Some of the most beautiful poetry I've ever read has to be from the pen of Shri Rabindranath Tagore. He has a way of capturing the ethereal that smells like wet earth, and feels like the starry sky. A wonderful piece from his 1913 collection in the Poetry Magazine. Enjoy

This particular piece is a powerful statement, reminding us to keep track and forge a conscious path for ourselves as we live and love though this life.
A sweet and brilliant look into the art of poetry creation. I recently discovered Laura Hershey's poetry, and have been enjoying it very much. She's a brilliant mind and soul, which very much reflects in her poetry. Learned a lot from this piece of hers as well.
One of (if not the) most famous works ot William Blake, the Tyger can rightly be dubbed, a masterpiece..It was published in Blake's (1794) volume "Songs of Experience", the successor to his earlier volume(1789) "Songs of innocence". The rhythm alone in this poem is a treat. A classic!
