It can be challenging having a conversation with someone when you challenge their beliefs and everything they’ve known. In our Flat Earth episode, I had people calling me crazy and all sorts of names. It got me wondering, why are we so quick to resort to this type of behaviour when such a topic becomes a part of discussion? Instead of engaging in discussion; we immediately dismiss it and rest in our way of thinking without exploring if what we’ve known could possibly be wrong.
Since we’re young, our school system has guided us in educating us. We’ve all been through the system. But could what they taught us be wrong? Are we loyal to authority figures? Can we all collectively govern ourselves and come to our own conclusions? In my opinion, we need to be introspective and challenge what we know and why we believe it.

October is one of my favorite times of the year! The air is crisper, leaves change, and the lead-up to Halloween. I’ve celebrated Halloween my whole life and enjoyed every moment I got to dress up and be with my friends. As I got older and went into my faith, I began researching the origins of Halloween.
As I dug deeper into the history and how it began, I realized how it traced back to the Celtic festival in Samhain. It was a tradition held at the end of summer when sacrifices were made to the gods in Druid tradition. Halloween never involved wearing costumes, it was rather a solemn event focused on prayer and meditation.

It’s becoming a challenge to have a free-flowing conversation these days without having the need to watch over every word that comes out of your mouth. Censorship has become a tool where it can be weaponized for the actions and words that come out of your mouth. We’re reaching a point where harmless things we do & say online could have significant repercussions for yourself & those around you.
In this episode, Owen and I have a relaxed conversation about this phenomenon that has plagued our society. What discuss:

It seems that the talk and understanding of personal finance is slowly moving away from us. As I observe the upcoming generation, I’m noticing there’s a lack of financial literacy being taught and making them understand how this is a core aspect in them having fulfilling lives. In this episode, Owen and I go deep in discussing how schools, and the system have eliminated the platform to learn essential skills in making money. We dive in the psychology of making money, and how every adult who has a kid can set the foundational principles on how to view money. We discuss:- How schools don’t teach us about money- People don’t know how to save- Parents starting a business with their children- Buying expensive things- Financial traps people get into- Learning material to read to get a better understanding of moneyAnd more! DC fam, I could not wait to talk about this topic! Ever since I opened my eyes and challenged my way of thinking in the realm we live in, I started asking questions. When we were growing up as children, we were taught about space, how the earth is a globe, NASA, and everything in between. When you look around you, everything is flat. The water has no curve, you rarely feel the dip in curvature or even the globe spinning as fast as they say it is. I also find it interesting when you socially oppose the round earth belief you get demonized for believing that. It’s crazy. I want to share with you why I believe the Earth is flat, and why the heliocentric model has been indoctrinated in us when past civilizations documented the earth as flat.On the episode, Owen and I talk about:- How I started believing the earth was flat- Scientific evidence proving the earth is flat- God’s creation of earth- How we’ve been indoctrinated as a society- The pull away from God and religion- Why do they want us to believe the Earth is round? And more! DC fam! We got Cynthia Ostos in the building today to have a chat about her journey into real estate. Cynthia has been in real estate for the past 13 years and has her own team under Revel Realty.
Cynthia has a very interesting background. She went from working as a Border Services Officer for the Federal Government to being a real estate agent. Her spark to get into the business came when she was selling her first property in her 20s and was enamored with the process of being a landlord. After doing my own research, I came to the conclusion that there is evidence that makes it true. Owen and I do a deep dive into how we’re fed false information on the news, how they're secret societies that control all industries, and how the collective consciousness can’t see the truth hidden in plain sight.

Welcome back for a brand new episode, DC fam! In today’s podcast, we’re discussing how technology is influencing the real estate industry. There are so many platforms that are emerging to empower agents to be at the top of their game and applications that provide clients with a smooth selling & buying process.
In our episode, Owen and I focus on how video is becoming a key driving force for agents. Agents have to adopt a video strategy to provide their prospective clients with an inside look into their listings, and their knowledge of the market, and build relationships with their audience from a distance. Refusing to adopt video poses a risk to an agent's business in 2023 and beyond.

In today’s conversation, Owen and I discuss how vices are collectively being normalized. We’re living in a time where we have so much access to nudity, drugs, alcohol, and gambling because of how technology has evolved. Vices that were deemed as taboo are now being commercialized.

There has been so much that has happened over the last several years that has shifted my focus on what I put into my body, and how I maintain myself to be in peak condition.
In today’s episode, Owen and I have a vulnerable conversation about things young men should know about themselves as they get older. When you’re young, you feel invincible. You can eat like crap, drink, and neglect having a quality sleep. But these habits cost you down the line as you age. As you age, you’ve got to take care of your prostate and the changes in your testosterone levels.

Welcome back DC family! In today’s episode, we’re going to be discussing how the media crafts misleading narratives around the real estate market. They exaggerate their headlines and write their articles with half-truths.
Owen and I are going to be talking about this article that BlogTO wrote a month ago. The headline is “Nobody is buying Toronto homes anymore as demand drops to the lowest level in years.” If you live in Toronto, you know that is not true. As a realtor, my issue with this is that many of prospective buyers & sellers will read headlines like this and be misinformed. With misinformation, people will make decisions that can have a major impact on their lives.
There are many articles like this online and it’s time I finally share my thoughts on it.

How we manage moments of failure will dictate our destiny, and the degree of happiness we will attain throughout our journey.

Welcome back DC family! We’re back in the studio today to talk about fraud in the real estate industry. Over the past year, they’ve been many cases where people are utilizing fake documentation to scam homeowners, and agents. The due diligence process has many cracks and it presents opportunities for individuals to scam the system by presenting false identification and background.
In this episode, we will be assessing a story that was on CBC on how a homeowner had their home sold without their knowledge. It’s tragic how innocent people are being scammed like this and the real estate industry faces the aftermath of what happens.

Welcome back for a brand new DC family episode! Today we’re going to be talking about pre-construction. We’re going to be doing a deep dive here as we do a case study of a pre-con builder doing it all wrong! Several years back, Toronto Life broke out a story called ‘Screwed.’ The story featured the rise and fall of Urbancorp and how they lost the money of nearly 200 pre-construction buyers and their chance to break into the market.
Urbancorp was a prolific company that had its hold in the real estate market as the premiere builder but everything went down south as they were exposed as a corrupt organization.
Buying a pre-construction has its pros and cons. And in this episode, we’re going to go through this story and highlight what to avoid when buying a pre-construction.
