The Deadly Physios

Australian Physiotherapy Association

23 Episodes

The Deadly Physios is a celebration of the stories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander physiotherapists from around Australia. Hosted by proud Kamilaroi man and APA member Cameron Edwards, each episode delves into the power of truth-telling. With music created by Iowendjeri Boonwurrung Kulin man Rudi Louis Taylor-Bragge, and artwork designed by Emma Bamblett, a descendant from the Wemba Wemba, Gunditjmara, Ngadjonji and Taungurung people, this is a feast of traditional storytelling, culture, language and connection to Country. And by Deadly we mean something that is awesome or fantastic. So join us for a yarn and enjoy some Deadly stories.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander listeners are warned that the following episodes may contain the names and voices of people who are deceased. We would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the many lands across Australia and pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging. We recognise their enduring connection to the lands and waterways of this country and thank them for protecting and maintaining this country for us and future generations.
