Bring Him Home: A Twin Flame Love Story by author Miguel Dean https://www.migueldean.net/

It is now abundantly clear that we need a new kind of masculinity in order to create a more peaceful and harmonious world for ourselves, our children, and the generations to come. We need a new understanding of what it means to be a man so that we can begin to do things differently.

‘Bring Him Home – A Twin Flame Love Story’ is a captivating autobiographical novel that boasts a uniquely vulnerable voice in its depiction of the realities of twin flame romantic connection in an intensely relatable way. It is a truly resonant, and therapeutic, contribution to a market and genre that often lacks the visceral honesty and healing so profoundly present in this beautiful story. Perhaps one of the many true marvels of this book is that, even though it is about two specific lovers, those characters remain anonymous enough so that they serve as highly relatable proxies for the reader’s personal experience.

Katherine T. Kelly, Ph.D., M.S.P.H. is a licensed psychologist in her own psychotherapy and consulting practice in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. With 25+ years of direct clinical experience, Dr. Kelly doesn't just believe in helping others to heal; instead, her mission is to help them to evolve. Using her own integrative framework—the Soul Health Model She provides a uniquely progressive, yet down-to-earth approach to healing and is well-known in both the therapeutic and medical communities. She thrives as she helps clients to reach what she calls "consciousness evolution" through a variety of self-designed methods.

Soul Health: Aligning with Spirit for Radiant Living describes how the soul is at the hub of all aspects of our health and well-being and provides the road map to reaching optimal health—soul health. Our soul’s most natural state is that of unimpeded growth. Therefore, our soul’s evolution depends entirely on our willingness and ability to balance our lives in such a way that we create an unobstructed environment for its growth. In the Soul Health Model, https://www.drkatherinetkelly.com/ the soul is depicted as the life force within an ever-evolving tree. Much like the growth of an actual tree, our soul’s evolution depends on the health of the elements available to it and only thrives when the essentials of our existence are balanced and fulfilled. The model illustrates the ten primary elements of the human condition which must be balanced in order to reach radiant health.

Ryan Gary Morgan author of My Little Pine https://mylittlepine.com/

“My Little Pine New Life” is a fun, fully illustrated book both children and adults enjoy. A fable about a pine tree that allows a tiny little beetle into his life against the advice of the older wiser tree nearby. The book follows the feelings of worthlessness the tree is left with as the devious beetles eat away at its fleshy insides. But that is not the end for the tree. There is hope for the tree yet. Painfully, the tree is able to evict the beetles and be made something new, helping it to feel clean and useful once again.

Young children enjoy following the trials of the poor little pine tree, finding the many hidden squirrels, and the beautifully illustrated pictures. Adults find the detailed paintings inviting, but know the deeper meaning behind the cute story to be where the books true value is found.

But when you read Denise Alexander-Pyle’s The Power of 1(0): A Guide to Living the Ten Commandments and the Golden Rule in Modern Times you’ll discover that “keeping the Sabbath Holy,“ is really about providing mercy in the world -- and the decree against adultery is actually about keeping your commitments to yourself and others in all things.

Over the years, his Richmond barbershop changed from a place where no one talked about addiction to a place of connection and acceptance, and for that, so many people in recovery say ?Thanks, Charlie. Your eyes are the windows to your soul — the key to “seeing the light” that expands your consciousness, allowing you to experience greater presence and aliveness than ever before. That’s the premise in Dr. Liberman’s newest book, Luminous Life: How the Science of Light Unlocks the Art of Living. Integrating 40 years of research, practice and direct experience, this groundbreaking book presents a new science of life. Despite popular belief, presence is not about thinking ahead or trying to be here now. It’s a naturally occurring state that arises when our eyes and mind, activated by light, focus on the same place at the same time. In response to light’s guidance, our eyes begin an intricate dance of aiming, focusing, tracking, and teaming, bringing us to extraordinary states of awareness without effort.

“LUMINOUS LIFE is a 20/20 lens through which we are able to see — perhaps for the very first time — the luminous nature of existence,

of presence, of Self.”

— Michael Bernard Beckwith

Humanistic Psychotherapist Explains How to “Integrate” The Trauma and Own Your Magnificence So You Can Truly Live Well and Love Fully

So under the welcome sweeping influence of the #MeToo movement, you’ve found the courage to denounce your sexual harasser. Or maybe you’ve just finally told someone, or simply felt validated by the stories of so many others who experienced what you did. But is it enough?

While #MeToo may give you back your voice, is it enough to bring about the healing you desire? Will voicing what happened, in and of itself, repair a stunted life? Can years of self-blame, failed relationships, envy of perceived “normal” happy women, addictive behavior or other self-destructive thinking or habits be eradicated by merely verbalizing what happened to you? No, says Carolin Hauser-Carson, a renowned Humanistic Psychotherapist with a large and successful practice that helps women who have been victims of sexual abuse. Getting validation or voicing your anger is only the starting point.

“Carolin’s book accompanies you like a close friend on the most important journey of all—coming home to yourself. How breath-giving to know that you can recover your wholeness after trauma, and even more, blossom into the life you deeply desire. Carolin’s beautifully written and intimate chapters welcome all

Lily Sanders’ life experiences, adversity, talent, sense of humor, and intense compassion has gifted her a purpose to write, influence, and coach others. As a magazine columnist, Lily inspired thousands while writing her own powerful book, Truth to Triumph. Her newly international released book, Truth to Triumph: A Spiritual Guide to Finding Your Truth has already begun transforming lives.

Lily grew up in a domestically violent home, and used ballet class as her sanctuary. Performing and producing was her dream since she was a young child. She later went on as a professional dancer and landed interesting gigs as a dance contestant on Ed McMahon’s Star Search, and a Showgirl/Dancer on Ringling Bros Barnum & Bailey Circus. She continued onto a promising acting career and won various Off Broadway roles and a day player role on ABC’s One Life to Live. Years later, she married, birthed a beautiful child and became a highly successful entrepreneur in the franchise world. Sadly, Lily suffered behind a veil of silence for 14 years, as she found herself back in a domestically violent home as a battered wife. The good news is that the lessons she learned and the awakening she experienced transformed her into the inspirational, insightful, and thought-provoking author, speaker, and coach that she is today.

When Richard Gordon was evolving the acclaimed Quantum-Touch healing technique that today is practiced by 1,400 certified practitioners around the globe in 50 countries, doctors were saying it was impossible to permanently align the occipital bone at the base of the skull and “pelvic torsion”—twisted hips where one is higher than the other. Let alone do it without manipulating the patient! Yet, it became readily apparent that Gordon’s Quantum-Touch methodology could do just that.

Now, that easy-to-learn, seemingly-miraculous correction has opened an astonishing doorway on the Nature of Matter. Gordon demonstrated he could pass this healing energy from person to person or from object to object, using a series of simple experiments that anyone could do by following the directions in his newest book The Secret Nature of Matter. www.quantumtouch.com

Richard Gordon, founder of Quantum-Touch Organization, is a visionary and a pioneer. This is not a partial glimpse of addiction--it is the whole story. It begins with a violent childhood that bonded two children together forever, perhaps setting the stage for what was to come. Jodee's younger brother Brett became an alcoholic. And she the sister of an alcoholic.

As he walked the thin line between life and death, she experienced gut-wrenching highs and lows, obsessively doing everything she could to get his life back on track, sacrificing her own young children, marriage, career, and personal health. Her love for him and his dependence on her would last them a lifetime and almost destroy them both. Like the millions of people worldwide who love someone addicted to drugs or alcohol, Jodee believed she was doing all the right things.

Written with extreme candor, no shame, and in the hope of helping other families get help for themselves as well as their loved ones, The Sun is Gone sheds a bright light on the often-disturbing reality of the progression of alcoholism and what goes on behind closed doors.

The Soul Health Model is something I use with clients on a daily basis. In this model, the soul is depicted in an illustration of a tree. Much like the growth of a tree, the soul’s evolution depends on the health of the elements available to it. In the case of the soul’s evolution, the humanly elements of life are the basis for unimpeded growth. The branches of the tree represent 10 primary areas of the human condition, which must be in balance for the soul’s most optimal growth and evolution. These include Physical, Psychological, Interpersonal, Social, Financial, Intellectual, Environmental, Sexual, Spiritual, and Recreational branches of health. These branches bridge the gap between the human condition and the soul. The entirety of the tree represents the interplay between these two aspects of our existence and illustrates the impact on the rest of our human condition when one or more branches are not healthy. The model emphasizes that when one branch is broken it is impossible for the rest of the tree to remain unaffected. Even one unhealthy branch can have a traumatic impact on the soul’s overall health.

The trunk of the tree houses the soul and is depicted by hands reaching upward toward our most natural state—our soul’s expansive evolution. Our soul sustains and guides us on our journey through our experience of the human condition once we open ourselves to receive its wisdom. Only when the tree is in full balance can the soul truly blossom, and only when we open to our soul is our true radiance reached.

Today, the evidence is everywhere that meditation improves health, mental acuity, emotional balance and spiritual connection. Leonard Perlmuttter is one of the Western world’s leading pioneers in the introduction of meditation into the cultural firmament, having founded the American Meditation Institute (AMI) in 1996. While most North Americans today perceive Yoga as a valuable source of exercise and quieting of the mind, The Heart and Science of Yoga shows that it is so much more. As it was evolved through ancient wisdom, Yoga Science is an eight-step method for managing the life force energy that propels us and connects us to the infinite power that is within and without us all. And the result of mastering it is the bliss and daily joy that lies in the realization of our connection.

TOOLS OF THE TRADE IN RECOVERY, What if I told you there was a tool kit for recovery that if discovered, practiced, and shared would create a life beyond your wildest dreams? Would you be willing to give it a try? If you are in one of these three categories, discovery, in practice, or all about sharing to Tools of the Trade in Recovery then this is a show for you! I had someone once tell me that I needed to let go of my Survivor Tools and pick up the Tool box for Recovery if I was to get better, have a life worth living, and stop the drama train from pulling into the station one more time. I had been given the Gift of Desperation, I was ready and willing to do IT differently. During this show we will look at just what  Survivor Tools are why they are difficult to let go or put down, what the Tool Box of Recovery is, how they can change your life, and experience the awakening you have been waiting for. This is not a show for the faint of heart, it is a show for people who are ready to take the next step in life, and RECOVER. Bring your tool boxes to the show with you, call in and share your journey with all of our listeners as Marsha talks with our audience members and shares from her book “The Little Hand Book of Recovery,” how to discover, find, and apply The Tools Of The Trade In Recovery to your life. Marsha is a fun loving, energetic, creative example of what recovery is today. “I am excited to share my story of recovery with my fans. I all the years I have been hosting the Been There Done That Show I have not taken the opportunity to share my story. Why? You may ask, well believe it or not I am a little bit shy! In my 15th year of recovery, I decided to step out of my country girl shyness, celebrate my recovery, and let you know that my recovery is not the standard, drunk-a-log, this is not a what happened to me story, it is a story of the possibilities that are afforded to everyone when they take the leap of faith, believe that you are worth so much more than you have been acting, and how to reach for the moon and actually reach the MOON.” There is no half ass’in it for this woman, someone once told her that she was tenacious which means, determined, strong willed, and has a strength of purpose. I would say that was right on the money.  Her story is not just about the solution, it is about what you get when you live in the solution. This is a story you do not want to miss. Her logic will pull on your heart strings and you will clearly see her ability to display goodwill, character, intelligence, and a great since of humor. Marsha looks forward to hearing from you with questions you may have call into the show at (718) 766-4707 visit her website at www.newurecovery.org to see what she has been up to.

Trust God, Clean the Garage, and Help Others Women In Recovery our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics achieve sobriety". Char came to Hurricane several weeks ago to host the Been There Done That Show www.beentheredonethatshow.com. The topic for the show was to discuss the VOA Homeless Outreach Program in SLC, which Char heads up. Marsha brought Char out to her womens sober living home to show off the house which is due to open August 1, 2013. The problem the Home and the Garage was in need of some cleaning out. There was a vast amount of STUFF left over from the previous owner, it was over whelming just to look at. Well Char in all of her wisdom said, "Marsha you do not have to do this by yourself. How about I do what I can to come back down with some women from SLC and help you clean this place out." I just about fell over, it was just what I needed I said, "Asking for Help is a part of what we learn to do to stay sober. I guess it can apply to needing help with projects that are overwhelming also. I am so thankful for the help that is coming my way." As a treat I thought it would be great to have the show topic on 6-29-13 be about how we use service work to support our sobriety. Seven years ago, Normand Cartier’s home was a 4’ x 3’ tent in the wooded outskirts of Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Today, after many journeys, literal and figurative, Normand’s home is a two bedroom house in Winnemucca, Nevada. But his thoughts are always on his “brothers and sisters on the streets” – those whose home might be the alcove of a church basement, behind a dumpster in a dark alley, or a torn tent in the woods. A veteran of the broken rehab/recovery system, Normand is LAFIA's inspirational spokes...person who has worked tirelessly as an advocate for his brethren on the streets. Speaking with a soft but strong voice and calling upon Rhode Island’s government agencies to work together to eradicate the current cycles of rehab and recidivism that plagues that state’s drug and alcohol recovery programs, Normand’s steps have paved the way for the next phase of LAFIA’s evolution. As LAFIA’s new Executive Vice President of Transitional Housing and Social Development, Cartier is leading the charge to create a series of LAFIA Houses for Sober Living and Transitional Hope, believing that the progress he made in his small home state could be a pattern repeated across the country. LAFIA has pledged to support the fundraising efforts, to allow that chance meeting, which became a movie, which honored a man, who started a movement, to blossom into a worthy mission

Addiction takes many shapes, sizes and forms. For instance Soy shakes, golden retrievers, squat thrusts. These aren't the makings of a week-long bender in Vegas, unless you happen to be Marquis de Sade. However, the human brain is a mysterious lump of meat, and under rare circumstances the mind can become hooked on all sorts of things that are usually completely innocent or even commendable. In one infamous 2005 case, animal control officers retrieved more than 300 sewage-scented pups from Barbara and Robert Woodley's Sanford, North Carolina home. The house's stench was so damn doggy that it brought the rescuing veterinarians to tears ... Literally. Animal hoarding is often the result of crippling obsessive-compulsive disorder. The hoarder believes that he alone understands his pets, who apparently wish to live cramped and knee-deep in their own shit. We will explore the addiction process in the when it comes anything we focus on. Though the addiction process the brain can become addicted to anything. Can the recovery process work on these areas of addiction. Join us on the Been There Done That Show www.beentheredonethatshow.comSaturday 4-27-13 6pm-7pm call in at (646) 200-0112 or 435-673-5890

Please join us Saturday night at 6 PM Mountain Standard time for the Been There Done That Show on AM 890 KDXU and on the Worldwide Web atwww.beentheredonethatshow.com

We will be talking to Alan Hauge, CEO of GMT Studios in Culver City California. Alan is not only the CEO of GMT, one of the largest independent Studios in LA but also a great Producer and the Creator/Producer of a film called Tweeked.

"Tweaked" and Tweaked: A Generation in Overdrive" , are two prime examples of dealing with a major problem sweeping our country.

This two-part film series reveals how young people are impacted by this new and deadly surge of Meth addiction. Few escape because their family and friends are willing to sacrifice everything to set them free. Others, hopelessly hooked on Meth, die a slow, degenerative death, with no sense of well being or hope. Others are victims of suicide, or perpetrators of torture and murder.

The young people featured in our new film series represent the many innocents of our society ravaged by broken homes, neglect, and little parental influence. Physically and emotionally vulnerable to their environment, they adopt the look and values of the people they love and esteem.

A second objective, as demonstrated in "Tweaked: A Generation in Overdrive", is to instill faith in the family unit and qualities of life like confidence, self-control, wisdom and love.

For further information about Tweaked, see www.escapemeth.com

Twenty five years ago, a heartbroken mother made a pledge in her deceased daughter’s bedroom. She would do something about the outrage of drunk driving—a decision that quickly inspired a handful of grieving, determined mothers to join in the fight. Though united? in cause, they had no office, no money and no clout. In fact, all they had was sorrow, luck and a picture of a pretty, 13-year-old girl killed by a drunk driver. Yet they initiated one of the great grassroots successes in American history. They were as their name suggests: MaDD. as their fledgling organization grew, they stood toe to toe with politicians who knew the stats but did not act. They took on a powerful industry that put profit over safety. They challenged a society that viewed drinking and driving as acceptable—even laughable. And they caused a visceral reaction. The getting there wasn’t easy. It was tough. It was messy. and it was fraught with obstacles. Yet MaDD proved, time and time again, that it would not be bullied or derailed. In fact, MaDD blazed a trail that other organizations have since followed. They made hard cold statistics come to life. They did not just say that drunk driving killed thousands and injured millions. They held up photographs, and described every nuance of their loved ones lives to prove it. As a result, a mountain of traffic safety and victims’ rights legislation has been passed. Annual alcohol-related traffic fatalities have dropped from an estimated 30,000 in 1980 to fewer than 17,000 today. and, perhaps most important, society no longer views drunk driving as acceptable.
