This Sunday, we continued our "Yet Once More" series with the joy of hearing from our leader, Ben Tarbuck, on the importance of Treasure in rebuilding God’s house. Instead, Ben emphasized the importance of exercising your right to as other people are unable to and our vote just don't count for us but for them also. He also encouraged seeking the Lord's guidance when making your decision. Ben discussed three types of politicians mentioned in the Bible: Herods, Heretics, and Heralds. Emily (manager) and Oliver (assistant manager) use the story about the feeding of 5000 people to illustrate how God can multiply the little that we have to bless us and others around us.
This week Ben continues "Our Values" series with "Life of Mission above spiritual apathy". He celebrates some of the families and individuals in our community who practice this value in their everyday lives.
This week Rachel started a new series on our values. She started with Identity. She talks about how important it is to first value our identity in Christ above the influence of culture.
This week Ben looks at the story of Zaccheus, a tax collector who climbed a tree just to be able to see Jesus in a crowd of people. This story illustrates why we need to actively seek Jesus and when we do, He can do incredible things in our lives.
