In this episode, Allie dives into how the launch of Sex & Money brought her understanding of "imposter syndrome" to new depths. After releasing an exposing IG reel promoting the program, it was as if all of the shame she had ever felt in relation to sex & money was brought to the surface. Her ego was screaming: "WHO ARE YOU to talk about sex & money?" and a part of her wanted to run away and burn her business to the ground. As she embodied the role of the teacher in respect to this topic, she learned how slowly she must move as she holds space for her own healing and the healing of others as she shares about sex & money, which are both deeply connected to the energy of shame and trauma. This healing work is DEEP, and she felt it with her whole body as she launched this program.

Hello, my loves, and welcome back! Today's episode is all about shadow work and the dark night of the soul -- sounds FUN, huh? YUP. I would argue that the key to up-leveling and living a fulfilling life is (drum roll please!!!) shadow work!!! This is the most vulnerable I have showed up on the pod so far. It's me speaking from a messy, "feeling" place as opposed to an intellectual place. Sitting in the podcaster's seat is easy for me when I am in teacher mode. No prob, Bob!! In this episode though, I am extremely raw and extremely human. I share with you my experience of shadow work as I am a$$ deep in it. You can learn about this stuff in a book, but at the end of the day, you have to allow yourself to FEEL it. So here we are, feeling our feels (eye roll from a six placement Capricorn).

As small business owners, there is a hell of a lot of pressure on us to be content creators. WHO decided this?! All I'm saying is that social media is a full time job in itself, and when you're also running a business and the algorithm is being a little B*TCH, the world of social media can feel frustrating as hell-- anyone with me here??

Don't get me wrong, social media is a BEAUTIFUL tool for connection. And, probably the most powerful tool in terms of connecting without bounds. But, when it doesn't feel good to the mind, body, and soul, it actually energetically BLOCKS you from receiving that which you're calling in (clients, anyone?). The purpose of this episode is to remind us all that the Universe has infinite creativity in delivering what we desire in this world to us. We have to be willing to choose joy in order to open ourselves up to receive those desires, regardless of the "path for success" that has been handed to us as a formula.

In this episode, Allie unpacks her relationship with social media through a spiritual lens as she prepares for a 28-day social media cleanse. She talks about how after being in silence in Turkey in October, she was intuitively guided to deep dive into the world of Instagram, and how her inner guidance is now calling her to step back in order to return to herself. Considering that social media has been her main channel for receiving clients, this is a huge leap of faith. But, hey, it's all about trusting ourselves and the Universe right?

In this episode, Allie dives into the experiential aspect of spiritual awakening -- what it FEELS like to integrate Divine connection that continuously evolves and expands as we do. She shares about her recent experiences having hard conversations with friends, and how these conversations, despite the discomfort they bring, can connect us deeper to unconditional love.
