She spoke about her realization of growing up in a financially abusive environment and how it affected her finances and relationships. Taryn faced difficulties such as eviction notices and a lawsuit due to mismanaged finances, struggled to obtain business funding as a black woman, but found empowerment in getting her finances in order, and turned that into her Impact Brand.
