My 4 critical questions.
- How am I racialized in my school placement? How does that impact my identity/actions/assumptions?
- What choices am I making that are inequitable for my students and families?
- Am I making room for my emerging bilingual students to take linguistic risks? Or conversely, how am I unintentionally silencing them?
- Which students/ families am I “getting along with easily”? Why? How am I holding different students to different sets of expectations?
This episode is about my current vision of mathematics in teaching and learning. What I am think about the readings, activities, videos, etc. in forming a vision of my role as a teacher of math in relation to my students.

In this episode I go over my family history with interviewing my mom and hearing stories of my dad and her experiences in Mexico. Figuring out who they were before they immigrated to the United States. I am focusing on the social studies standard 3 of focusing on People, Places and Environment.
