocabulary. Nevertheless, after several years of being a professional actress I have changed my relationship with a word I once feared the most. I did this by recognizing the immense value of “No” and the favorable power it can bring to my life.

Increasingly, more and more people are seeking a greater level of flexibility and a better work/life balance in their jobs. In the quest for these coveted work benefits, many people are shunning traditional 9-to-5 roles in favor of part-time opportunities. Sometimes, employees may be disappointed to find that a part-time role doesn’t carry with it the same level of strategic responsibility or challenges as their full-time work, which can be frustrating in some instances.

In founding SoapWorks, I realized that people were the secret sauce to any success. I could not build a $100M company on my own. I said yes to everything! While I’ve had some amazing one-of-a-kind experiences, I’ve endured even more unnecessary stress from chronic over-committing. To get my groove back, I learned to break the cycle of yes related stress. One of the major issues I had to overcome was my own perception of saying, ‘no’. ‘No’ seemed negative, final, and harsh. Enter what I like to call the constructive ‘no’. Similar to constructive criticism, the constructive ‘no’ allowed me to engage with how I wanted to commit my time and energy in a more active, participatory way.

  • Method for evaluating what to say ‘no’ to

Back in 2017, I found myself depressed. Fresh out of a toxic relationship, with a failed vintage boutique, a mountain of debt, and an impounded car. I am a product of extreme generational poverty and I somehow became what I swore I'd never become. A single mom in the food-stamp line. I got a job at Starbucks because it was in walking-distance & may as well done so with a bag over my head, I was so ashamed. I so desperately wanted to leave my reality behind and create something bigger. I felt a tugging at my heart that there was something bigger meant for me. This couldn't be it. So I jumped in and fought for the life I wanted.

  • A newfound friendship with fear and imposter syndrome. You can work together!

Snapchat is known for ephemerality, aka disappearing messages. But what happens when messages don’t disappear? We’re not talking about silly pictures or overly expressive chats, we’re talking about messages around whose voice gets heard and who gets a seat at the table. Admitting to being less than perfect is hard for most people, but for a female in IT in the financial industry, it is one of my biggest fears.

For a large portion of my career, I worked hard to appear confident and knowledgeable in all settings, never letting my inexperience show. Then, I became the COO for a newly created Digital Division of a large financial services company. My main mission as Digital COO was to change the culture of the organization to be more nimble, to value progress over perfection, to encourage micro decision making, to test hypotheses and to applaud every failure. It was here, that I realized these values don’t just apply to organizations, they apply to people as well. By showing my inexperience, by asking questions, by asking for help, and by marrying all of that with my personality, leadership style and experience – I have been able to adopt a growth mindset, which in turn has allowed my career to flourish, branching out into areas of both technology and business that I never thought possible.

Out of this chat, I hope you walk away with the following:

  • For teams you are leading: Learn how to create a short, tight cycle of hypothesize, test and learn. Applaud every “failure” in order to find the learnings and growth that emerge. Pivot often and embrace the mantra, “If you don’t try, you never succeed.”
  • For yourself: Learn to ask questions, to ask for help, to rely on others and to be comfortable being uncomfortable. Value the foundation of experience you have built and use it to branch beyond. Pivot often and embrace the saying, “If you don’t try, you never succeed.”

  • BE INVOLVED in the conversation and when appropriate ask them how their question applies to their team or the role. [You don’t have to wait until the end to ask questions nor do you need permission!]
  • CONTROL WHAT YOU CAN by setting up your environment to be as comfortable as possible and help yourself to be confident.
  • IT’S ALL ABOUT THE VOICE because our voice leads our energy and attitude. A secret to keeping your voice positive is to smile which naturally (for most of us) makes the inflections of our voice perk up. Keep a picture or something that makes you happy in your eye line as a reminder to maintain your positive energy with a smile.

Now 2 years into my career, I’ve noticed not many people talk about their emotions openly, let alone grief. As a marketer, I’m used to mostly thinking of solutions; however, grief can’t be fixed. It's about healing and for each person that is a different journey. So, I wanted to find a way to talk about my experience of grief whilst working because so many of us go through it; sometimes in secret.

Hopefully, we can all learn to be more comfortable with the uncomfortable.

From this talk, I want you to walk away with;

  • Understanding the relationship between grief and stress
  • Constructive ways to cope with grief while working
  • Importance of self-compassion through it all

As I began my journey aspiring to be a great leader for my team, in a fast-paced, tech startup, I realized early into my leadership journey that people are used to thinking one can only be strong in either, this or that and not both. I call it “setting expectations in binaries”. How can the same person be —social AND task-oriented? Empathetic for her colleagues AND be radically candid? Intuitive about decisions AND be data-centric? Kick-ass and warm-and-fuzzy? If that sounds familiar, you also know questioning the status quo is easier said than done. I will share with you the frameworks that I use to bring my entire self to work so that I can play to my strengths despite social norms.

In this chat, I want you to walk away with:

  • A framework to list your strengths and perform from a place of abundance to find success.
  • How to take yourself from mediocrity to a stage where they cannot ignore you.
  • How to get comfortable with your vulnerabilities to break the glass ceiling and achieve greatness.

Many engineers will come to a crossroad in their career between the 5 and 10 years of experience mark. They will inevitably be faced with a major decision that will impact the rest of their career. They must decide:

  1. Do I continue doing the same work, deliver the same content for the same compensation?
  2. Do I use my experience gained to train, mentor and coach others in their career by moving to management?
  3. Do I dive deeper and broader into technical areas to solve more complex and difficult technical issues that affect not only individual, group, or companies but impact the entire industry as a whole?

I chose option #3 and can share my insights on that journey. This PowerToFly Chat & Learn will be a good opportunity for others to chime in with their journeys in the hope to help those who are currently at the crossroad.
