A podcast dedicated to the father of the SEC, the SoCon. Sam, Mike, Jeb, and Eli discuss everything from fooball to basketball to baseball for each member of the SoCon- Furman, Wofford, UTC, ETSU, Western Carolina, Citadel, VMI, Samford, UNCG, and Mercer.
The guys enjoyed the summer off and are ready to get back to covering Samford Sports. The guys touch on some highlights from the summer, the World Cup, Gabi Nicastro, Coach Curry's departure and more.

The guys discuss the ongoing SoCon basketball season. Samford dropped three straight conference games including a heartbreaker to ETSU. The dogs are looking to rebound against Wofford and UTC this week. They also updated on who Samford has signed in the football portal.
Mike and Grant discuss the large first half deficits Samford faced against both Western Carolina and Chattanooga.
It was too much to overcome against UTC and the dogs will have to play better to beat Furman on Wednesday.
The guys are back from the break and discuss the first couple of conference games against VMI and UNCG. Samford is 1-1 with WCU and UTC up next.
Samford's Athletic Director Martin Newton joined the show to discuss the recent hires of John Grass and Lennie Acuff. He also have some insights into the changing landscape of NCAA sports and March Madness.
We got our guy! Samford Football announced John Grass as the new head coach and the guys discuss their reaction and hope for the program. Samford Basketball continues its up and down season with a loss to VCU and win over Cornell. And last, the guys go through the wild softball schedule.

The guys talk about the first win of the season over Mississippi College, who stood out and what we need to improve ahead of the Friday Cornell matchup.
Basketball season is almost here and after that game on Saturday.... we need it to be. The guys break down the roster, schedule and who they think will be pretenders or contenders for the SoCon this season.
The guys open with some basketball news and then dig into the matchup against Citadel. It is certainly a potential turning point for this team but it all starts in Charleston on Saturday.
Tay, Grant and Sam talk about the huge win over the #7 Mercer Bears. Hammered them from all sides of the ball, where can this team go from here? Quincy sliced and diced the defense, nine wide receivers had more than one catch and the defense produced two touchdowns themselves. Samford has the whole season in front of them.
Top 10 Mercer is rolling into Homewood with one of the nations top defenses. Samford is still trying to put together a complete game and with everything still technically in front of them, will be looking for a big win. The guys discuss the matchup, give some updates on SoCon Football and other Samford sports.
How did we lose?? Despite big play after big play and winning the turnover battle by four, the bulldogs dropped a tight one at ETSU. The guys give their good, bad and ugly, MVP's and a few takeaways heading into the game against Mercer.
