Once upon a time in Kolkata there was a young girl aspiring to be a part of the advertising world. Serendipity and she was a RJ! For years we remained connected through my FM show, Coffeehouse Classics. It definitely was a soul connect and perhaps the reason why even after 10 long years of quitting the RJ-hood, RJ Rupsha (yes! I have a different spelling now!) remains a friend who is not forgotten. Can't thank all enough who have encouraged me to finally launch my own podcast - Musings with Roopsha. The Valentine's Day is the perfect beginning to the relationship that had paused and must now continue to live forever. Let's stay connected through words, dreams and hope. Let the ears bind our hearts forever.
My tribute to my friend KK who had always been different. A star without that halo of pride.

Void is numbness, a hollow feeling difficult to explain. When the heart is heavy, the words should pour to make us feel lighter. Let there be light, love and peace. Let us be strong and hold on.

During unhappy seasons the reason why we dare to breathe is the hope we have on our dreams. And the memories of a lifetime to keep the battle on.

Maa. Her Bindi. Her smile. Her smell. Life moves on without her but it isn't the same anymore. The emptiness is deep and dark.
Walking the bylanes to touch her...may my words reach you in the sky above, Maa.
