Dan Berry is the author of the successful book Navigating Diversity in Our Most Segregated Hour, and advises individuals & organizations on how to take first steps toward racial healing. He has pastored for 40 years in Iowa. After pastoring in predominately white spaces for several years he began to realize the need to bring about racial healing in the body of Christ. For the last 30 years he has worked to bridge ethnic and cultural divides, a work that has led him into confronting the churches complicity in upholding systems of racism.
After genuine repentance, we must move on to the essential work of repair…what does that look like, how do we do that?
When we learn about our past, purpose to remember the truth that has been hidden, it will lead us to lament and repent.
Am I an Expert at Uninformed Arguments?
I pose that because we continue to be in a time of heightened “Racial Tension”
People are still struggling to find their voice and the ability to have productive, healing conversations that help build bridges
