Film director Chris Burgard joined Liz Collin on her podcast. Burgard is the director of the new documentary "Remember the Alamo - Don't Sharia My Texas" that looks at how Sharia law and mass Muslim immigration represent a battle for the soul of Texas.
“We know that they are targeting Texas because they absolutely believe that if they take down Texas, they can take down the whole United States and once the United States is gone, they've got Western civilization,” Burgard said.
He also spoke about the parallels to Minnesota, which is home to the largest Somali population in the country.
“This is fundamentally transforming the United States of America,” he said of what’s happening in Minnesota.

Sgt. Bryan Savaloja from the Wadena County Sheriff’s Office joined Liz Collin on her podcast. He explained some of the details involved in a drug bust in rural Minnesota and the law enforcement partnership that nabbed five suspects, including two illegal aliens, who were collectively sentenced to more than 43 years in prison.

Rosen provided explained more about the indictment of Antifa-related groups that were allegedly behind the threats, the stalking, and the violence that played out in Minnesota earlier this year.
Rosen explained why the 95-page indictment against 15 defendants should be "mandatory reading"—especially since it includes details that people are "just not going to learn by looking at some of the typical media outlets reporting on this.”

Anthony Sinople joined Liz Collin on her podcast. He’s a Maple Grove resident who lives in the Evanswood neighborhood, which includes more than 200 homes with prices advertised from $600,000 to more than $1 million.
Sinople and several others in Evanswood who reached out to Alpha News are concerned about ties to potential fraud. They say there are dozens of businesses—from group homes, to daycares, to foster homes—that can be traced to Somali homeowners.
“Members of the East African community started to open up to me about what exactly was occurring and started to describe these plans … and how they would be able to make $10,000 to $24,000 a month per person for setting up these group homes,” said Sinople.
“Then I started to receive offers that if I would purchase homes in the community under my name, they would be sponsoring these types of housing stabilization programs at these houses,” he added.

Allen Shen joined Liz Collin on her podcast. He’s a Republican candidate for District 40B in the Minnesota House. Shen is also an Army veteran, yet he knows communism quite well as he was born in China.
Shen appears in the Alpha News documentary “Minnesota Mao.” But now, after speaking in classrooms and at political events across the state, Shen believes he’s seen how people now seem ready to heed the warnings about rising socialism and communism in Minnesota and elsewhere in America.
“If we keep strong Christian values, we can definitely prevent socialism from ever succeeding on this land,” Shen said.

Balsimo said that it wasn't until watching Nick Shirley's viral video that she recognized some familiar business names while working in the tort recovery unit for the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
“I thought about it, I thought, wow, so the fraud went as far as the employee was a fake employee, probably with fake injuries, because there is no people at these places,” she said.

A Minneapolis police officer who worked on the streets for decades spoke with Liz Collin on her podcast.
Due to anti-law enforcement hostility and retaliation, he asked to remain anonymous. But he spoke candidly about a wide range of topics, including the shocking problems with retirements and recruits, Somali fraud, cars that have been stolen more than a few times, and more.

Reed explained that the city is "picking and choosing who's more important" as Minneapolis pushes funding for businesses following ICE's Operation Metro Surge. He also talked about how he and eight other business owners are suing the city for allowing gangs and activists to take over the area, which consequently ruined his business.
Healy, his attorney, pointed out that "ultimately, it's the Minneapolis City Council and Mayor Frey who are responsible" for allowing traffic to be blocked for more than a year as the area became "a war zone" following George Floyd's death.

A student at the University of Minnesota tells Alpha News she had to take part in what her professor called an "'ICE drill" during class.
The student said it was meant to teach students how to respond if ICE ever came to the class—and how white students needed to use their bodies to "cover" and "shield" other students who may be likely targets of immigration enforcement.
The student, who initially did not want to be anonymous but did so to protect family and friends, said that as a future educator, “I would never ever instruct my own students to put their own safety on the line.”
The university told Alpha News it is aware of the situation and conducting a thorough review.

In publicly telling his story for the first time, former GOP candidate Paul Wikstrom spoke with Liz Collin on her podcast about how his challenge to election fraud ultimately helped shine a light on all the other kinds of fraud in Minnesota.
Wikstrom explained how he was running against DFL opponent Curtis Johnson to represent District 40B in the Minnesota House. But something wasn't right. Johnson didn't actually live in the district, as required by state law.
After investigating, Wikstrom challenged the election and Johnson was disqualified, which led to a special election. Wikstrom didn't win. But his investigation and challenge helped put a stop to the DFL and "their runaway spending,” he said. Wikstrom also explained how the focus on fraud at the legislature “all started with a challenge to election fraud.”

Somali American Abdi Nor Iftin is a naturalized U.S. citizen and the author of a memoir titled "Call Me American."

Chris Madel, a prominent defense attorney who won a high-profile case for Trooper Ryan Londregan, explains how once again politicians are ignoring the facts and the presumption of innocence with the shooting involving an ICE agent in Minneapolis.
Madel joined Liz Collin on her podcast. He also represents Alpha News and is a republican running for governor of Minnesota.
In talking about the constitutional guarantees afforded to all U.S. citizens, Madel explained, "This is one of the things that makes America so great. We don't just put these things in words on paper. We actually follow them. We actually believe in them.” But he also cautioned that "when our elected leaders don't do that … they just follow the pitchforks and the torches."

Prompted by a flood of tips from readers about facilities that tipsters say do not appear to be providing services, Alpha News reporters Liz Collin and Jenna Gloeb visited more than a dozen autism centers and adult day care businesses across the Twin Cities during posted business hours on Monday, Dec. 15.
Vacant rooms and autism therapy centers with no children present were among the findings as the reporters examined concerns raised by tipsters about Medicaid-funded programs.
No children were observed at any of the autism centers visited. Only a few workers and a small number of elderly women were seen at the adult day care facilities. Many of the locations seemed empty.
At one location, a luxury sedan circled the Alpha News reporters in the parking lot. Shortly afterward, police were called to report the journalists.

Jeremy Christenson, a former Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agent, joined Liz Collin on her podcast and explained how cases of cash smuggling and fraudulent day care centers were ignored by prosecutors.

A whistleblower who works in county government—and tried to call attention to fraud in Minnesota—joined Liz Collin on her podcast. She asked that we protect her identity for the interview, so we called her Susan.
She spoke out on Minnesota's Housing Stabilization Services (HSS) fraud, a program funded by Medicaid and administered by the Minnesota Department of Human Services. The program was officially shut down on October 31st.
“What I witnessed firsthand, there were a lot of red flags," she said.

AJ Kern, who ran for congress herself, joined Liz Collin on her podcast to talk about the shocking details in documents related to Rep. Omar's personal history and immigration status.
Rep. Omar has repeatedly "claimed that she became a citizen at the age of 17," Kern explained.
However, based on public records, Kern said it seems as though Rep. Omar "was actually 18 in the year 2000, when her father became eligible to apply for citizenship."
After requesting and reviewing official documents, Kern believes that Rep. Omar "actually wasn't a minor when her father could apply for naturalization. It kind of blows a hole in her story that she obtained naturalization or citizenship."
Kern also pointed out how the Minnesota Secretary of State does not verify the citizenship of candidates running for office.

Joseph offered an update about the status of Chauvin’s legal battles in seeking post-conviction relief in Minnesota.
He explained to Collin that “this is really an opportunity for us to paint a picture, not only of, of what happened but also how it happened and why it happened. And this is a chance for us to make things right.”
Now that Chauvin’s trial and appeal are over, Joseph explained that post-conviction relief is “Derek's last line of defense.”

Adam Becker was hired by Duluth Public Schools to become a District Wide Paraprofessional Job Coach in 2024.
He worked for a couple of months—but "gender mapping" put a stop to his teaching career.
"This is my first year teaching at a public school. I'm in Duluth, Minnesota, and I'm just like jaw dropped. And I hear this person say, you can start teaching this to your students as early as kindergarten. That's when I checked out. That was the moment when I thought, my kids will never come here," Becker explained.

Kenny Mauer was a referee for the NBA for over 35 years; he never missed a game. Mauer grew up in St. Paul and was an athlete his whole life. He played baseball for the University of Minnesota and began refereeing high school sports in college.
Mauer said he was always “kind of a rebel” in his role. He would question why certain rules were changed and the reasons behind those decisions.
So when the NBA began mandating that referees, but not players, be vaccinated against COVID-19, naturally, Mauer asked why.

Mike Woodley’s car was stolen right in front of him on a cold January morning in Edina.
A hockey coach, Woodley was dropping off some gear to a fellow coach at a hotel around 6:30 a.m. He parked in front of the hotel and left his car running. It was a “well-lit” area and he intended to quickly run in to the lobby to meet his friend, so he figured he’d be safe.
Within seconds, a Lexus with no plates drove up alongside his car, like it was waiting. A juvenile suspect hopped out and drove away with Woodley’s Ford Escape.
The suspects drove the stolen vehicle to the Phillips neighborhood in Minneapolis, where police are discouraged from pursuing vehicles. “Obviously the suspects knew that,” Woodley said.

Minnesota nature photographer Mark Harlow opened up about his next chapter on the Liz Collin Reports podcast.
From the soaring wings of eagles to the majestic movements of our state bird, it’s been said Mark Harlow shoots wildlife images that stir the soul. His story is one of sacrifice, heartache, success, pain, and perseverance.
Harlow is a Mankato, Minn., native who now lives in Walker.
He’s spent the last few years working on documentaries of loons and otters that will be released soon.
Harlow’s new website will launch in October.

Attorney James Dickey of the Upper Midwest Law Center joined Liz Collin Reports to explain what comes next after last week’s win at the Minnesota Supreme Court.
The court ruled last week that Minneapolis failed in its duty to employ a minimum of 731 sworn officers as required by the city charter.
“It was a huge win for the people of Minneapolis. What the Supreme Court essentially did here was say that Mayor [Jacob] Frey has to have at least 0.0017 police officers per resident in Minneapolis on the police force and that translates to 731 in 2020 numbers,” Dickey explained.
The court has asked Mayor Frey to show “proof that the City actually employed 731 sworn officers or explain why [he] could not satisfy that duty.”
“They can technically get off the hook so to speak if they can show that they have a valid excuse for not complying with the writ of mandamus. But they have to come forward with evidence to show that. They have to show why it is that they have not been able to hire enough officers,” Dickey explained.
Dickey also discussed the Upper Midwest Law Center’s new lawsuit against the Walz administration’s clean car rules.

It’s been 25 years since a serial killer went on a murderous rampage that claimed the lives of five people. The killing spree began in Minneapolis in April of 1997 and ended 79 days later — on July 15 — on the steps of a Miami Beach mansion with the murder of Gianni Versace, the Italian fashion designer.
The gunman, Andrew Cunanan, died by suicide eight days later.
Many Minnesotans were glued to the more than two-month manhunt, including Dave Racer, who would eventually give a voice to the team who tracked Cunanan.
Racer is the author of Death by Design, a detailed record of that time in history.

Colleen Ronnei joined Liz Collin for an episode of Liz Collin Reports this week to share the story of her son’s death and her mission to stop others like it.
Luke Ronnei struggled with mental health issues his whole life, Ronnei said, but he received great care and counseling. His anxiety worsened in high school and was coupled with depression. When he was prescribed opioids after getting his wisdom teeth out, it was a quick downward spiral into an addiction he hid well, his mother said.
Luke’s drug dealer, Beverly Burrell, is now in jail for selling drugs to five men who died of overdoses.

Two Minnesota residents joined Liz Collin this week for an in-depth look at the data surrounding COVID-19 deaths.
Researcher Marana Muse spent upwards of 1,500 hours studying Minnesota death certificates she obtained from the Minnesota Department of Health and uncovered “illogical” data.
Muse and attorney Greg Pulles analyzed all Minnesota death certificates from 2020 and 2021 for COVID-19 and found that only 291, or 2.67% of the 10,903 certificates they examined, were “COVID only” with no comorbidity listed.

Vicki Randall from Brainerd, Minn., lost her son, Sgt. Cody Lee Randall, to suicide during the pandemic in 2020.
He was on base in Alaska where they have experienced a pandemic of their own — of suicides. Cody was seeing a counselor but his access to mental health treatment was cut off because of the government's response to the pandemic.
He left behind a wife and then 5-year-old daughter. He was just 28.

On the latest episode of "Liz Collin Reports," Liz spoke with a former public health nurse in Minneapolis who left the field after she said responses to the COVID pandemic made her and her work feel fraudulent.
When Liz asked her to elaborate on just what she meant by "feeling like a fraud," Laura Van Luven said she was trained as a public health nurse to incorporate considerations of mental and social health in her practice. Even pre-pandemic, she remembered feeling concerned for new mothers who were isolated for various reasons.
But then COVID came, and Van Luven suddenly found herself prevented from doing home visits, which exacerbated an already difficult situation for the families she encountered.
When asked if caring for these families "from afar" worked during the pandemic, Van Luven admitted the quality of the services she was able to provide took a significant hit.

Ryan Witthoft was fired from the Minneapolis Federal Reserve after objecting to the COVID-19 vaccine on religious grounds.
"I loved my job and everything about it," he tells Liz Collin.
But his religious beliefs prevented him from getting the COVID-19 vaccine because they "have all used aborted fetal cells in some way, shape, or form."
His religious exemption was accepted at first, but then the bank changed its mind right before Christmas.
