I am a radio girl from head to toe! As we approached International Women's Day, I raised my hand immediately to talk to women who I admire and are experts in their craft. Every woman I interview is unique in their own way and love their lives. These unique stories have brought me to recognize women truly love big, laugh loud and cheer on the next generation as if they stand in a stadium by themselves. I proudly celebrate the women of Central PA!

Let me introduce to the future! Gabby and Faith Kerchner have been collecting bears for the Hershey Bears Bear Toss for 9 years. But collecting just sounds so minimal considering all the work the put in for the entire year! Storing, collecting, counting and then the ultimate pay-off of donation!
This is the first time I interviewed under the age of 25 and for good reason I chose Gabby. She is 13 and collected more Bears than anyone I know! And now her sister Faith is keeping the message going!
Gabby wanted to share her acts of kindness with others so we set up this page. She hopes you are all inspired to be kind to each other and share that here.

According to Wikipedia Juneteenth is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans. It is also often observed for celebrating African-American culture. Originating in Galveston, Texas, it has been celebrated annually on June 19 in various parts of the United States since 1865.
I sat down with the Harrisburg Chapter of Young Professionals of Color (YPOC). Our conversation went a bit deeper then the Celebration itself. In fact, the conversation explored avenues for which I may never understand, because I didn't live in their shoes. What I can say is platforms like mine give other people a chance to listen and hopefully inspire.
Interview includes:
Jankail Adams
Dr. Kimeka Campbell
Winnie Okello
Boots Sampson

I sat down with Jessica, Rae and Ira, 3 people that I met by fate. As we remember the summer of 2020, I can't remember anything but how I felt like an outsider, watching protests unfold and really not understanding what was happening. As you will hear, I asked questions that gave me more knowledge about how 3 people who were at the front of each Lancaster Protest got there. My takeaway is simple, LISTEN to each other, STOP telling others how to feel and YES we can agree to be different from each other. Thank you Jess, Rae and Ira for telling your side of the story.
