Due to life events out of our control, John and Jim have to take a (hopefully) short sabbatical to get things in order and back under control. We are not canceling the show we want to make that clear. this is just a temporary hold on releasing episodes. we will return as soon as we can.

Hello Hello Hello. John and I are taking a stand. We may not have much to offer, but we can make a little protest, and this is it. The seriousness of the situation in the Ukraine and of Putin's invasion ( I wont say its Russian because I feel MOST of the Russian people don't want the war, and Putin is making his country suffer because of his actions, so the RUSSIANS are hurting too) Anyway, side tracked, We are standing with Ukraine. And our protest, unfortunately for you, (we are sorry), is no podcast this week.

He gives us some Loch facts, some Loch history, and runs down some ideas of what Nessie could be, if its not really what we all hope it could be.
This week John brings us yet another odd and interesting food rivalry, that of Frito vs Lay, and how innovation and creativity led to the iconic snack food sensation.
In another haunted location visit Jim takes us to Eastern State Penitentiary (ESP). Reportedly one of the most haunted locations in America. With a very long active life, and then decades of neglect this location is now open for tours, and come complete with experiences.

In this, our first listener requested episode, Jim talks to us about Dreams. He gives us definitions, ideas and reasons of and for dreams. He and John talk a little about their dreams, or lack there of. And, Jim reads a listener story about their dream.

In Apocalypse Next John talks about a few ways that we, as humans, may see an end to ourselves. Ends that can be controllable, changeable. But, it will require work from us to do so. This isnt going to be an episode of what to do after the world has ended, or how to prepare for such an event. This week Jim takes a dive into a conspiracy. Maybe one of the first, or most famous, or most controversial of conspiracies. The Roswell even of 1947 has had several "explanations" or "reasons" to have, or to not have, happened. Well Jim tells us how UFO's and Flying Saucers got their their name. The events around just a couple days in July 1947, that were soon forgotten to be dredged up again many years later...and, yet again, for your listening enjoyment now!

In this fact filled, name dropping, detailed second part to the Salem Witch Trials, John lets us know some of who, some of how, and some of what happened to the poor souls who were at the wrong end of a pointed finger. And, some of the effects this event has had trailing down through history until even very recently.
This week John tells us a little bit about the beginning of the Salem Witch Trials with key names and the start of the events. An in-depth look at how the people and the courts drew conclusions about the guilt of the accused.
Jim brings us part 2 of the missing colony and with it some interesting theories as to what may have happened. Jim and John discuss their own ideas. And, Jim's research finds the word Croatoan is a bit weirder than one would originally think.
In this first of a two part episode Jim tells us the backstory and whats what with why the colony even went to Roanoke. He fills us in on some of the history even he didn't know about before his research for this show. It also gives the details of why the ill fated colony chose this location as the spot to be when they wanted to change their lives.
This week Jim brings us the idea of the possibility of traveling outside ourselves to see and do things would normally wouldn't be able to, via means of Astral Projection. Bringing his own personal story into the show Jim tells about how he himself Astral Projected, or maybe it was an out of body experience. Learn the differences and decide for yourself if there even are any.
This week was to supposed be our super special listeners spooky story episode. However, unfortunately, we received no spooky stories to tell. So, instead, Jim and John talk more about themselves, and the spooky events they have personally experienced in their lives. So it's still a spooky story episode, it's just Jim and John's spooky stories episode.
This week John talks about the pop culture phenomenon that many have grown to love to hate - and the cultural concepts behind the zombie films in modern history!
In this weeks installment of our Spooky Season Jim continues his excursion into "Ghost City" and gives us more haunted hot spots around Jerome Az. Also, in another first for the show, Jim has taken some creative liberties and given us a brief story of would could be described as a perfect day for him. Now nicknamed by some as Ghost City, Jerome has been dubbed by many as the most haunted town in America due to its storied and shady past.
