BSC is a Cal Poly Pomona business competition where you and other like-minded individuals can both pitch your business idea as well as work alongside tenured individuals for a chance to win cash prizes as well as invaluable experience.
In the past, the competition has been very polished but a little closed off but we hope to make it a little more open to the public.
The competition is open to all majors, you do not need to be a Business major.
We worked towards it, we did it and now we're here with our old friends.
Having completed the event successfully, I got the chance to sit down with some of those who participated in the competition. We talk broadly on their thoughts and their hopes for their future.
This is most probably the last episode of this season. It has been a pleasure serving all of you and I hope you will share the same kindness with the next BSC staff team.
Last up on the finalist spotlight series is Plants 4 The People. I got to sit down with both Jacobs to talk about their vision for P4TP. Hoping to bring people closer to the food they eat, they are trying to create a safe and communal space for people to come together through their nonprofit.
You can find more of their work at: www.Plants4ThePeople.org

We talk about how we got into this, things that we like, and things that we don't like as well as just give a heads up to future students who would like to experience what we are experiencing.
Enjoy!

Hello, I am Yu Zeng and I'll be your host for this season of the Bronco Startup Challenge.
Dr. Millar’s signature workshop helps individuals, teams, and organizations to focus their thinking and to strategically plan effective future endeavors. The workshop is adapted from the “5 Most Important Questions” of his mentor, “father of modern management” Peter F. Drucker.
Participants will develop their own compelling narrative by working through the deceptively simple questions 1) What is my mission?; 2) Who is my customer?; 3) What does my customer value?; 4) What are my results?; and 5) What is my plan?
