Welcome to the Hopeful Creative! This is where we'll talk about how to pursue living a creative life with HOPE. We know how difficult it can be to do your creative thing, day after day, while facing the dragons of comparison, rejection, resistance, and despair. But there IS a way to do what you love to put good and beautiful things out into the world. We'll have a variety of guests talking about how they create and unleash new work, and offer practical advice and encouragement to help you pursue your creative calling with HOPE and PURPOSE.
In October of 2022, Gina released a book/record that chronicled her diagnosis and battle with breast cancer. In the next few episodes during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Gina shares a bit of her story, how creativity kept her going on some of life's darkest days, and some memories of the songs from this project, as well as the songs themselves. In this episode, Gina discusses the song Hope Deserves and Anthem.

Lee shares a bit of his journey to embracing his call to writing and tells how he manages to ride the rollercoaster of the creative life. A second year student at Grand Canyon University, Houston spent his first year of college documenting his life and the lives of several close friends as they navigated their first year at college.
