Matt and Lucy Gwyn are incredible friends of our and carry such a powerful testimony of what following Jesus can look like. Their stories seem to hinge around one particular idea: God is still moving and speaking to His people. He can guide us through specific direction and truly answers us when we ask Him to make His will known.

Alyssa has been a friend of Jon and Tim for several years. Her pursuit of God started with a recognition of Him as a Creator of a beautiful creation and has led her to study the Bible in college in a relentless desire for truth. It was incredible to hear her heart for prayer and how that has formed a deep heart for the nations of the earth.

It's been an incredible privilege to see where Jonathan has come from and where he is heading! In this episode he shares some of the intense difficulties he faced in his childhood and into high school. This dude has fought through some incredibly hard moments. We kept coming back to the need for each of us to build up our mental fortitude. From grenades to Pennsylvania Dutch to wilderness seasons to spiritual warfare, we hit some really important topics.

It was a genuine honor to hear Jenna share her story and the incredible revelations God has given her through suffering. We haven’t ever really talked about suffering or grief before, but it’s so important to have a theology that doesn’t ignore such a large part of human existence. We hope that through hearing Jenna’s story and all of the different Scripture verses we shared you will embrace suffering and find God in the midst of it.

In our first "real" episode for season two, Jon and I got the chance to interview a new friend, Laura Musser. Her story of meeting Jesus after years of trying to serve him and understand him is incredible. Not only has she been transformed by his love and presence, now she is sharing that with others in some radical ways! God's heart for rest goes way beyond sleeping or even taking a Sabbath day, though both are definitely part of it. In this episode, we interview a very good friend who has been on a journey with Jesus regarding some of these things. Resting in the righteousness and refusing to strive for God's pleasure is so important. Especially given the subjects we've been talking about!

In part one of episode six, our friend Ben shares his experience of "doing it wrong." God has recently brought increased awareness of the incredible gift of relationships to our community and we wanted to talk about how to honor each other.
