Välkommen till en workshop i Bibelläsning! En bild säger mer än tusen ord, och en av de äldsta bildteknikerna vi har är berättarkonsten. Det är mitt i denna uråldriga tradition som Bibelns författare befinner sig, när de skriver ner det som idag står tryckt och bundet i våra bokhyllor. Dessa verkliga berättelser blev för många av oss kvar i söndagsskole-rummen. Med detta seminarium ser jag fram emot att ge mig in i bibelberättelsernas värld på nytt med dig som är van eller ovan bibelläsare för att inspirera till nya (uråldriga) sätt möta med Gud igenom Bibelordet. Tina Nordström jobbade i många år som missionär i Youth With A Mission (YWAM), bl.a. som bibellärare och kursansvarig vid University of the Nations. Hon brinner för att minska gapet mellan att ha en Bibel och att läsa den och på så sätt göra Bibelordet tillgängligt för alla oavsett teologiska förkunskaper.

We will be looking at Jesus' time in the desert and then the start of his ministry. The Vineyard believes that "Everyone gets to play" so this is for anyone who is or has walked a difficult road. We will discuss how we use our desert times in ministry to those around us. Kyra Duncan is part of GCF Vineyard i Wilmore, Kentucky, USA. She is a graduate from Capella University and is presently working on her Ph.D in child and adolescent development.

Per Christian har vært en del av ledelsen i Vineyard Norden siden 1999. Etter noen år ute av formelle ansvar i bevegelsen kom han tilbake som leder for Vineyard Norge i 2019.
I 1998 flyttet han med et team som plantet Trondheim Vineyard, som igjen har plantet Levanger Vineyard, Plan B Vineyard og Vintage Vineyard. I dag leder han Vintage Vineyard i Oslo ved siden av tjenesten i Vineyard Norge.
Per Christian brenner for de gode nyhetene om at Guds Rike er nær for å gjenopprette liv, og elsker å investere i unge mennesker for å se dem vokse inn i alt det som Gud har skapt dem til. Han er gift med Thine, og har to voksne døtre, Caroline og Benedicte.

Linn er gift med Kjell Martin som er pastor i Oslo Vineyard. Sammen har de to voksne barn. Linn er utdannet lærer, har jobbet som beredskapsmor og kunstner, men har de siste årene vært programleder på kristen TV. Linn har et kall til å forberede Kristi brud og har forkynt siden 2005. Sammen med sin mann lengter hun etter å bringe Guds rike til Oslo og Norge.

Tobias WesselTobias er vokst opp i Oslo Vineyard og har i flere år vært med og tjent som ungdomsleder i Vineyard Nordic Youth. Gud har særlig lagt ungdommene i det sekulære samfunnet på hans hjerte. Caroline LundeCaroline er ungdomskoordinator i Vineyard Norge og leder for Vineyard Nordic Youth. Hun elsker Jesus og mennesker, og brenner for at unge skal få vokse inn i alt det Gud har skapt de til å være. Hun lengter etter å se stadig fler ungdommer vokse i tro på Guds kraft til å gjenopprette, helbrede, utruste og utøse sin nåde og kjærlighet over seg selv og alle de møter – og se generasjoner komme sammen i oppbygging og etterfølgelse av Jesus.

The goal of managing anxiety is not simply for relief, it is to connect more fully with God and to raise awareness of what God is doing. Anxiety blocks our awareness of God because it takes our subconscious attention. This means that anxiety can be an early detection system that we’re depending on something other than God for our well-being.

The Kingdom, the Church and the Call

How to plant healthy, growing churches in secular Europe
In the Vineyard, the planting of healthy churches (that plant healthy churches) is a vital part of our DNA. But planting a healthy, growing church in secular Northern Europe is no easy thing to accomplish. Ever since planting Odense Vineyard in 2012 with my wife and a small team and while working as Church Planting Coordinator, I have been trying, testing and searching for the models of church that will gain traction in cities like Odense where less than 1% of the population attend church regularly. If you have a heart to see more churches in the Nordic countries and beyond be planted and develop into healthy, growing churches where people come to faith in Jesus and grow into mature disciples this seminar is for you. I will share experiences and open up a discussion of what works and how to increase momentum in church planting.

God is calling me to lead, how do I prepare for it?
Ever since I was 16 years old I have had a sense of Jesus calling me into his great story, to leadership and to building his church. But I have not always felt that I had what it takes to lead. The road to leadership is a life-long journey into the things Jesus is calling us into. In this seminar, we will share how to work together with God in preparing and growing for our calling to lead and build the church. Anyone who senses God calling you into more leadership is more than welcome whether you have been a leader for a long time or you are just starting out in leadership.

Worship leader? Lead worshipper? Worship artist?
A seminar about the core essence of worship in a world where leading worship is everything from three cords with an acoustic guitar in a small group to a full band with smoke and lights before a cheering crowd of thousands. We say: “it is not about us” and still it is often a lot about us. Or? Is leading worship and creativity incompatible? Can an artist be a worship leader? Can a worship leader be an artist? This concept of leading worship – what is it really all about? Personal thoughts and reflections in combination with Vineyard values!

Eleanor continues her teaching series on the values of the vineyard movement and what are the characteristics of healthy churches
John and Eleanor married in 1978 after meeting at university in England. They have two sons, two wonderful daughters-in-law and four grandchildren! They worked for nearly two years with John Wimber on the staff of the Anaheim Vineyard in California, before starting the first Vineyard church in Europe in 1987 (South West London Vineyard). In 2008 they handed over the leadership of that church to concentrate more on the Vineyard movement, both nationally and internationally, then in 2015 they transitioned the leadership of Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland.
Together they now coordinate the Vineyard International Executive, which helps facilitate the growth of the Vineyard internationally. More nations are becoming their own established Vineyard families every year. Growth is exciting but it presents challenges. John and Eleanor’s desire is to enhance the Vineyard family’s ability to work harmoniously across the world so that we can be more effective together in fulfilling the Great Commission that God has given us. John and Eleanor visited our camp some years ago and we are delighted to have them back as guest speakers.

Flemming is the senior pastor in Copenhagen Vineyard and has been pastoring the church since it was planted in 1997. In May 2015, Flemming and his wife, Anne were released as the new Vineyard Nordic leaders. They both have a big heart for serving their local communities and seeing people being transformed through Christ. One of Flemming’s main visions is to plant more churches and has been therefore involved in church planting in the Vineyard Nordic. He has a dream of seeing more churches planted in the Nordic and more people coming to faith. Flemming and Anne have recently moved to the countryside to be close to family and nature. They have four children and two grandchildren.

Ted grew up in a small country town in Texas. After completing his studies in theology and music at Oral Roberts University, he travelled throughout Europe and north America for 4 years with an evangelistic music group called Living Sound. Much of their work was done behind the “iron curtain” and Ted has some adventurous stories to tell from those days! In 1981 he married Siw and moved to Sweden, where he has served as pastor and leader in various churches. In 1986 Ted served as worship pastor in Las Vegas for 4,5 years. In 1992 Ted was one of the founding pastors in the first Vineyard church plant in Stockholm, and after this Ted and Siw planted and led Gothenburg Vineyard 1995-2000. In 2000 Ted and his family moved to California, where he led Vineyard Music USA for several years. Currently, Ted is the missions coordinator for Vineyard Nordic and serves together with Siw as the National Leader of Vineyard Sweden. He is passionate about teaching God’s Word, worship, church and family, and is constantly amazed by the wonder of God’s creation around us.

Dave Pedersen is currently the Senior Pastor at Fountain Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Port Elizabeth which he and Colleen started 34 years ago in their home, after 9 years in Methodist ministry. Fountain Vineyard has served as a resource church for church plants in South Africa and beyond. Dave’s heart is for church as an authentic community with the focus on healthy spirituality as well as nurturing and developing of leaders. His personal hobby is discovering recreation through chainsaw creativity, while Colleen is passionately developing doulas in support of healthy birthing. They have four children and 9 grandchildren. Dave and Colleen will be succeeding Costa and Lorraine Mitchell as the new National Directors of the Association of Vineyard Churches of South Africa. This is the second time for Dave and Collen to visit our Summer Camp and we are thrilled to have them back. They are precious compassionate leaders.

Ricky Venter grew up on the wrong side of the proverbial tracks in apartheid South Africa. When his dad died at the age of 10 months his mom had a miraculous encounter with the Lord that led to the whole family being saved. He grew up in church and started leading worship at the age of 13 but after his sister was publicly disciplined in a legalistic church he walked away from his beliefs and spent years experimenting with what the world had to offer. His prodigal experience ended when the Lord encountered him during a particularly extreme evening of partying. This encounter started a miraculous road to restoration. In the time after his return to the Lord, God has used him to lead a dance music band called UWJ(Useless Without Jesus) leading hundreds of school children and young people to the Lord using hip hop and dance music as a tool. This is also where he met his wife and ministry partner Natalia who was a dancer in the same team. He started youth groups in “under privileged” communities, pioneered an advertising agency and ministered from a grateful heart anywhere the Lord would open the door preaching a message of hope and salvation.
The last 10 years Ricky has been serving in a Vineyard church in Port Elizabeth where he started off as a youth and worship pastor and finally as the associate pastor. He has accepted a call to lead the Vineyard Church in Brussels and is trusting the Lord for transformation of a nation and revival of salvation for Europe. His story is one of hope and restoration, of a loving Father that will never let us go even when we let go of Him. A God that saves, delivers and heals and sends us out to be agents of this great salvation wherever we go.

Rachel is the Parenting for Faith Pioneer at BRF. God gave her the vision for Parenting for Faith in 2005 in response to a need in her local church, and it has grown from there.
She has worked in a variety of churches as a family life pastor, children’s pastor and youth pastor since 2004. She consults, speaks at conferences and runs training days for parents and church leaders around the UK and Europe.
Rachel moved to the UK from Southern California in 2002 and now lives in Yorkshire with her husband and son. She once taught herself Irish Gaelic for three years for fun and is fascinated with obscure history. Her love language is new and beautiful stationery.
