In this important episode, Mackenzie and Justine are joined by Dr. Lesley Steele, a Canadian veterinarian representative at NOMV (Not One More Vet). She talks about the mission of the organization and how it works to combat the troublingly high rate of suicides among members of the veterinary profession. Dr. Steele also shares some common of the reasons vets can struggle with their mental health and digs into how pet owners can help make a difference in this fight.
This episode is dedicated to the memory of Sassy, a pup patient of Dr. Steele who's life was lost just before the recording of this podcast episode.
