I am on a mission to design my twenties around happiness and purpose! From having been in positions where I haven't been living according to what makes me happy, I have come to realize the importance of health and happiness above all else. The podcast is designed to inspire you to design a life you love through authentic chats on self-growth, health, following passions, and discussing the challenges we face in our 20s and how to overcome them!

You could play it safe, you could stay at that stable job that you don't really enjoy, longing for the weekend and waiting on that paycheck. It's good money, you could stay there, you’re comfortable and in your comfort zone, and it's doable. If you want a stable, cruisy decade without challenges, failures, learnings & adventure, this is not the episode for you. I am here to encourage you to take calculated risks, to launch into the unknown, and to push yourself out of your comfort zone. To challenge yourself. To lean into what scares you most but what's always on your mind. Today we're talking about taking risks in your twenties!!

Although the twenties can be a time of excitement, new experiences, opportunities & self-discovery, it's safe to say that many of us also experience a lot of internal stress! A lot of the stress we experience comes from our own pressures & high expectations for ourselves & our futures. We place so much pressure on ourselves to be successful and land that perfect job, to be financially secure and move into that perfect apartment, to be keeping up with our peers, to have that perfect summer body, to have quality friendships and relationships, and pressures to have high performance in every area of our lives. This can cause unnecessary self-induced stress and prevent us from living in the present. In this episode, we’re pushing external stressors and environmental pressures aside because according to psychology, we too are the ones to blame for our stress levels.
In this episode, we dive into the following:

This episode is all about the belief that we have in ourselves, and in our own abilities to achieve our goals and turn our dreams into reality. According to psychology, we not only have to believe that we can achieve our goals but also that we will achieve our goals. That we have the drive, motivation, and commitment to follow through with our goals. This comes down to our self-confidence & self-efficacy!

Imagine what you could do, what you could accomplish, and who you would be if you weren’t afraid of how others would perceive you! I think too many dreams and goals have been dismissed due to fear of judgement and social criticism. This episode is not here to tell you to just get over what other people think of you and start expressing yourself because quite frankly... it's not that simple. There are scientific & psychological reasons behind why we fear what other people think of us. This episode is to instead, chat through practical ways that we can overcome this fear and start living a life that's meant for us with confidence!

There is alot to say about purpose these days and I believe for good reason. However, there are layers to purpose that I would like to unpack in this episode. This episode is not designed to stress you out into thinking that you may need to find your one lifes purpose or you won’t live a happy and fulfilling life, not at all! I instead, talk about purpose in a more realistic and relatable way that doesn't end with you banging your head on the wall questioning whether or not you have purpose in your life. Although it is arguably an important question.

Decision-making can be an overwhelming and consuming process, particularly in our twenties when we are still figuring out who we are and what we want in life. I have made some questionable life decisions so far and have learned a lot in the process. I have also (more recently) made some really difficult decisions that I am quite proud of and have complete peace with. This episode is made up of lessons I have learned through my decision-making processes and research from those much wiser about how to make effective decisions without feelings of regret.

I have learned the power of asking for what you want in life! I genuinely believe that in order to live a life that we love, we must be able to initiate difficult conversations and speak up about what we want and where we see ourselves moving in life. We limit so much of our potential for happiness & growth if we are unable to address the areas in our lives that aren't bringing us up.
