Chapter 8
- Jesus Cleans a man of leprosy Matthew 8: 1-4
- A leper came and worshipped Jesus saying, Lord if you are willing you can make me clean.
- Then Jesus put his hand out and touched him and immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
- He told him to go the priest and offer the gift that Moses Commanded as a testimony to them.
- Leprosy is a contagious disease that affects the skin,mucous membranes,and nerves,causing discoloration and lumps on the skin and,in severe cases disfigurement and deformities.
2.) Jesus Heals a Centurion’s Servant Matthew 8:5-13
- Centurion is a kind of soldier in the Roman Army responsible for the command of a century, or one hundred,men.
- A Centurion came to Jesus and said Lord my servant is lying at home paralyzed,dreadfully tormented.Jesus said I will come and heal him. Centurion said Lord I am not worthy that you should come under my roof,But only speak a word and my servant will be healed! The Faith of this man Jesus marveled and said he hasn’t found great faith not even in Israel.
3.) Peter’s Mother in Law Healed Matthew 8:14-17
- Jesus came to peter's house and he saw his wife's mother lying sick with a fever all jesus did was touched her hand and the fever left her. She got up and then served them!
- Many Healed when evening had come Jesus healed many demons possessed he cast out the spirits with a word people and sick people.So that it might be fulfilled with the prophet Isiah saying He himself took our infirmities and bore our sickness.
4.) Scribe wanted to follow Jesus but wanted to bury his father fist then follow Jesus.Jesus said let the dead bury their own dead. Matthew 8:22
5.) Wind and Wave Obey Jesus Matthew 23-27
- Tempest definition, a violent windstorm, especially one with rain, hail, or snow.
- So the disciples followed Jesus on the boat and suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves.The disciples woke up Jesus and said save us we are perishing!
6.) Two Demon- Possessed Men Healed Matthew 28-34
- Jesus had come to the other side of the country of the Gergesenes there met him two demon -possessed men coming out of the tombs exceedingly fierce means having or displaying an intense or ferocious aggressiveness.
- They cried out What have we to do with you Jesus,You Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time? They had to ask for permission!.God allows everything they do they do not have authority over themselves and not over Jesus ! God does!.They already know that they have a little time on this earth.

Chapter 7
- Do not Judge Matthew 7 1-6
- Why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye but do not consider the plank in your own eye! If you judge you will be judged with the same measure you judge.
2.) Keep seeking and Knocking Matthew 7: 7-12
- Everyone who asks receives he who seeks finds ,and him who knocks it will be
opened. Do to men what you would want done to you!
3.) Narrow Way Matthew 7:13-14
- Enter by the narrow gate for broad is the way that leads to destruction.
- Narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life there are few who find it.
3.) You will know them by their fruits
- Good works ,Fruits of the spirit, beware of False Prophets Matthew 7: 15-20
4.) Not Everyone that says lord lord will enter the kingdom of heaven! Matthew 21-22
Whoever does the will of my father in heaven!

Chapter 6
1.) Do good to please God Matthew 6:1-4
a.) Do not do your charitable deeds before men
b.) Do it in secret so your father in heaven can reward you openly!
2.) How to pray Matthew 6: 5-14
- When you pray go to your room when you have shut the door pray to your father in the secret place he will reward you openly. Forgive men their trespasses so the father can forgive your trespasses!
3.) Fasting to be seen by God
a. Anoint your head and wash your face to appear as your fasting. Do it secretly so the father can reward you openly. Matthew 6:16 -18
4.) For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:19-20
5.) The Lamp of the body is the eye Matthew 6:22-23
a. The eye is good then the whole body will be full of light. If the eye is bad then the whole body is full of darkness. How great is that darkness?
6.) You can Not Serve 2 Masters Matthew 6:24
- Either he will hate the one and love the other. Else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You can not serve god and mammon means riches or material wealth.
7.) Do Not Worry Matthew 6 :25-34
a. Why do you worry about clothing eating and drinking The Lord always knows what we need, he will provide faith in that. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Do not worry about tomorrow.

Chapter 5 The Beatitudes of Christ
The poor in spirit (the humble) Matthew 5:3-11
a. Those who mourn( the hurting)
b. The meek ( Harnessed trusting in the lord)
c. Those who hunger and thirst for righteousness ( The hungry)
d. The merciful ( The Helpers)
e. The pure in heart (The Holy)
f. The peacemakers ( The Healers)
g. Those who are persecuted for righteousness sake (The harasses)
Believers are the salt and light of this world let light shine so bright that your father gets the all the glory for it! Do not get weary of doing and being holy!
Matthew 5:13-16
Christ Fulfills the Law
The commandments are our laws for Christ and the word of god and to obey it! Unless you righteousness exceeds the scribes and Pharisees. You will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

What does it mean you have to blind your right eye when you catch it Lustful leer and your right hand when it is raised threateningly. We Can remove yourself from the thing that are tempting our eye and hands to sin.
6.) Marriage is sacred and binding
a. Whoever divorces their wife for any reason except sexual immorality
Causes her to commit adultery. Matthew 5:31-32
7.) Jesus Forbids Oaths a. Let your yes be yes and your no be no. For whatever is more than these Is from the evil one. Matthew 5:33-37 8.) Go the Second Mile a. Give to him who ask you and who wants to borrow from you do not turn away. Do not seek revenge or retaliate! Matthew 5:38-41 9.) Love Your Enemies a. Bless those who curse you do good to those who hate you and pray for Those who Spitefully use you and persecute you therefore you shall be Perfect like your father. Mathew 5:43-48

John the Baptist Prepares The Way
- John came preaching in the wilderness telling people to repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand .Matthew 3:1-4

Chapter 4
- Satan Tempted Jesus
- Jesus was led into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. He had fasted 40 days and 40 nights and afterward he was very hungry.
- Satan tempted him 3 times said if you are the son god turn this stone into bread .Jesus said, It is written man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of god. Then Satan took him to the pinnacle of the temple said him throw yourself down. Jesus said ,it is written again you shall not tempt your god, Then he took Jesus to a high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and lord said all these things I will give to you if you fall down and worship me Jesus said Away with you Satan! For it is written, You shall worship the lord your god and him only you shall serve. Matthew 4:1-11
- Jesus begins PREACH ING when he heard that john had been put in prison. He departed to galilee and leaving Nazareth. He came in Capernaum, which is by the sea in the regions of Zebulun and Naphtali Matthew 4:17
- Four Fishermen Called as Disciples (Simon Called Peter, and Andrew his brother, James the son of Zebedee and John his brother. Matthew 4:18-22
- Jesus Heals a Great Multitude he went teaching and preaching in their synagogues ,preaching the gospel of the kingdom healing all kind of sickness and all kind of diseases among the people. His fame went throughout Syria Matthew 4:23-25

The Book Of Matthew
Chapter 1 & 2
- Genealogy of Jesus Matthew 1:1-17
Matthew traces the lineage back 42 generations from Abraham. The messiah was from the line of David. Joseph was the ancestor of David.
2.) Who is Mary?
Mary who is she was the mother of Jesus and a virgin betrothed which means engaged or married to joseph before she came together with child by the holy spirit. She was pregnant with Jesus! Matthew 1:18-24
- Joseph was a just man when he found out she was pregnant and wanted to put her a way meant to divorce her. He didn’t want her to be put to shame, being stoned to death was the punishment for adultery.
- But Angel came to Joseph in a dream and said don’t be afraid to take mary as your wife! Matthew 1:20-21
3.) Wise Men from the east was a respected group of scholars that study the stars and other sources to know about the future Matthew 2:1-12
- Wise Men came from the east to Jerusalem saying Where is he that has been born King of the Jews. Matthew 2:2
- Herod The Great was a king of Judea by the Roman Senate 37 BC he wanted to protect his throne at all cost.
- Herod became troubled when he heard this from the Wiseman and gathered all of the chief priests and scribes. He wanted to know where the child would be born Matthew 2:3
- Herod secretly gathered with the Wiseman and asked what time did the star appear. He wanted the Wiseman to bring the child to him so that he might be able to worship him also. Matthew 2:7-8
- When they were traveling and saw the star they rejoiced and went into the house and saw Mary with the child. They brought Jesus gold, frankincense, and myrrh and praised and worship him. Then they were warned in a dream not to return to Herod so they departed for their own country another way. Matthew 2:9-12
- Joseph had an angel of the lord appear to him to flee to Egypt until it is safe because Herod is trying to destroy the child.
- Herod had all male children killed in Bethlehem he found out the Wiseman deceived him and became angry.
- Nazareth how did Jesus come from her?
- Herod had died and angel of the lord appeared to joseph in a dream and told them to go to Israel. Joseph got scared because the new king Archelaus was wicked. So the angel of the lord to him to go the North that is the region of Galilee city of Nazareth.
