Which is better!? Which is worse? What are fan films!? Do we even like them!? All of these questions (and more) will be answered on, Turning Trekkie the Podcast!!!

Star Trek, created by Gene Roddenberry, was canceled... but luckily for Christel and Richard that wasn't the end, it was only the beginning. We're now Turning our Trekkie focus to those early Saturday mornings from September 8, 1973, to October 12, 1974, on NBC. This continuation of Star Trek spanned 22 episodes over two seasons... but something was different... our beloved characters became CARTOONS! This is the second series in the Star Trek franchise and features mostly the same cast as The Original Series. Show writers David Gerrold and D. C. Fontana are back!!! They characterized The Animated Series as effectively a fourth season of Star Trek. So being the super zealous hosts as they are, Christel and Richard took a day to watch the entire series! Binge-tastic!!! Come join the fun as the Animated Series is discussed in depth and in full, going to places that neither host had gone before!
