Passive happiness

Successful people know that the secret to success is not a secret.

Passive happiness is a term I use to explain how I live my life. In this podcast you will learn how to become happy, healthy, wealthy, and thriving.

There are simple laws of nature that describe how to obtain all of these things. Many people never tap the unobstructed endless flow of energy that lives within themselves.

All too often people let their surroundings and outside influences dictate their life. This podcast exposes those and shows you how to become happy, healthy, wealthy, and thriving.

10x goals by Grant Cardone is a joke without this... Goals are not the end all be all product that will get you what you want in life. Grant Cardone suggests that you have 10x goals and that those will compel you to achieve great things. In the book the 10x rule by Grant Cardone he suggests that setting goals high enough will motivate you to get the things you want. However big goals alone are not enough. There needs to be massive action and a definite purpose for proper goal achievement. In the book by James clear called atomic habits there is an idea discussed about The goal is not the determiner that will get you what you want It is something called systems. couple this with a clear definite purpose a system and a goal then achievement is possible only after something very difficult or a trial will all of this effort come into existence.

I was a mechanic and I didn't like it cuz I was just inside of a the back of a shop fixing cars and there was no human interaction and honestly driving me nuts and so I finally got a radio and I turned it on I was like okay to hear something else rather than inside my brain which inside my brain was my own brain sometimes and bosses like now you can't have radio cuz it's distracting and I'm not going home man so ultimately I didn't stay at that job cuz it was just so monotonous and then I took a job with my brother and he's like hey I really need your help and my brother at the time is doing electrical and I was like all right whatever what do you need help up and he says I'm I'm scared enough and I can do the job and I can do anything but I can't talk to people and I thought well that's silly I mean why can't you talk to people and I didn't realize that this is something that people struggle with and since I didn't know this is something that people struggle with I didn't think that I should struggle with it I was just thought well this is great I just I'll deal with it I'll handle it so we go to jobs and we need to meet with people I would do all of the talking and I do know how to say I didn't know but he knew but I knew that he was there and we could answer the questions if I needed to and I did all of the talking to the customers he did all of the working with the customers and so when I learned some valuable lessons there I learned really quickly how to identify a like a level playing field or like a like a an equalizer or like a body language so I learned quickly what someone was saying without saying it the way they were standing told me what they wanted to say to me the way their eyes would would look at me or wouldn't look at me the way they hold their hands or where they touch their what their hands would touch if they so a woman with a woman grabbed her elbow and touched her the little notch below her ear I could tell she was uncomfortable you know if if their feet started to turn away from me and I pointed away for me I knew they were done talking to me and I could quickly wrap the conversation up so and these were and I didn't realize this was body language I didn't know I was learning that I just thought I was just I thought it was just you know talking with people and picking out ways that I could talk to them more efficiently and so I enjoy these techniques and then I later on in my life I got books about it and I realized that this was a lot of talent I was picking up my kids was just asking you the other day how do you just talked about people and it's easy because my role is if you look at me that means you're going to talk to me now that might not be true but I I use it and I also use something else I use artwork to start a conversation and you're like no what the heck doesn't you know people aren't wearing artwork how do you how do you do that and when someone's house they don't have artwork it's like you know what if they don't have it what they do everybody has artwork everybody wants what they're doing or what they had on their walls artwork doesn't necessarily mean minutes you know drawings and paintings and stuff but maybe it is maybe they have tattoos well they they mean something to that person otherwise they wouldn't permanently put them on your skin simple conversations implements that's an easy easy easy icebreaker to talk about them in fact everybody your conversation conversation conversation and that's not a word anyways every bit of that comes from just identifying with those people and common ground and I always use their ground as common when I just join them on their ground their ground is that tattoo I just join them in that tattoo bring it up say hey that's an interesting tattoo where did you get it and what's the story there's a story okay of course there's a story who's always a story and if you can see it you may want to tell you the story on the walls in our house. me asking the questions anytime did ask a question and answer quickly and quickly get the conversation back over to that person and the reason being is for two things well for one he's chosen I'm listening because I'm I'm listening to what they're saying and then I follow up questions and then follow up question I got this one guy going for like 2 hours and I never once said anything about myself I just let him talk and I think my own opinion I think that makes you more influential to people because with either students two reason that you should treat for it first it's actually the backup I think every

WHAT ARE YOU PROUD OF........... because it's just it's the way I've always learned I've learned through myself but you don't I wanted to kind of go back to what the friends say you know why they fail why they can't do things and I always say you know look at the things why you can succeed instead of looking at why you fail look at why you succeed that's let's think about some of your successes before you think about all of the negatives and there's so many negative sure there's lots of negatives and everybody's life but there's also lots of positive still so I mean you could always say that bad things happen or I never passed my test drive I never do this any of that but you.

Whenever you start out on an adventure to get something done it's always around the 2-mile mark or the proverbial sticking point when people jump ship. In a marriage this is around 6 years. In any business adventure it's right when you have to learn something new. In learning any new skill it's right when it gets difficult. In any direct sales type business it is when you have to talk to a new client new customer or make a business presentation. There are all types of moments when the 2-mile mark shows up. In this podcast I go over the exact 2-mile mark when a jogging expedition becomes difficult for me it's at 2 mi and I discuss how getting past the 2 mi makes it easily attainable to get to whatever amount that I choose to get to.

jump in the pool and see if you can swim or get out of the boat I mean you know since it's simple You never know if you can do it until you try In fact just tonight just 40 minutes ago I just did something that I've never done before because I wanted to see if I could do it and I just jogged I just jogged for as long as I possibly could and actually I thought it could have kept on going I thought to that point I'd only ever done two miles but tonight and that wasn't like a long time ago I mean I'm just haven't really been joking I just wanted to push myself to see what I could do right now and I just did 4.1 mi That's huge for me I mean it's it's massive so what I wanted to talk about about the ideas so my point to all that driving stuff was basically you know you never know what you're doing to try And so I came up with this idea out of necessity yeah I just showed the whole idea I don't it's not a like an idea that doesn't exist it already exists it's just a better mousetrap and it's really that's the better way to look at things it doesn't have to be unique brand new it just needs to be better than what it was before so my wife had her tonsils taken out and was in the dark that's an absolute disgusting world of thing to do so whatever did you ever think about getting your doctors taken I just want to keep them in deal with whatever you get strep throat and whatever possible I just keep them No no take them out I'm just kidding because that was a joke bad joke the whole thing I had to take 10 days off of work and I stayed home with kids and I got the kids on the bus and off the bus and no dinner and no breakfast made lunch and just everything which you know she does what I had normally so it's a lot but as I'm doing that I had an issue with the bathrooms I mean this bus is terrible I never know when the bus gets here and when the whole thing is they fix the bus the bus is breaks and down getting a little busy little wives cuz it doesn't speak and it gets to my house you know normally when it gets to the to the front of the house because the special needs are the best come straight to my house I can hear the bus stop s and they just have an apparently not as far as like you know what to do so I was talking to my my business partner get a little side business in this way to do build stuff like this and he's like yeah I think we can put something together so we did a little research on it and it turns out there are other you know bus tracking systems out there and they're expensive and just so happens that they don't have one at this company but I mean that this place where we live since I was like you know I've just go for it so we built the application and then I called the bus company and and that was when I just two days ago just decided to take action on it call them up we're working on implementing it right now we currently have the product in place and we're working through some dogs that it's having we haven't actually done live with it yet because it's just having a lot of bugs the problem still exists that there's a need for it they decided there's a need for it so they work for it and now they're having problems which is understandable and so that's the thing that I would never know if that idea would have worked had I not tried I don't want them not called them I would never know that they're having issues normally that they're having issues it's an easy opportunity to photo serve them and so let's that's that's the idea is just to take your ideas and get them out of your head tell people about them like this part is test tell everybody your idea is going to take your idea should we do this should we do that again excuses and a great idea after talking to thisYou're just so cool cuz let me think about this The best thing is a GPS unit in GPS is free it's just global positioning and that part's free but the most expensive part is the servers and those are cheap and then you got an application that you can build an ap

What do gummy bears, pelicans, and Brad Pitt have in common? Nothing I just thought it was funny to start with something stupid. this episode is all about praising other people for doing what they do best. Praise is a lost art and has especially gone to the wayside during this time of uncertainty and despair. Times of despair are the best time to provide the world with positivity uplifting words and thankfulness. Thankfulness is one of those most important things to share. If you have time today give your mother a call and say thank you. Give your professor a call and say thank you. Call and educator and tell them thank you. Simple acts of kindness are what will change the world for the better. I'm not perfect but I am perfectly happy when I am being a go-giver and not a go-getter. Stay amazing have a fantastic day.

Mindset is everything. If you gain nothing from this episode then read this part of the episode and do one thing. Very simple take a yellow notepad write your problem at the top and then come up with possible solutions. it's very important that you use a yellow notepad this color is known to inspire and motivate thought. I'm not sure if that's true but it seems like it has been in my experience. Enjoy

Have you ever noticed people get exactly what they say they're going to get. If they say they're broke they are broke. If they say they're going to have a bad day you're right you will have a bad day. If they expect that they will get pulled over when that cop gets up behind them they surely do get pulled over. When they are late and they think they're going to hit every red light turns out that they do hit every single red light. In this episode we discuss how expecting things to happen usually is what happens. You'll hear my personal experiences And how they affect my life in this episode. Enjoy

If you want to make a lot of money then you need to find a lot of people to serve. In this episode you learn the law of compensation which says you can have anything you want in this life if you find out how to give everybody everything they want. I believe that was said by Zig Ziglar and probably hundreds of other people before him. The law basically says your direct pay depends upon how much you do for others. Listen in and I'll share my personal experiences on this matter. Enjoy

I'm going to do it, I will do it later, after this I'm going to do it, when I then I will, as soon as I'm done with, once this is over then I will, and the time is just not right. All these excuses to push things back are detrimental to life. I want to show how taking action can be done in real time. Someday I'll do a live show where I take action on air. But for now here's a podcast of me recording right after I took action and my results enjoy.

Contrary to what your mother has said, do not treat others the same way you want to be treated. This is a concept that seems pretty backwards until you start to really think about it. In the book the five love languages we learn that everyone has a different way of communicating and a different way of receiving positive reinforcement. If we try to communicate with everyone the exact same way we will oftentimes feel frustrated and ultimately not gain the trust that we desire. Treat others the way they want to be treated and the results will be fantastically amazing

I love asking this question Passion or skill. I hope you have the answer before you go into business because you're going to find both types. You'll find people that are incredibly passionate And you'll find some people that are incredibly knowledgeable with very little passion. Ideally it's great to have both but if you had to choose I choose passion over skill any day of the week. I can always teach skill I can't teach passion I can't teach someone to love their job I can't teach someone to love someone else. That has to come from within. Skill comes from without from other people from books from online from learning from all these different areas. So in my opinion I choose passion long over I would choose skill. how fantastic would it be to have a skillful passionate person wow you'd have a Terminator actually know what you'd have is an entrepreneur. And that person would probably work for themselves.

You could simply be misconstrued if it is not taken in context properly. Oversharing is not meant to speak about people that talk about things they shouldn't rather to talk about things that people deserve feedback on. LinkedIn has become more of a " look what I'm doing " then an actual site to connect with other people and build businesses. This episode is to inspire you to reach out and give honest real genuine feedback to comments and posts when they arise.

Authenticity is one of the biggest keys to success. Overlooked easily by its simplicity it is not given the credence it deserves. Simply said you can become whatever you want to be but if you get there and you are not the person you want to be what is the point. Being authentic is being true to yourself. Listen to this episode as I share how to become authentic while being authentic. Sometimes I catch myself changing the way I interact with people or the things that I write. Sometimes I even try to almost filter myself. I remember when I first signed into LinkedIn I had a picture where I was wearing a suit and tie which is totally not me. I felt uncomfortable I felt out of place but I felt like this was what LinkedIn wanted me to portray. I read articles about how to effectively market yourself. I thought this was the right answer when I first started down this path only to realize how uncomfortable and how not fun it was to be something that you are not. I found that changing my photo to something more lively, something more like myself was a simple easy change but it is something that makes me authentic. The world is full of people that are trying to be like somebody else. There are so many amazing examples out there like Hollywood and all of the celebrities. It is easy to try to be like them but in the process you lose a good portion of who you are. In the process of losing this person you also lose the ability to sell your finest commodity... yourself. Being an unauthentic person is like dating someone for a long time only to find out that they are actually very horrible people. It is easy to fall into this trap and happens to many people. Success in life starts with being true to yourself and being true to those that you are around. You can be your strongest self when you stop worrying about what other people are thinking and you just be you. It's hard to be you when the world says you need to be a certain way and that is not the way you are. But all of the successful people in the world will tell you being yourself and selling yourself the way you are is the way to become wildly successful and have all of the fame and happiness that you think you want.
