The purpose of our podcast is to provide coaches with tangible athletic development resources from both within the Lacrosse world and the greater sporting community. Our guests will include Youth, Junior, University, Olympic and Professional coaches who's experience with varying age groups will provide insight into the ongoing process of coaching.
A new series from Mark in which he reconnects with people he has coached along the way. The first episode, of what we are calling The People Series, is with a former Division 3 athlete that Mark worked with at the now closed, Green Mountain College.
While playing there, Nick was a 3 year starter, captain and 2nd team all conference in the @nacathletics in 2015.
@parsonsn6 and @marklangejr discuss their time together in the game, where Nick is now, and mostly, the struggles and stories of playing and coaching at the very bottom of the division 3 barrel.
Please see the link in our bio to watch the podcast!
This video didn't come out so good, but moving forward it will be video and audio!

Gair Maxwell is an international speaker and author! We were very happy to talk with Gair, because besides coaching leaders, he is also a podcast host and started cutting his teeth as a tv and radio broadcaster, in which he had an award winning career. The first part of the episode we talk about his book and how he coaches leaders, before getting into how rewarding it was for him to be a minor hockey coach, and the life long lessons he taught there, as well as the kinship he still shares with some of those players. It was a pleasure to speak with Gair learning about how we can be better podcasters and coaches, and we are sure this interview has something that everyone can take into their everyday lives outside of coaching as well!!

We are sorry for being away for a couple of weeks as we are in the middle of our CUFLA season and needed to put our time and energy towards that. We are really excited to be back and to share with you part one of our conversation with one of the best lacrosse coaches in history, Bob McMahon. Besides his work as a coach and builder within the Orangeville, Ontario Minor and Junior programs, Bob began his professional lacrosse coaching career as an assistant coach with the Detroit Turbos in 1992 and 1993. In 1999, McMahon was hired as an assistant coach to his friend Terry Sanderson in Albany, and was promoted to head coach following the 2001 season, when Sanderson left Albany to become head coach of the expansion Montreal Express. In the two years with Sanderson as head coach, the Attack finished with 6-6 and 5-9 records, but in McMahon's first year as head coach, Albany improved to a league-best 14-2 record. The Attack hosted the NLL Championship game, which they lost to the Toronto Rock, but McMahon was named 2002 NLL Coach of the Year (an award later renamed the Les Bartley Award). McMahon was also selected as coach of the South team in the 2002 NLL All-Star Game.
