In today's episode I shared the idea of playing small with how and why we play small in our lives. Last Sunday I had a tweet that went viral with and the tweet was actually about playing small. In this episode I reflect on why I made the tweet, the importance of the message that I shared and the next steps to take. In today’s episode I talked about the concept of letting things go and how when we let things go we actually allow ourselves the space we need to move forward to the life that we want. I shared a personal story about my relationship with my birth father and how I held on to that for so long and it played such a huge part in my life. As you listen to this episode I want to encourage you to think of something in your life that you are currently holding on to whether it be an experience or a person, and I want you to think about why you are holding on to it, and what role is it playing in your life right now.

In today’s episode I talk about the reasoning behind not trying something new and how to begin being okay with newness and accepting change. This episode is perfect if you had new goals or experiences you wanted this year, but you have not started any of them due to feeling anxious about starting something new. Maybe you are moving, maybe it’s a career change, maybe it’s a new relationship and although all of these things are things that you KNOW you want, you avoid them because they are new.
